  • Audio service does not work, error 0 x 80004005: unspecified error

I have problems with my laptop in regards to the audio service does not. The sound icon has an x on it and ran the SCP prompt automatically update/fix drivers without success (may have spelled promot hurt, but it was the solution to many similar forum messages). I also tried to uninstall the audio driver and put it back, however when I run the driver installation an error message appears and says that Windows Audio is not running and needs in order to perform the installation. I went to the system administrator and seen the services menu and went to windows audio properties. I tried from the program and the error message "error 0 x 80004005: unspecified error" comes up. All dependent services for the Windows Audio are running, so I came to a dead end. The only thing I can think of that would make the audio not working do not is my battery. My battery is in poor condition and needs to be replaced, so I always us the AC cord to power the computer. Depends on Windows Audio battery somehow or something of this nature? If so, is there anyway around this until I can buy a new? Thanks for your help. Clay

Hello!!! can you tell me you have a single machine windows7 or mutiple.

    I suggest two things here

    (1) try to copy and merge the audio of an another windows7 home premium or better service

You can do this by going into the Registry Editor (make sure that the other computer is also a 32-bit system)

HKLM/system/current control set/services/audiosrv click audiosrv and then on the file menu, select export and save the file to a USB key or drive.

While copy on your machine and merge. Then restart your system.

    (2) you can try an upgrade on the spot with the windows7 dvd. Where you can repair the windows all without losing what.

    Thank you. :)

  • Streaming mp3 using the Audio tag does not work in the app, while working in the browser

    Hello

I fight with this problem on the second day and still can not get it to work.

I'm on Soundcloud mp3 streaming and all works in Wellington and the browser on the device, he refuses to work in the application.

-Do you have someone at - it had the similar problem?

-Have you had a chance to make the streaming solution work in app?

-It could be cause by the fact that Soundcloud uses a 302 redirect to a temporary URL?

    Thanks in advance

I think that the redirect can be a problem. It works if you choose a url that links directly to a stream for example

    http://AUDIO1.ideastream.org/wcpn64

Have you tried? I used the audio tag to read feeds with success on OS6 and OS7. On OS6 was a problem of the CBC, but the original CBC played yet.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: HP Pavilion - Audio Service does not

Hi I recently bought a new HP Pavilion 15 and the volume down icon to the right, footer has an 'x' in a red circle next to it. When I go over it, it says "audio service does not work. I currently have no sound on the laptop.

No idea how this can be fixed please?

    Thank you

    Hi Tom,

    Try the following.

Download the Realtek Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66001-66500/sp66107.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

Expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66001-66500/sp66094.exe

After reinstalling, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Let Windows load completely - it can automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the installation of Realtek Audio program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  Left click 'Speakers and headphones' (or speakers/HP) once to highlight and then click on the button set as default (it will be gray if already defined)-check if you now audio.

If you have still no audio, hold down the Windows key and press R.  Type services.msc and press ENTER.  Search for audio Windows servive, right-click and select Properties.  If the service does not work, try to run.

If you still receive the "Windows could not start the service windows audio on local computer» Error OX800706cc - the endpoint is double ' mistake, you're best bet is to do a Refresh as detailed on the link below.
