the computer CPU utilization may go back if she attributed to a host in motor?

Hi gurus of Performance.

The computer CPU utilization may go back if she attributed to a host in motor?

Can this be solved by adding an another vCPU virtual machine in the same (supplied with machine)?

The simple answer is Yes, allows to observe an analogy, we have a bucket 5ltr is your CPU, you currently fill this bucket of 1ltr of water.  The bucket also represents your view Taskmanager, it shows average usage by 25%.

Now you move this water in a bucket 2ltr and now your task manager appears average usage by 50%.

> Can this be solved by adding an another vCPU virtual machine in the same (supplied with machine)?

You second question is more problematic, just adding a second processor can increase capacity by 50% but it will not diminish the use of the CPU by 50%, the OS and the applications that are installed on this machine should be aware of SMP.  This is true for physical and virtual environments.  More for a virtual environment, if your host is overcommited that the addition of a second vCPU could reduce performance for this person, because he's going to be challenge for 2 hearts free pCPU whenever it issues a statement to the operating system or an application that supports SMP.

    Hi all!

Try the following steps to identify the problem:

Method 1 : put the computer in safe mode and see if the problem persists:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 2: clean boot

If the problem is not repeated in safe mode then it is likely that a startup item or service is causing the flicker. Follow the steps on the following link to locate the item or service is causing the issue:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Once you hit the nail on the service process / causing the high CPU utilization, you can leave this option unchecked in msconfig and all should be well.

  • Why is my desktop stop often randomly, at all hours of the day and night without prompting even when I use the computer. This is even though I changed the power option setting.

Why is my desktop standby stop so often?

It appeared sometimes several times per day or night. He stops consecutively, at random, at any time of day or night time. Even when I was with the computer, there is no incentive to me. The screen is blank. My computer nevers switch down. It's on 24/7-24 hours and 7 days, 365 days.

    It happened like this:

    1. you can hear the exhaust off the computer fan all of a sudden. There was no incentive. You can hear computer calmed down suddenly. The fan can be seen from the back of the grid of ventilation of the processor of the computer of the metal casing.

    2. the screen monitor suddenly stop. The screen is blank. The indicator light on the bottom of the screen of the monitor is always lit. He showed the monitor screen is on and running.

    3. When you look at the led on the computer, it is still lit. This shows that the computer has on photo and runnig. It is dormant, however.  He showed the computer CPU is entered in mode 'sleep'.

    4. whenever this judgment occurs, I would like to shut down the computer and restart the computer from scratch. I pressed the power button on the computer to stop it.

    5. I then press again the start/stop button to restart the computer, restart the computer, and then when she comes back to life, I clicked to restore sessions, and then I keep using the computer again.

    6. the process of restarting the computer was like that, as stops have been going like that for five months and is always like that, because I have been unable to solve. The point of contact in the power button is not more urgent are frequent.

    7. I changed the VGA cable as I said by a computer hardware that my problem could be due to the VGA cable is old, as in the VGA cable copper wire that feeds on the computer to the monitor screen can be broken or twisted, and so the video signals are not stable to feed the data to the screen of the monitor.

    8. Although I don't think that was the case, as my cable never touched the ground, or cluttered or kick or broken, I still went ahead to change the existing cable 15 pin VGA to 3 years with a new as it was only 3 males - the range of the cheapest I found in the shop costs...

    9. However, even if the VGA cable is changed, the stop is always the same, as before.

    10. on another month, I learned by my friend that I should change the setting in the computer mode 'sleep'.

    11. the new settings made in start/programs/system and Security / Option/power Power Plan/High Performance / 'Turn off display' to 'Never' and 'Put on the eve of the computer' to 'never '.

12 even if I changed the setting of "Balanced (recommended) 'High Performance'" and two high-performance setting has been changed to "Never", the judgment fixed computer sleep mode, and as usual, no warning, the screen of the monitor erased.

    13. it seems the Option "power" and "Power Plan" and "Balanced" or "High Performance" in Windows 7 does not work. Window 7 does not in my computer.

    14. whenever I rebooted and restarted the computer, it is some normal time to see the operating system, repair files stop suddenly, before may be back from normal window of operation conditon.

    15. for more information,.

My computer is not a brand. It was customized and installed. He bought two or three years ago. The use of the 350 GB hard drive is used by 50%. The computer in the past goes to sleep when there is no movement of the mosue for 15 minutes, or when not in use. He wakes up again when there mouse moves to restart the CPU and turn on the monitor screen.

Now, he had problem with this kind of stop suddenly attack never wake up its "sleep" again during the month five, which I believe it was several viruses in the files of e-mail in the past months, and when it is very likely that I downloaded from CNET some cleaners or anti-spyware.  I don't know what problem is.

I then withdrew them a month later of the program/Control Panel / uninstalled program. On the advice of my friend, I then changed version free download AVG.

    16. the information contained in the computer, start/program/computer/properties, gives the following information:

It's Intel Core Due E7500 @ 2.93 Ghz, 4 GB of Ram, 32-bit operating system, windows 7 Home Premium, 2009.

It is a Microsoft Firewall protection and is installed with fre download AVG anti-virus protection. He is shown to start/program/system and security / firewall /- and he said: 'Stat window firewall' is 'on '.

17, finally, with the light of the foregoing, I would sincerely ask the Microsoft community to help solve this problem of closure. I would like to thank all the people in the community who can help me in advance here.

    18. I hope to hear your solutions with you. Thank you.

  • My judgment of the computer during the task execution.

my computer shutdown when you perform this task, the download, scaning my computer with microsoft essentials or the backup of my computer also while making this charge I have my powersaver as ever to stop, but still it shutsdown.befor it shuts down the computer goes into overdrive and a clik noise and it closes and is not becous the computer is hot.

Original title: shut down the computer

The clicks you hear may be a symptom of a faulty fan or a hard drive failed. These two are indicative of a potentially catastrophic incident. I'd get this diagnosed with certainty as quickly as possible.

If the HARD disk fails, you will be able to get the information that it climb in a remote box after installing a new HARD drive and reinstalling everything provide you get this fact before the drive completely fails. The computer and your backup files could only accelerate failure.
I'm curious to know how you know that the shutdown behavior is not due to the accumulation of heat. If you have a CPU fan that is a failure it can take as little as 5-10 seconds after the "by clicking on" begins before a closed thermal is forced. If you have a faulty fan, the heat closed isn't enough to avoid damaging your components of the computer/CPU/motherboard and repeated forced closing of the bottom are harmful to your computer.
If your computer is under warranty, send it to the manufacturer for repair after all product information and program keys off the machine. You will probably be sent back a computer with nothing but a new operating system on it and it is possible that you may not yet retrieve the same computer.
If your computer warranty has expired and you are uncomfortable taking off one of the panels of the case, and try to locate the source of the ' by clicking on '. Get a can of compressed air and blow out the dust. Look for cables or wires that may be resting against the movement of fans and causing the 'click '. If it is a laptop, stop it and remove the battery before performing any adjustment of material and/or any change.

If you are not comfortable "the case of cracking", then any information out on your computer you can (including product keys) and take it to a reputable professional. Stress that you want to a prior notification to any attempt to repair and balance the work estimate against the cost of a new computer.

How can I access my space girls 14 years old, on the main screen on the computer? I assume you have no access to the password for the user of your daughter.  As an administrator, you may open the control panel in Win XP and select user accounts.  The options will allow you to change or remove the password of your daughter.  Then you could sign on behalf of your daughter.
However, who would probably trigger another outbreak of 'bananas', because your daughter will realize that you have changed or deleted her password.  This forum is not how parents react to problems of girl.  However, she is only 14, is YOUR computer and you have good reason to worry about his online activities.

  • Lights up turn of the computer - monitor remains blank

    • About 5 days ago, I was using my computer as usual. I have a game, was talking to some people and play music, everything works fine. Out of nowhere, my screen locked up, I thought he was just a typical gel, so I waited a minute or two while trying things like the Ctrl alt del and alt + tab, none of these things, do nothing at all. To speed up the process, I turned off the computer manually and turned it back. After back on the screen remains empty. When the device is turned on and that everything is working normally, the light on the power button on the monitor to blue. When the computer is not turned on but the monitor is, or when the computer is in "standby", the power button goes orange. After turning on the actual computer monitor screen remained pure black, and that the switch remained orange. The computer itself seems to turn on normally, the green light in the back turns on and remains solid, the two fans inside the Tower lights up and there is the noise of typical general snoring from the computer. Since then, I tried to unplug drain all the power and turn it back on, I reinstalled the RAM, I checked the card plugged into the VGA port has been completely connected (it was a problem in the past after sending in my computer when the VGA port had been fried. The symptoms at the time were essentially the same ones they are now corrected again when an operator HP had me check if this card was plugegd, it was not completely, I pushed it and it worked fine.) Anyway, this time I tried this card verification. I pushed a little more to check if that was the problem, it doesn't change anything. I tried another monitor (with a different cable), that doesn't change anything. My warranty on the computer turns off, so my only way to contact HP for help is with the online chat, and this conversation has done me any good. They had me try all the things I had already tried and then just told to take it into a store.

No, the second port works do not means that the embedded video is disabled. Here's a video explaining how to remove the video card. It has a tab, that you must move to release the card. Scroll down and you will see the different models.

It could still be the video card. Try to remove the card completely and the embedded video. Since your unable to see the screen, you can not enter the bios to see if the edge can be activated but sometimes when the card is to remove the edge can activate itself. If no luck, try another video card.

    Hello Abdulmalik,
Welcome to the Forums of Discussion of the user.
If you are affected by artefacts of green or lines, it is true, it may be hardware related, however, before the search service twords or wipe your entire disk, does occur offline too? or only when streaming. Try to play a DVD from your home library. Do you feel the green bars or blurred image?

If you only experience this problem when viewing online, connect with LAN cable instead of wireless and see if the distortion disappears, you may experience buffering problems. If all the videos online or off is cause your graphics problems, make sure your CPU fan is clean.

  • Need help with a warranty issue, but can't take the computer back to the shop

    I have the following problem:
I'm a backpacker and bought a Toshiba A660/15j someone in Adelaide. I have the original receipt and the laptop is still under warranty.
Now 2 issues have been raised. First of all, I sometimes get a message that my system runs too hot and that I should stop the computer immediately and return to the service. When I open the monitor health all values are good and the system does not display any overheating (nor does it feel too hot). The second thing is that about two weeks ago, the battery started to empty real quick. When I now fully recharge the battery and do not touch the computer for 2 days, it will be completely empty. It is surely not normal!

The laptop was bought initially in Queensland, but I am now in Perth and have no way to go back and return to the store like it what I have to do according to the directives of service Toshiba.

    What can I do?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hello

There may be a build-up of dust in the radiator. You can buy a can of compressed Air from electronic stores (DickSmith and Jaycar for example) to blow dust through the vents.

What about the battery drain, update the BIOS to the latest version (take a look at mytoshiba.com.au-> Support-> downloads), then go into BIOS by pressing F2 during POST and disable the USB Sleep and fresh.

If you still have problems with it, you can send the laptop to a Toshiba repair center. There is a list ASP on mytoshiba.com.au

  • error mess. No supported cpu and the computer turns off

I have a hp p6210y.  I took my computer and looked at herself, and the guy told me that my motherboard was likely bad.  He told m that the motherboard of the computer are bad and he advised to do not to buy a new one because it will go as bad.  My motherboard is a pegatron m2n78 - la.  It has an AMD athlon ii 620 quad-core. Well, I found one on ebay for about $100.  After that I put the new one where said pegatron m2n78 - la on it like that old one does.  I did put in the new processor.  The only different thing I noticed was as soon as I put on it instead of hp compaq said.  I'm a noob to all this.  The first I guys I listened to said that it was the hard drive and it has not fixed this is why I had in the type of computer and started to do myself.  Its been a learning experience for me if I look at the positive side of everything.  But now I have an extra hard drive new (seagate sv35.5 500 GB) sitting on my desk. Do I have to get a power cord with it also. I have the sata cable or whatever.  or I can run 2 hard drive at the same time.  Thank you very much

FYI... simply because the replacement motherboard has "M2N78 - LA" printed on it, does not mean that it is the same as your original plate. HP has a least 4 different motherboards all models "M2N78 - LA" but named Viola, Violet, Violet3 and Violet6. These motherboards can support different processors, socket, extension and ports of i/o slots back.

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p6210y and its M2N78-(purple) motherboard. Please make sure that the motherboard is good. Given that HP sells computers under the names of the HP and Compaq, you may see Compaq or HP screens 'splash' at the start of the brand. Although this should not affect the operation of the computer, the lack of good 'tattoo' can prevent you from using your recovery disks.

Computer blocks once the fan CPU runs at max speed. Initially, the computer would occationally freeze after waking up from sleep mode (CPU fan would be occaionally operate at full speed & freeze the system).  Now cannot load even in windows. It freezes at the configuration of the BIOS once the fan turns at speed computer crashes if the CPU fan run at maximum speed wherever you are!

    1. I did the cleanning & lubrication & even take the battery to reset the Bios but no success too.

(Before I can reset the Bios it will run normally.)

    2. remove all USB devices except the mouse & keyboard

    3. detach & attach Ram memory & graphic card

I saw a ROM_Recovery shunt on the motherboard label. Must I do? or can someone help, please?

I sent to the center of HP service after a week, the service staff telling me that he was unable to go bad because my motherboard is the American version, which I have no idea what it means (my PC was purchased locally) but to bring him back.

I solved my problem of tried to detach the Rams (2 actuators) & install only 1 on an another RAM slot first. This works. Then installed the second RAM on an another slot also without no problems so far.

I have an old HP Office also having the location of the faulty RAM & also had replaced graphics card but it raise a peep sound error which easier to identify.

I agree with you more HP, hardware problem is due to RAM or video card. Thanks anyway

After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?

    Hi KevinRy,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    Unplug all external devices.

Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:

    1.

Right-click my computerand then click Properties.

    2.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    3.

Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.

    4.

Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.

    5.

Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.

Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.

Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.

    Kind regards

I did a reinstall of my OS to Windows XP.  Now, every time I turn on the computer, or restart, I get the following message appears on a black screen (BACK):

(I use the quotes to the messages from the computer).

"Choose the operating system to start".

"Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" (this option is highlighted)

"Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" (repeated).

"Use the top and down arrow keys to move the selection of your choice."

    "Press ENTER to choose."

"Seconds until highlighted choice will begin automatically."  (There's a digital countdown to 25 to zero... and the computer continues normally)

"For advanced troubleshooting startup options and for Windows, press F8."

If I press the key "enter", with the first option highlighted, the computer will resume as usual.  But I've never met this before start screen.

How can I get the computer to restart normally without stopping on this screen?
