The gel program monitor

Hi, I just opted for first CC and struggled with the gel program monitor. I am editing the R3D 5 k files and so I set to 1/8 playback quality. But whenever I'm trying to move towards the top of the image, the screen freezes completely. Everything else works, but I have to restart the first to get an image on the monitor of the program. Is there a setting that I could change to avoid this problem? Answers are appreciated!

Have you tried to change the rendering engine to see if that helps? I I-frame only MPEG is a good preview format.

I don't know if the icon is defined as invisible somehow (see photo), or if there is a simple way to get to show that I'm missing, but if you are looking for a solution, I could not find where the Panel menu is missing at first?

I use Premiere Pro CC 2015 on a PC.

Please let me know if anyone knows a way to make it appear

  • The first program monitor freezes

Hi, I use first and after 10 minutes, the program monitor suddenly freezes. I can't press the play button. I can select clips on the timeline, access the menu, import a film, move the cursor, but cannot press the play button. If I wait 5 minutes I can press play again, but that there is only sound and the image on the monitor of the program becomes red (like the 100% red color).  After windows restarts takes it place problem after 10 minutes. My pc ram and processor are used by 10%, and I use the SSD for images.

So I just reinstalled first and realized that I have did not have the latest version. I have the last cc first I opened the project and waited until that all the media has been loaded.

And now all adobe first freezes...  I can only use ctrl alt delete to close...

Should I format my pc everything? I use windows 8.

I understand what caused the problem. It was a corrupted file footage

  • Monitor source and the stopped program monitor display anything

    Hey there,

I am a user of CS6 Production Premium and serious difficulties here: I'm working on a large 1080 p AVC-Intra50 project for a client who is scheduled next Monday. I am close to completion, but a couple of days, the arrested source video display monitor. It would still show a that I loaded into a clip, but as soon as I have read, the source monitor just went black. The clip played well and you can listen to. Not as big problem, I thought and simply used the program for playback monitor. But yesterday, it's the same thing with the instructor of the program as well. But not only: even the stills have now disappeared. Both monitors remain dark permanently, even if playback and the sound still work. So I'm curious and I tried different materials and different projects: JPEG, AVCHD, DNxHD files, even, nothing shows up on two monitors, regardless of the resolution. Yet, everything works fine on my laptop.

Then I completely uninstalled all of the Creative Suite, used the Clean Script several times, including reboots, deleted all the files of the remaining user and windows directories and updated all my hardware to the latest drivers. Nothing. Both monitors remain black and useless. Not changed anything to my configuration of Adobe, nor my hardware or software configuration while this error occurred. I searched the web for hours and I'm completely at the end of my mind. Any suggestions?

    My system:

    Windows 7 x 64

    Intel Core i7 2600 k

    8 GB RAM

    ATi 6870

BTW: I had to reinstall Windows. Which corrects the problem. Seems to be a weird problem of Adobe vs Windows deep inside the system.

  • I can't get the subtitles to appear on the program monitor

    Hello

I watched a lot of videos and used several Adobe Tutorials but I can't see my subtitles on the monitor of the program (the monitor in the upper right corner.  This is called the correct program monitor?).  I created the CC from scratch and that they are correctly placed on the timeline.

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

the default caption closed in the project bin is a type and another type is the default caption closed in the program monitor.

for subtitling the show, is the type of closed captioning.

Sorry I can't be specific, if I leave things in the memory will be too confused - I'm just failing to launch the first at this time to specify exactly, but match your closed captioning (change the type of monitor to show)

  • Edit 'Play' in the new port monitor?

Since the 7.1 update connection monitor was wrapped in the program monitor.  This has worked well for me except in the case of the 'Play Around' to change the function.  In the window "Port monitor" previous, I could twist a clip, do with the function of 'Play Around', tweak, view, tweak, view, tweak, etc..  Now whenever I use the 'Play Around' feature, it does the job, but at the same time, it pulls me on the monitor connector and in the regular program monitor.   So now if I want to experiment with an editing tool, it adds an extra step to the process... Enter monitor connection, twist, finds out, enter (again) connection monitor, twist, finds out, enter (again) connection monitor, twist, view, etc..

As I am fine-cut a series of changes that require a lot of corresponding action, this additional step adds a considerable amout of time to my work flow (even by using the keyboard shortcut to get back into the connector monitor)... I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and knows a work around?

    Thank you

I'm not sure I understand.  The space bar now committed the playing functionality that repeats until stopped, around how automatically return you to the mode normal trim.  You get out of the mode pad again hit the T, uncheck the edit point or by moving the ICT in the sequence.

It's pretty brilliant and effective, I think.

  • The program monitor shows only half of the picture

Hi I'm new in preview, for some reason any when I open a photo in the program monitor, it shows that half of the picture, straight cut, in the Center (see below). I used to be able to see the entire photo and add the title and text to it.

what setting should I bring back to normal?

    2016-10-05.png

The first thing I would look at is the Sequence of parameters - click, on the top menu and ensure that the settings are - post a screenshot please. Your program monitor looks like a size extra-large, much wider than the standard ratio 16:9 HD or 4 K.

The setting sequence is the basis for everything in your project - if it's wrong to start, all you will be affected later.

Once you have a correct adjustment sequence you are satisfied, still images or video clips you want to use may not be the same dimensions/dimensions you chose for your sequence (such as 1080 p which is 1920 x 1080 pixels). You may have a still picture with larger dimensions, and then it will appear cropped as you currently see as its size does not match sequencing. Think of it as the photo was too big for a picture frame.

As Jim mentioned, you can use the effect Adobe path across the source to fit, however it can be quicker and easier to simply with the right button of the image on the timeline, and then select define framework - this will automatically go to the media in your sequence.

  • First CC - the program monitor goes black after a few minutes

    Hello

    I have the following problem:
After 5-10 minutes, the program first DC monitor (2015) becomes black. The sequence and any remains intact, I can still do everything, but it does not show on the program monitor. When I restart first nothing is deleted or changed in any way that I myself.

    Technical information:
I use Windows 8.1, 12 GB of RAM on 2 TB of free space on my hard drive and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 650.

I would be very happy if anyone of you could help me with this problem because it's really in the way of my workflow to restart every few minutes.

    -Clara

Thanks for all the help, but fortunately, the problem disappeared after the new update and I hope it stays like that.

  • The program monitor randomly goes black

First Pro CC uses for months and no problem.  All of a sudden, the program monitor goes black, then back over video transitions between clips, then goes black again.

I have a HP workstation, with a processor of xenon 12-core, 32 GB RAM, 9 TB of disk storage hard (the first 1 TB flash), blazing fast dedicated with a ton of video memory video card.  It's worked wonders for 12 months and with all the other products Adobe (Photoshop, Lightroom) and hundreds of other programs.  I have NOT changed any video card or video processing settings.   I don't have a hardware problem - it is a problem with Adobe first Pro CC.

I spent the maximum money on the hardware and the software more later/better (even though I hate paying a subscription for software).  And now this...   Moreover, I understand now and still not a bug, but when the screen goes black in a video software - well, it's like losing your direction while on the highway - it's sort of IMPORTANT - wouldn't you say Adobe?

I'll scream at Adobe on Monday, but have a serious work that must be done this weekend.

Is there any help that works?

You use the latest versions (which numbers?) of Adobe CC?

    Try resetting the workspace.

Try to update or restore your video driver.

Try to remove the media cache files.

    Try resetting preferences.

  • Where is the drop-down menu which will distribute choose me multi cam to open different cams in the program monitor?

  • Different sizes of resolution between the Source monitor and program monitor

    Hi guys!

Newbie here-sorry in advance. The size of resolution replaces my source monitor monitor of the program to the point where its very large in the program monitor and the image stays that way when exporting... What I am doing wrong?

If all the clips are from the same camera, you make a new sequence that is correct, then put all your clips in it and change. You are simply based on this first clip sequence settings to lay the foundations for your project.

If you have snippets of a few different types, such as 1080 p and 720 p, then you must decide on a workflow that suits your needs. If the final result must be distributed to 1080 p, you high-end 720 p content, but end result must be 720 p, better off to reduce the content in 1080 p. It depends on different factors.

    Thank you

  • Format change in the program monitor

    Hello

I don't know what happened - but somewhere over my editing that the program monitor has changed to a standing position (as I filmed with an iPhone stand). I can't find where I can change the settings back to 'normal' - if anyone can help a beginner in Premiere Pro?

My only solution now is to start a new project and make the film...

It is the sequence settings that alter the size and shape of the program monitor. Take a look at the title sequence / sequence, the size of the pixel settings should be the same images of you, if you are on CC, you should be able to change the settings if necessary.

  • The resizing problem on Windows PC program monitor

I am moving from Mac to PC to my video editing and have encountered a problem when I resize the program monitor. When I resize the window, the video is not resized and the widow as it did before. Now it becomes cut off as I increase the size of the widow, and I only see part of it with a lot of black, taking up most of the window. Does anyone know what causes this?

    Hello

You can try the following steps:

Open the first, click file > project settings > general and select "Software Only Mode" under Video renderer.

    Click Ok > delete previews.

    Hope this helps

  • Export lack contrast compared to the program monitor

First of all; I'm running on Windows 10 first CC 2015.1 and using a GPU Nvidia GeForce Ti GTX750. I use Dell U2412M twins IPS monitors that are calibrated using a Spyder4Pro.

Any codec I export to it always seems to be the same discrepancy between what displays the program monitor (as well as the preview to export) and video after export. I used VLC, the native Windows! 0 Reader (film & TV), Quicktime and HTML5. I have all these images will appear less saturated and lacking in contrast. Play exported images on an other machine parts, even relatively faded image.

I've been reading a lot of posts on this topic, seems to be a common problem, and try to find a solution that works, none of the suggestions I've read have solved the problem in my case.

    • I checked the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, everything is configured to use the Nvidia settings. Returning to the video player settings makes it even more flat.
    • The only one who came close it is make some additional adjustments when exporting via the effects tab. However, it's something drastic workaround with the overcompensated preview.
    • It isn't just Quicktime that has this issue, it is in all areas.

Y at - it a setting I have not spotted, either during the export process, or to set the display within the first I missed which would give me a parity between the preview that displays the monitor program and exit? This seems a little silly that the Visual tool used when the color correction and classification of images seems to be a rule in its own right...

Below screenshot shows the same part of a few images, VLC on the left and the program within the first right monitor.

    20151213_premiere-export-saturation_01.jpg

Thanks in advance for any idea on this issue.

After a little experimentation this morning, I think I can find the answer. I use some Look of Tom Antos LUTs as part of my process of dimming on my current project. Without these elements in the equation for the difference between the program monitor and images exported in VLC is almost the same makes no difference.

It is interesting export a file from .cube since Lumetri color Panel with everything Tom Antos LUT applied and then using this file in the ranking. .cube seems to cure the problem. There must be either something wrong with the formatting of the original Tom Antos LUT where changes to the image have been applied in the program monitor but were then omitted in the rendering process. Tom Antos READ appeared in or an earlier version of the first, and there is a kind of incompatibility. Anyway, to re-record the LUT as a native first CC 2015.1 .cube file seems to fix the problem.

I take this opportunity to thank R Neil Haugen and J. Simon for their valuable input

I hope that don't cross is not all 'line in the sand' marking my own answer to my original question as the answer...
