The autorun Flash presentation

I have a big project I'm working on. It is supposed to be a presentation that runs of the CD. It has a file Windows Projector main flash, with a container where I load film #1, then I load movie 2 in the container located in the film #1, etc. All the movies that I load into the main projector file are stored in a separate folder. the projection file is in the folder root of the CD. How do the local project file when the user places the CD in the drive? I have to have something to make autorun? I'd appreciate a quick help. I'm sure that's not a very complex question, but for me, it's something that I haven't done before. For awhile, I had the impression that the projection file is enough to burn it to a CD so that when the CD is put in the drive it starts to play on its own. Maybe there's a piece of ActionScript code that I put in the projection file. Or something else? I have Flash 8 Pro and use ActionScript 2.0.

    Greetings,

I understand that Panda Antivirus has a feature enabled by default, which disables the Autorun feature in Windows.  My question is, if someone has Panda anti-virus, Autorun is disabled by default, which will interfere with scheduled weekly or daily tasks associated with the back to the top of the files on the flash drive?  What about using vaccintation for the Panda AV drive?  This has been show to have an effect on the Flash drive backup schedules?

Not a Windows issue. You should check the FAQ of Panda.

  • Anyone who is familiar with the Flash presentations?

    Hello.
I continue to have problems movieclips playing on some slides in a Flash presentation.
If someone is * reasonable * experience with Flash presentations please let me know. You might be familiar with the problem, or have any suggestions.
    Thanks in advance,
    K

The solution to this problem ends up being what I posted below. In this case, the issue was that code as it stood had the "gotoPreviousSlide()" before "slide.gotoAndPlay ()" then it would first go to the previous slide and only then reset the playhead and play from frame 1. After that, he started to work as expected.

  • Why Flash presentation retractable or not completely show preview in browser?

Whenever I saw the FLASH presentation I've created, in a browser, gets cut off the lower part of the presentation or the entirety of the presentation is shrinking.

My stage size has been set at 524 x 1048 because it is the width of the space I have for it on the Web page. When I saw in a browser, does not show the lower part of the presentation. I needed more space downstairs so I changed the height in 2000 and when I saw it, the presentation was shurnk.

Any idea on how to keep my demension and still be able to see everything? I know that the scene is long, but I want users to be able to scroll to the bottom of their browser to see the bottom.

  • Try to get a wireless remote control to work with Flash presentation... Help!

I know almost nothing about Flash or Powerpoint.  They gave me a Flash presentation that I need I want to show at meetings using my wireless remote control, but I can't seem to move forward and backward between slides (works very well using the arrow keys on the keyboard to laptop - Windows XP Pro).  The remote works fine with Powerpoint presentations, so I don't know the remote is ok.  Is there some setting/order I have to run my Flash presentation with my remote, or do I need a special remote control?  I have already spoken to the remote support (Keyspan/TrippLite) and they were totally unknown wirh Flash and said simply that their device works with Powerpoint, as announced, which was true, but they could not help me with Flash presentations.  There, can someone help me?  Thank you very much!

Thanks a lot for all the help.  I see a lot of situations where I can use the functions available through the use of SharpKeys2 key mapping, as well as a few other programs I 'discovered' during my travels recent (KeyTweak + AutoHotKey).  Even better for my situation here, I just got a more advanced model Keyspan remote (PR-Pro3) what Flash handles submissions very well - I have no idea why - and nor their tech support, apparently.  Anyway, the PR - EZ1 will come back to Newegg and I'm fortunately wireless practice of my script for my Flash presentation - working remote in hand!  Take care.

  • Problem with flash presentation

Hello, I ve created a flash presentation. It will display in full screen.
You can think of it as a presentation power point.
Where each slide would be a new movie that loads above the one that precedes.

    Let´s I have 2 movies, where 2 loads above 1.
The problem is that when I load movie 2 on top of film 1 (they are the same size, 2 film covers the entire scene), the button (link) that was used in the movie 1 to load the movie 2, is still active, even if the film 1 is hidden underneath 2 movie. Film 2 has a background layer that covers the entire scene.

    How could I avoid that?

    Thanks, Marcelo.

PS: Please let me know if I was clear enough luckily.

    I don't know if it's the best way, but what I always do is put a big invisible button on the bottom layer of the movieclip 2 (this is the size of the film, which also sounds as if it was the same size as the stage), then give the button an instance name, then put this line of code in an actions layer (not the button) instance name.useHandCursor = false;

    hope that helps

  • Add Audio to a Flash presentation

I have a Flash presentation for a client and I use scenes to browse the various pages of the comp site I created for them. In my own Web site, I have a responsible external mp3 player that points to a xml playlist: www.graphicdesignlounge.com

Is it possible to do this with my presentation or the audio player will be charged in each scene? This would cause the audio charging problem on each page. Any help or suggestions on how to proceed differently would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    Christina

Don't worry, Christina, if the mp3 player is its own movieClip, it will play regardless of the main timeline. Simply ensure that the movieClip is on the timeline in every scene. (Only one review, if you put it on stage in design mode; if you place via actionscript (attachMovie), it is in any case the case automatically).
For your information, the scenes are only logical separations of the main script in Design view; during execution, the scenes are merged. This is often a problem for people waiting for that they are physically separated. In your situation, it's an advantage.
    Good luck

  • Crush the display flashes for 2-3 minutes after that mini mac wakes up from sleep

Crush the display flashes for 2-3 minutes after that mini mac wakes up from sleep

If you have another Thunderbolt cable, plug it into the unused port on the

Thunderbolt Display and then in the Mini and see if the same thing happens.

What you can see is a precursor of the poster, built out of the cable.

At least, it could eliminate a costly repair problem.  Although the cable itself is not

expensive, opening to the top of the screen of TB to replace could be.

Well that not connected on a Mini, I began to see in similar behavior my

iMac, so that there was finally a break in the complete cable.

  • Why the selection of 'never activate' in the menu 'tools' does not stop the Acrobat Flash running when selected?

When the option 'request to activate'-'You Tube' blocks Flash from Adobe, but 'request to activate' is no longer on Yahoo Home Page

Also, I noticed there is an add-on special to control the Adobe Flash Player. Why is there a special module where it can be controlled from the designations of add-on "Tools"? What has changed since the last version of Firefox has been installed
on January 17. With the Adobe Flash has major problems, it's an extremely serious problem.

It is not the computer. Nothing has changed on the computer other than the latest version of Firefox being installed.

    ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

I checked the State once more, and since I returned to the "application activation", I'm going to is no longer the problem mentioned above on Yahoo.

  • Firefox makes me redownload the game flash every time

The problem is probably with the cache.
If I clear it, for a while, everything works fine, but after awhile, when the cache stored on my pc has reached a certain amount (near maximum), this problem reoccur.

Each time compensation and redownloading all are honestly really boring.

Is there a way to make Firefox delete cache longer than a certain amount of time on its own and keep more recent only? Honestly, I use Firefox to play 2 games only, and for some reason, the cache continues to grow even if I do the same thing every time and I find it weird. They are the Japanese Flash games and doesn't seem to work that well on Chrome and I don't use IE if I only use Firefox for these 2 games... I think that how the Firefox cache works is weird...

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
    While you are in safe mode;

Type of topic: preferences #advanced< enter > in the address bar.

    Under Advanced, select General.
Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

Search web sites secure. Are there problems?

    Then restart.

  • Solution: The videos Flash does not not - Win7 w/Comodo Firewall

On a new machine, I have added my desired desired programs. These include Comodo Firewall and Firefox with various plugins and addons (including Adobe Flash Player NoScript, FlashBlock, AdBlock Plus).

I soon discovered that the videos would not play (initially I could see some videos using HTML5, but after some adjustments, they were gone too). I tried MANY suggestions and settings are on various boards of Directors, nothing worked.

I should have learned long ago that I need to document all THE CHANGES, I have in my system - but old habits have life tough. I tried many things, with no written notes. I didn't know what problem prevented the Firefox to play videos. Nothing I've tried has worked. After unsuccessfully, I have reset Firefox (sad to see my custom settings go). When I restarted Firefox with only the plugin Flash Player active, I could not yet play videos.

More follow-up research. Finally, I came across the solution on the Comodo site:

       http://forums.comodo.com/defense-sandbox-help-cis/defense-in-clean-pc-mode-is-blocking-flash-uploader-in-firefox-3612-t64628.0.html;msg459022#msg459022

There, I learned that Comodo Defense + had blocked the Container Plugin Firefox (and Crash Reporter) to run.

I used the following steps to resolve the problem on my system (w/Comodo Firewall 7.0.317799.4142):

       1) Open Comodo Firewall (right-click the Comodo tray icon and select Open)

       2) Select Tasks -> Sandbox Tasks -> Open Advanced Settings

       3) In the "Advanced Settings" Window, select Defense+ -> HIPS -> Hips Rules

       4) Find the entry for Firefox.exe. Right-Click it and Select Edit.

       5) In the Comodo HIPS Rule for Firefox.exe window, select the "Access Rights" tab. Locate the "Run an executable" option. Click the modify link under the "Exclusions" column.

       6) In the "Run an Executable" window, select the "Blocked Files/Folder" tab. Select the plugincontainer.exe entry and right-click -> remove to delete it. Do the same for the crashreporter.exe entry.

       7) Click "OK" on each of the Comodo Firewall widows to save the changes and close the window.

After doing this, videos might play. My next task will be to reinstall my favorite extensions and see if I can get Firefox works as I liked it on my old PC.

I hope this help anyone with a similar setup.

    Thank you.

  • I'm always on Adobe Flash 10.3. The latest version of Firefox will support the last Flash?

I have Windows Vista... For a while, whenever I got a new version of Firefox I tried to upgrade Adobe Flash and in any case it crashed so I stopped to do so. I asked this question to you more than once before and rec have never a response. Saved Flash 10.3, have reinstalled, which left and I go kind of happily on my way. Unfortunately, as you know that there are some videos, I can't access with 10.3. So, that being said... Will be the latest version of Adobe Flash work with the latest version of Firefox?

Wow, I can't believe that you have saved this old version of Flash for so long. If Flash player is crushed you probably had to disable hardware acceleration for Flash Player. Try turning off hardware acceleration.

    1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
    2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
    3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
    4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

    5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
    6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
    7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

With regard to the latest version, Yes. The latest version of Flash works fine on the latest version of Firefox (29.0.1)

  • It would help Firefox make me test the beta flash player on Aurora, since I use click here to read by element?

I use Aurora to help the Mozilla team are working on all the bugs before a FF product is shipped. I can't see the link 'Download the beta flash' right underneath the link to d/l Aurora.

I always wonder if I should install this. My use of the flash is limited, b/c I use click on play by element (extension). In these circumstances, would it be useful Mozilla to have this information in the telemetry reports sent from my browser? Or would use click here to read by element, defeat the purpose of testing the beta version of flash?
