The diagnostic image not found on your computer

We had this HP computer for about 3 weeks and I tried to create a backup disk according to the instructions for "tune up your computer.  I get the same error message "the diagnostic image is not found on your computer.  Please contact HP support.  Our computer is HP x 2301-suggestions anyone?

OK, I found the desktop HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1250a.

You must have HP Vision Hardware Diagnostic Tools installed on the computer when you bought it. With it, you can make the Diagnostics bootable cd.  Search for HP Vision diagnostic material in your programs on the start menu. Or you can type it into the search box of the start menu and it will appear if installed.

If it is not installed or you think you may have removed it it can be re installed using the Recovery Manager.

  • Serial number you provided is valid, but a product of the home is not found on this computer

I bought and followed the instructions to download for Adobe Acrobat Standard XI - I went to open using the icon on my desktop and it gave me the error "serial number you provided is valid, but a product of the home is not found on this computer.

I then assumed that mabey, I had not downloaded correctly or finished downloading, so I followed the instructions, again and always got the same message

    Why? How to solve this?

You have purchased a version upgrade.

Only, you are eligible for an upgrade if you already have a valid serial number for Acrobat 9 or Acrobat X.

If you do not have a serial number Acrobat 9 or X then you are not eligible for the upgrade. You must return the upgrade, you have bought and pay for a full version instead.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/return-cancel-or-change-order.html

When you click on the button buy top defaults to I want to buy: update.

You must then manually change in "Full" (or if you buy an upgrade, you must select an option of "I have")

You leave on upgrade and then select an option in the drop down "I have", then complete your purchase without realizing that you were not eligible?

    Greetings,

I installed updates in my Windows 8.1 partition.  Then he asked me to restart the computer, and the message "we could not finish updates, exchange loss, do not turn off your computer" appeared and was on-screen for hours.  I thought to reinstall bootcamp but I have software in the Windows partition that cannot be recovered.  I read that one of them starts Windows in 'Safe' Mode, but this is not possible. I use a MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, early 2015) OS X 10.10.5

Apparently this fix only works if your language is set to us English. It failed on my own with the British English language. I replaced the file c:\windows\winhlp32.exe with this forum post and all is well. I found it easier to use the great unlocker utility to rename the existing version.

    Hello

-What is the exact error that you receive when trying to install updates?
-You are aware of any changes made on the computer before this problem?

Method 1: I suggest trying to install the patch and also to try the steps mentioned in step 2 in the " WORKAROUND " section from the link mentioned below to check if the number perissts.
Restore description of the backup of Windows NT to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

    Method 2: Clean Boot Mode
I suggest to keep the computer in clean boot mode and try to install the updates then check if the problem persists.
A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to configure the computer to boot:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the troubleshooting steps, see the link to start to set up the computer in normal clean startup mode.

  • My computer is stuck in "configuration updates: stage 3 of 3 0% complete.". Do not turn off your computer. It restarts just over and over again with the same message.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Windows Vista, and I have tried the following to fix my endless reboot with the "Configuring updates: stage 3 of 3 0% complete.".  Do not turn off your computer. »

    • I inserted the cd 'Réinstallation DVD Windows Vista', but it won't pop up any kind of prompt for me to do something with it.  I tried putting the cd in what was on the computer and tried leaving him in and restart it - but the cd has no EFFECT.
    • I used the F8 key and I tried the following with no luck: safe mode, safe mode with network, safe mode w / command prompt, enable logging, last known good configuration (Advanced) boot and debug mode.  Most of these options make the monitor off (to make you think he will do something), then it just restarts and did the thing reboot loop again and again.
    • I also tried the repair your computer option to the F8 key.  He asks me to log in as an administrator (but my password does not work).  So, I use the menu drop down and choose the name of my computer and then use my password, and I can connect to "restoration of access options '.  Once I'm in the "System Recovery Options".  I tried the following with no luck: Startup Repair tool, restore the system, Windows complete PC Restore, Windows Memory Diagnostic tool and command prompt.  THE only ONE that I HAVE NOT YET TRIED it IS THE "DELL FACTORY IMAGE RESTORE", it's because I want to try to fix it without losing everything on my hard drive.  Here are the details of the I've tried in the "System Recovery Options".
    • The command prompt says: 32 X:\Windows\system > (I have no idea how to use it, but it's what he says)
    • The memory diagnostic tool reboots the computer, but nothing new happening (just reboot over and over again)
    • In the PC restore full Windows: I tried to put the Windows Vista CD in, but it can not find a valid backup location
    • When I click on the system restore: it is said: "no restore points were created on your computer's system disk.  To create a restore open system protection point.  When I click on the system protection, it is said: "your computer is running in a limited diagnostic State.  If you use the system restore in this limited State, you can't undo the restore operation.  Help topics are not available in this State. "  So I press OK, and I'm back to square one.
    • When I click on startup repair: it says "Startup Repair could not detect a problem.
    • I know there are many many posts on this problem, and I think I've tried all the suggestions on how to solve the problem, but they do not work for me.
