the commands > clean XHTML... and now the document will not be up-to-date on external server

Please help, it is appreciated. I was faced with a document that had gray out code and not editable. So I followed some advice here to use commands > clean XHTML...

Now it will never update. I have download all the chages again and it never effects of the site. I demolished the file from the remote server, and there all my changes. But it will not change the site (runwiththepack.net) document (index.html)

I have had a warning before I performed the clean up of HTML, but ignored. Can someone give me an idea where to start the search for a solution. I think that the site is running a model off the coast and add these changes to all model-if it exists... Please help

Thanks in advance

Eric

Looks like you might be confused about what do models DW (.dwt files).

Model DW are not used by the server, they are only used locally by DW himself. Download a .dwt the server does nothing for the child pages on your server.

When you change a .dwt file, DW asks to update all the pages associated with it (you might have broken depending on whether the error). When you click "Update" DW changes all child pages associated with the .dwt locally. You then download all of these child changed pages.

The .dwt itself needs to be on the server, if you plan to share it with someone.

If you do not use a .dwt, could you explain your workflow a little more in detail?
