Go to http://get.live.com and start the download and see if you get the companion and then can just uncheck all others adverse (unless you want it, some of these apps are decent).

  I have 2 users who access the same e-mail account and they need to know if an email was read by the other person so work don't get duplicated.

  I assume you are using IMAP. Probably the easiest solution is to create two folders: one for person1 and person2. So when one of them reads and acts on an e-mail, they can move to the Inbox to their own folder. This way you still have emails, but do you know who worked on all of them.

  You realize that Thunderbird is software running on your PC and no one but you can change anything about it don't you. If I can offer any information about the link parameter or unused accounts.

  The interface is tabulated, if you close the tabs when you with individual mail, that you have to scroll nothing. As is the case, click with the right button on a tab and choose close other tabs in the menu.

However, when no particular mailbox is selected (when you view the Inbox combined for example), it is the default account.   Changing the order of the mailbox makes no difference. There is a preference that would allow me to have all new messages come from a certain account, but I don't want that. I want to its default value of the box running mailbox if it exists. I want to just change the value by default when there is no current mailbox selected.

  Mail > Preferences > accounts (select your main account) > account number > AccountType IMAP 'email address '.

  In your list of aliases move to the top of the list, your primary e-mail address.

• See primary e-mail profile (account) is not at the top of the records, only local folders pane, unable to auto receive.

  TB V - 24.4.0, Win XP32, fired from OE to the CT today on the friends system is about to run Win 7 64. Original e-mail account is lequipetv.fr and it was able to import all the mail and setting of address book correctly in TB. However, at the top of the pane of the records of the CT, his main account is not listed, only local files. When I sent a test email to his account, he has not received so I tried to click on the "Get Mail" button above the pane folder without success. Next to the right of the "Get Mail" button is a drop down and when I open, I see 'download all new messages at the top and his main account (complete address) below. Now when I click on his email in this button, his hand began to populate fine. Looks like the main profile (account) is not the default value and after 3 hours of reading tips, support, help files, etc... at my wits end trying to get it setup correctly if I can back it up with Mozbackup and restoration on the new system. I would like to include a screen shot, but could not find an option to do so at the moment, another question? Thanks in advance.

One last question, I don't like having the pane complete message for security reasons, but when I go into this display/page/Message pane and uncheck it on every screen, every time that I reopen it TB, it gives the message pane on. • Mail: Sent to the mailbox for a single account keeps endangered - solution?

  Changed an old POP account on an IMAP account. All the server parameters are supplier; prefs are set to keep receipts and sent emails on the server forever.

  When I added the IMAP mail (after removal of the POP version) account, the Inbox has well migrated from the server. The box sent, maintains however, disappear. It was never populated from the server (I assume) because it was never added to the list of the other sent mailbox. I can make it appear by sending an e-mail from this account, but it disappears again within seconds or ost a minute or two.

  Any suggestions on fow to solve this problem, or at least fix this?
