The clock continues to change Windows 7

I have a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate.  The clock continues to change.  The interesting thing is that only the changes of time, not minutes and seconds.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Open the control panel and you check the settings for "Region and language".

    Hello

Time of the Pavilion dv7 - 4078ca Notebook PC operating Windows 8, continues to change at random and contradictory.

Area is correct and if the synchronizing with a time server Internet is active or inactive, time continues to change. After synchronization with a time server Internet, the time is right for a short period, after which the weather changes.

    I can't wait to help.

Unfortunately, you cannot exclude a CMOS battery for bad/failure on a question like that until replace you it in fact. The good news however, is that they are very inexpensive and easy to replace.

I have to change constantly and I also change the synchronization Web site because they did not help. Can some give me a few tips pleaseee?

If your pendulum returns to the BIOS initialization when you turn off your computer. either the motherboard CMOS battery is discharged or failed and must be replaced (in this case, all your BIOS settings will return to default values) or the clock on your motherboard is faulty and you need a new motherboard - or simply reset the clock whenever you restart.

  • Download the file: continue to change the display settings

    Hi all

These days, he continues to be for no reason.
I put the display settings to my download folder. The list, by group type, sort by last modified.
However, without one apparent for this folder, other than asking to display its content, the undisciplined directory view my files in a detailed list with the default sort.

My path to the download folder have been changed from the original.
As my Windows is not in English, the name of path is also different from the display name (don't think that will have an impact as the path name is different from the name in all versions of windows-English).

The setting for the folder is 'General Elements' (in properties/customize).

Does anyone have the same problem before? In my view, is not only in the download folder.
Any idea to fix it? I tried using desktop.ini, because I used to do it a lot before, but nothing has changed in this file, when I tried to change the display using the browser configuration.
As I don't remember the setting of desktop.ini, I looked in the documentation.
    Here: http://hwiegman.home.xs4all.nl/desktopini.html
    And here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/cc144102%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
I changed the setting to 3 Vid == Mod.
As the problem appeared at random times, I do not know if my problem is solved :/

I have of course a question of law in the desktop.ini file.
If anyone has any idea... =)

    I had a similar problem.

Certain way when you change the name of the folder.  He lost the file that held the parameters.

I found that the easiest way is to rename the damaged library, I recommend

"Temp of library".  Then create a new library with the name of the library, in your case downloads.

or whatever you want to call it.

Then in the pane left right click the new library.

And then in the left pane right-click the library damaged, then copy the 'Library locations' by using the 'include a folder"in your new downloads folder.

Close windows Explorer.  Reopen and verify that your settings are as you wish.

You can delete the corrupted library.

  • IP address of the printer continues to change

A large part of the time that my wireless printer is offline compared to computers on my local network, because IP address has been changed to a value other than what the computer thinks it should be.  So I have to figure out what is the IP address of the printer, and then change the printer on the PC port to point to the correct address.  If this happened only rarely, or if I could easily remember the steps I have to take to remedy, I suppose that this would not be a big deal.  But it happens a lot and I am old and alzheimery.  So my question is: How can I get the router to assign the same IP address to the printer, all the time?

I have a LinkSys WRT54G and just updated the firmware to V4.21.1.  I went through all the settings on the router via http://192.168.1.1 but don't see anything that would reserve specific addresses for specific devices.  Is this possible?  I need to have the DHCP Server enabled, because some devices come and go on this network.  Devices that are not controlled by the DHCP server can co-exist with devices that are?

    TIA
    * beep *.

Your printer must have a STATIC IP address, and Yes, the DHCP server on your router remains active.

Open the page of the http://192.168.1.1 router

Go to status then LAN, click the DHCP clients table.

Find the IP address of your printserver.

Now, log in to your printserver page

You can see a static or fixed IP address. Assign an IP address, but not of this range from 100 to 149

  • Hello! I have a problem. The year will suddenly change Windows XP... Sometimes when I start the computer is the year 2095 chnged. What can I do about it?

Why id the year change in windows XP?

    Hi Trubbe,

Start with the setting of the time zone to the time zone where you live. Make sure then that "automatically adjust for DST' is checked.

    For more information, see:

Which will probably fix the problem.

However, here are two other things to consider:

    a. check your "input output system BIOS (Basic)" by going to the configuration to the computer he start.  Make sure that time is also set to what you want to be. Consult the manual for the computer to do the same thing.

NOTE: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from configuration can resolved BIOS/CMOS settings. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    b. make sure you have all the patches of Daylight Savings Time installed.  Since we are in the period that would normally be DST in any case, it is probably NOT part of the question, but it's a good belt/suspenders approach to take.

  • thickness of the line continues to change when im painting

Ok.  So I assume you are using the Wacom driver 6.3.13 - w3 ?  The problem of inconsistent line was mainly associated with the Cinitqs if the memories are good, but I wonder if Windows 10 has complicated matters.

Yes, there is a long thread length on the site of Photoshop feedback and a very recent addition referring to Windows 10, but I'm not recognizing driver versions that he mentions.

If you are unable to address this issue of play with the drivers, try the Lazy Nezumi Protrial version.  It's actually a must for any user of Tablet IMO, and it fixes many problems of drawing as it is the main function to help you produce smooth flowing lines.

  • Windows 8 time continues to change at random

    Hi all

I hope someone can help me with the problems I'm having with my laptop. It's brand new, running Windows 8. Everything works well except the clock. The time continues to change and I'm unable to synchronize with the time Internet. Whenever I try to sync, I get the error message "the peer is not resolved."
I haven't noticed any particular model for how time continues to change, except that if I turn off and turn on again hours later, time has not moved at all of what it was when I turned it off.
I have searched and tried many things, including instructions in this post: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-windows_store/why-windows-store-not-able-to-connect-to-proxy/8c400732-68a1-4875-906a-cae90081dc40. I got the same error message as the user - "no time data is available."
    Any suggestions? Thank you!

  • Video device record to the clock store is not recognized on Windows 8

Original title: Windows 8 video glitch

Windows 8 works well except the storage of the clock of my video recording device is not recognized when I plug in the USB cable.  The same clock works very well with a Windows 7 system.  There is no error message or of any indication of Windows 8 that the unit is plugged.  No driver not supplied with the clock.  Windows 7 lists of storage of the clock as a "generic Compact Flash USB Device".  Apparently the driver compatible with the clock is missing from Windows 8, or there may be another problem.

  • In XP, zone continues to change TSA to CUT

The zone continues to change the time in coordinated universal time. If I try to sync with time.windows.com the I get a message that an error has occurred (not specific). The computer is connected to the internet via a d-link router, but I don't think that is the problem because the other computers on the network are OK and I get the MS updates on this machine OK.

I tried a fix and tried to restore to an earlier point... nothing works.  Is there another setting of time other than through the control panel that could be the substitution of my settings?

Bridge continues to change the selection of the sort each time that I reopen it the Bridge window... WHY?

I continue to get "sort by modified date" but each whenever I open it a window that it is for manual selection.

I searched the preferences but impossible to find something to help.  It didn't used to do this...

    John

Well, I solved the puzzle myself.

I noticed that somehow a stray .psd file was stuck in my side bar of the Mac Finder.  Don't ask me how it got there.

At the beginning I couldn't delete it – until I tried a Mac forum and they suggested I hold down the command key and drag it off... to poof!

    It worked.

And when I went back to bridge - now the bad behavior disappeared!  And when I close the window Bridge and reopen - the choice to "classify" same home!

Yay... it's a small step for me, and one small step for computerkind.
