• Why not FF 3.6.24 write 'Close tab' in the Console log?

  Whenever I get close a tab (a few seconds thereafter) Firefox 3.6.24 wrote the following line to the console system (OS X) log:

  . org.Mozilla.Firefox [7254] close-tab tab

  Curious. Why?

  This is caused by the "DownloadHelper" version 4.9.8 Firefox addon.

  Line dhCore.js 819, there was this statement:

  dump ("close tab-"+ event.target.tagName+"\n" ');

  In case you're curious, any Javascript can print messages in console.log using the dump() function, and any addon can cling in browser events like tabs are closed.

  You can safely comment this out by prefixing the line with "/ /" (without the quotation marks), and then restart Firefox. I also raised a bug with the developer of the addon: http://bugzilla.downloadhelper.net/show_bug.cgi?id=405

  Hi, I use console.log in my QML app to do some debugging.

  the problem is, I don't see any output.

  I put the conf of generation of the device debugging and I also use debugging

  Then I look in the console windows and see nothing.

  It shows all the newspapers, entries for the same console.log () of Javascript.

  On every few minutes, I get a hundred lines of messages in the console log.

  What causes them and is there anything I can do to fix all these?

  I found mdworker messages are for mds_stores damean for projector which was unaware of the spotlight exclusion list (all HD on Mac) and consumed nearly 600 MB. I found the command, sudo mdutil - a-i off < cr >, enter the admin password, to stop the process, and mds_stores goes back to 175 MB. Apparently, there is a gap between the projector and mds_stores.

• always uninstalled in the console program

  Hi all

  I have a MacBook mid 07 running OS X worm. 10.7.5.

  Problem is I uninstalled a program of online syncing called Mozy and something is still trying to execute it according to the console log.  photo attached.   I reinstalled and removed two times and the same result.  using CleanApp for deletion.

  Any ideas how I can find and delete everything that tries to run the program that is no longer there?

  It is not completely uninstalled just by deleting the app. He has other installed files, you must locate and remove.

  Some software uses demons start or agents which are a new feature of the operating system.  Look for them in/library/LaunchAgents/Library/LaunchDaemons/or in/Home/Library/LaunchAgents /.

  If an application installs all the other files that the best way to find them is to search for Finder using the name of the application or the name of developer as a search term.  Unfortunately, Spotlight look in certain default folders.  You can change the behavior of Spotlight or use a third-party, EasyFindsearch utility, instead.

  Some applications install a reception in the folder/library/receipts /.  Usually with the same name as the program or the developer.  The element typically has an extension ".pkg".  Do not forget that you also remove this element because some programs use to determine if it is already installed.

  The thing is that I have no problem running any software I can load plugins (component) I get warnings from the console on. Do I need to worry about this.

  It's probably a third incompatible plug-ins. try to remove it. Please DO NOT publish a newspaper EtreCheck unless someone asks. You may be able to load plug-ins, but they can still be incompatible, therefore, errors of the Console. Some hardware/software you use, you should quit and detach. • Dreamweaver freezes every morning, the console shows he's going through all my fonts?

  I have to admit that I don't know what that means, or what to do about it? Anyway, usually I force - quit Dreamweaver and after that it works fine (as fine as Dreamweaver is usually the case, at least).

  A note on the side - here at the office, we use Universal Type Client of Extensis font management.

  Any help? Good ideas? Lucky guesses? ;-)

  We have checked the issue & looks like DW starts scanning all Extensis font at startup. We are studying it.

  In the meantime, it would be great if you can file a bug here. This will help us to give priority to it based on the number of requests from users.

  Real: The log file is open in an editor. Whenever the file is changed, a popup appears asking if the content needs to be recharged (unusable)

  It sounds like such a simple question, but I can't find an answer anywhere.  everyone assumes it will be considered in Firebug or what have you.

  I would like to be able to see the output of console.log in DW, but do not know if this is even possible, let alone what window to open it to see.  I tried all the and no luck.

  I'm under DW cs5.5, btw.  and TIA.

  Save firebug.  Open it in DW.  I suspect you want interactive access to it, however.  I don't know how to get that.

  4. then I run the commande./xlclient.sh
  6. once I had the window to connect to designconsole... .but I had the problem at this stage (id user and password are correct)

• Logging on to the console

  My company is currently using Adobe Document Server.  We are looking to upgrade to LiveCyle ES.  The biggest problem we have with the document server, is that when installed on a server, the user must stay connected to the console or the product does not work.  This correction with LiveCycle?

  Please also note that, unlike Adobe Document Server, LiveCycle requires a J2EE such as IBM WebSphere, Red Hat JBoss or WebLogic Oracle appserver.

• Why a search of the console finds not all instances?

  For a long time, I used the Console to track my start and stop times to fill out a time sheet company. Since I upgraded to El Capitan (certainly of 10.6.8) research in console are totally reliable.

  I have a query log saved to the content of the 'Got boot device' message that usually gives me a list of departure times.

  A query saved to 'stop' or ' stop of "me gives stop times.

  But both strange, these searches find nothing. Today, for example, my first search captured all my time Starter for the past two weeks, but the second search returns only results from a week at the back. WHY? Paging trudged through all messages brings back me beyond that point in journal entries that meet the search criteria, but today the saved query is just ignorant.

  What gives? I never had this kind of behavior laminated with previous incarnations of Console.

  Is there an easier way to get a list of start and stop times?

  You can use Terminal and the 'last' command (without quotes) for a list of the connection history.

  

  It gives the date, the start - finish time & duration, time closed parentheses.
