The controls/Officejet Pro Office lost more than 8600

I lost the ability to contol my printer in my office. Until recently, when I clicked on my HP printer shortcut

window opens with my controls, including the Device Manager button. Now that the button has disappeared and the only

the options that remain are: see what's printing - customize your printer and set the preferences. I tried to unplug

the printer and the desktop. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the software with no luck. I am running Windows 7.

Would be grateful for help if someone knows this problem well. Thank you.

You are welcome.

    (3) remove the power cord at the back of the printer (make no press the power button)

    4 wait 60 seconds or more, then plug the power cord into the printer

    (5) wait for the printer to turn completely, and then install the ink cartridges

    (6) try to print an alignment page

    "If these steps do not resolve your problem, please follow this entire document from HP to a ' alignment failed ' Error Message appears on the all-in-one.

However, when I copy it, the entire document is printed. I was looking for, if I could change this on the officet, or the system of preferences on my mac, but couldn't find anything on the 8500. Scanning directly from the Officejet comes in very handy when the digitization of books, with one hand, I have to push it and the iMac is not in reach of the officejet...

  • OfficeJet Pro L7780 lost the ability to duplex print

    Just applied the 'Solution' for a digitization apparently resulting from 8.1 Windows upgrade problem.  So now I can scan once again (Yes!).

    But now I can not apply the ability to automatic printing on both sides.  When I try to configure the printing preferences for duplex printing, I get this error message:

    "Address of the 0x5b71c880 function caused a protection fault.  (code 0xc0000005 exception)

    The application property sheet pages may not work properly. »

    And when I try printing duplex installation features page I get an error of "Incompatible print settings.

    How can I get this feature back?

    Hi @jk13921 ,

    Thanks for the reply!

    I have more than a few suggestions for you to accomplish all the Windows updates and then, if necessary, to perform a level 3 Uninstall to remove all of the printer software and driver and reinstall.

    1. perform all the updates of Windows, including all those in option too: Windows Update

    2 Uninstall (level 3) HP Officejet Pro software and driver removal utility

    3 reinstall using the printer HP install wizard for Windows

    I hope this helps!

    Kind regards

  • Pro more than 8600 copies and put the output in reverse order

    8600 pro more

    When copying this outputs printer copies back to order before.  Is it the way it is supposed to work?

    Hello columbia530

    It is because the printer copies since the ADF Document (CAD) using first of all in the first page of the document. If the top of the page (usually the first page unless the document is already reversed) is copied everything first and thus ends up on the bottom once all pages are copied.

    However, the series Officejet Pro 8600 has the ability to scan all the pages and then print from the last page. The option is called 'Collate' and you should find it in the copy settings. Just turn it on and start the copy.

    can anyone help? After reinstalling vista and by then setting automatic updates, I find after the download and installation of updates that I "lost" more than 10 GB on my drive hard, why is that?

    Updates must be stored somewhere, and installed somewhere 10 GIG is in the normal range.  Did you do a disk cleanup?

    have you saved or set a restore point?  It has been a decade since I used Vista, but I think that any time you install something made Vista a restore point.

  • My HP officejet pro 8500 has more - will print from my laptop, but not by the desk top

    When was the last time the devices were power cycled?

    I recommend an oil change of the full power of the system:

    Unplug the router when turned on

    * Wait 30 seconds

    * Connect Router and wait for it to reboot completely

    * Reboot the computer after the powers of the router to the top

    Unplug the printer when turned on

    Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall outlet

    * Wait 30 seconds

    * Plug the printer back to

    Try to print now that everything has been updated.  If the unit still does not print, then get the IP address of the printer.  This can be achieved in the Setup Menu > wireless Menu.  Check the IP address which seeks the printing software.

    * Click Start menu on PC

    * Select all programs

    * Select the HP folder

    * Select the folder for the HP Officejet Pro 8500 a A910 series

    * Select update the IP address

    Also check the information contained in the document located here.  Let me know how it goes.

  • Cyan is not printing on HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more - Air bubbles in the ink tubes

    Hi all

    I know why cyan is not printing.  It is because of the following:

    Ago, I ran out of ink cyan printing ("please replace cyan before continuing").  I live in a remote area and was not able to buy a replacement cyan cartridge, so I read on a hack on the Internet, that was to fool the printer into thinking that the cyan cartridge remained inside ink (just basically restricting the measure gauge so that it read the Full cartridge).  I did it because I had a print document that requires only the black ink, so I knew that this wouldn't be a problem.  Then life happened and I completely forgot my little shortcut, and my wife printed a number of color photos.  I finally had time to cartridges, and I now understood that cyan is not print at all.  I have now opened up the printer and realize that the cyan ink tube is full of bubbles...

    I tried to fix this by printing A4 pages that are for the most part, cyan, but without success.  I even tried to put pressure on the ink cartridge cyan in order to flood the cyan ink tubes - also, it does not work.  I read somewhere that there is a way to actually get some printers to pump tubes with ink, is - it possible on the Officejet Pro 8500 has more?

    Of course, I did all the tools that are pre-set to the arsenal of 8500, but still no luck.

    I know I'm in the situation I am purely because I don't use the device as intended, and people that no one is to blame but me, but I'd appreciate any help you could provide.

    Thank you

    John

    John, looks like you have a problem with the ink system. Unfortunately, what it looks like happened here, is that your ink nozzle, tubing and probably-print head have put dry for cyan. Work around is pretty neat, but it really is only recommended for a very temporary solution. If the ink has dried in the piping, but elsewhere in the printer then can be a decent chance that this printer will be not likely reprint the cyan. You can try to run the automatic cleaning process (up to three times I would say) via the Tools menu in the Setup (the wrench).

    In addition, I'm not sure that this will be a question that has a simple resolution. Apologies, John.

  • Problems with the operation of the Second paper tray - HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more

    I just bought a second paper cartridge for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more. It shows up on my printer paper tray 2.  However, I can't understand how to go between the paper trays to get items to print from the individual trays.  A choice should not result when I click on PRINT?  Or if I should not be able to set up a default tray for printing on letter size, but be able to change in the other side, when I want to print an envelope?

    I will be happy to help you with this problem.

    The 2nd test is an accessory. It is not downloaded in the drivers. You will need to do the 2nd tray DEFAULT tray for stationery. Go to your settings on the printer. Choose Preferences and go to the default tray.

    The envelopes and any other type of paper in addition to the letter will be put in TRAY 1.

    Let me know how it goes.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a: Officejet Pro 8500 has more ADF will not work

    like others, I have this problem.  In fact I do not use the ADF very often and this kind of ignored her, but today, that I needed so decided to try to fix it.  I tried most of the fixes here and the first did nothing, but trying to look at this, I decided to put the paper in the ADF, then open the cover and look to see what happened.  My God, he started work.  I let go a bit and then started to lower the lid.  Heck, he stopped.  Essaye tried again, stopped again that I dropped the lid.  Did that a few times and then being qualified professionally I have the fix engineering, a slight slap on the far side of the adf, as on the back of the printer.  Now, my God, it was only half an hour, but the thing works.  Put three leaves there very well.

    If my thoughts are that some switch or sensor is loose or slightly stuck somehow, and that's the question.  Looking at what others have done, I epxect that they opened and closed the lid several times, because it a bank in the meantime or in the process, and perhaps it's her.  Probably HP guys could tell us what it is?

    Hello @billfern,

    I understand that you were familiar problems of automatic document feeder on your HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more e-All-in-One Printer and after trying to solve the problem, you have found that when you lower the scanner the paper process would stop. I'm happy to hear that you were able to solve this specific problem by giving a bit of a slap to the printer. This certainly isn't a standard troubleshooting step, but one that I saw set a number of different problems!

    In your case, I agree that there is a sensor or roller conflict occurring which is at the origin of the book of power question. This may be due to a defect of the real hardware or a programming problem. In all areas of document feeder, it is not so simple. There are many variables that can affect the document feeder Assembly. Some problems occur after crossing the media statement incorrect Assembly or an overload of the Assembly. Other problems occur if a part in the tray is physically broken. And some points can be caused by a programming problem. However, in all cases, if the charger is faulty a replacement of the entire unit would be necessary that the tray is not a replaceable part.

    It is never a bad idea to update the programming on your machine. Even if your specific Officejet works at the present time, I would recommend sending the last update of the Firmware to it. You can download and run the update of the Firmware by clicking on here.
