The guard microphone volume discount 100%

The volume level for my headset keeps discount 100% on a regular basis. My normal settings are 10 dB and 50%. It is a major problem for me since I am forced to use speech recognition to control my computer because of a disability and when it resets, it is very difficult for me to control the computer.

I am using windows 7 Home premium x 64 on a Toshiba laptop, A505, with 4 GB of ram. Any help is appreciated.

We have recently become frustrated with the same problem. We believe that it occurred because of an automatic update of Vista. There is also the problem in Windows 7.
We finally had to go into the registry and do some permanent settings. Once the settings you can run the utility to Set Up My Microphone, otherwise it will cost 100%. See the last message in the following link for the MSSpeech - Forum.com:

Registry settings, I've used are there.

    Hello

Control Panel - SOUNDS - Audio peripheral devices configuration-manager

Make sure you write down the description and model double click top - tab drivers - write version. Now
Click on update drivers who cannot do anything like MS is far behind the certification of drivers. Then RIGHT
CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will rebuild the driver stack.

If your driver shows 06 you have the default windows and part of the question.

Go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest Audio/Sound drivers - download - SAVE - go to the place where you
Put them - right click on Reboot - RUN AS ADMIN -.

Check the Version on the tab of the driver in the device as a sound Manager often restoring drivers, then install
the current version. Restart and check after each try, not uncommon to have to run the pilot of 1 to 4 times or more.
Just make sure that the version you have installed appears in the tab of the driver.

Then navigate to the site of the manufacturer of the device and search for the drivers more recent and repeat the installation procedure.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • The internal microphone too low volume

I have a new dell inspiron 5050 w intel core 3 and windows 7 and internal microphone level is not high enough.  The level is set to 100 and up to 20 dB boost. Skype calls cannot be heard and sound tests have a very low volume.  I heard that maybe that's a problem with windows 7. Some of those who have upgraded to vista say they have the problem.  Driver update is grayed out. Thought of the back of computer.  Another solution?

  • The W530 microphone low volume

In April or may of 2015, somewhere in the past two months, the volume of the microphone got low. People on Skype calls say they cannot hear me, and the microphone sounds very low or low. Same thing with Lynks Conference calls. I have to shout to get all the green bars in the audio settings in Skype.

I've seen this kind of problem reported several years ago on other models in the forums, but what is new from the date of this post.

I bought a new headset, which has not changed him.

All Skype and Windows 8.1 microphone volume levels and levels of reinforcement are pegged at the maximum.

I tried to download the latest driver realtek audio. It did not help.

If someone has had this experience, it seems like a change of software, update driver or an update of Lenovo. Is there a way to return to a previous driver or the update of Lenovo when it worked?

The microphone worked if I remember in February and March. I can't put my finger on what has changed, just when.

It seems that the solution is to uninstall the Realtek Audio driver by using the Control Panel, then reboot and let Windows 8.1 to find its own audio drivers for the external microphone.

I'm a little upset at the Realtek to put me through this.

  • The microphone volume is very low on a Dell inspiron 13 7348 with Windows 10

On my new Dell inspiron 13 7348 the microphone volume so low that my Skype partners can barely hear me. I checked all the settings in Skype and software audio dell and I updated all drivers... without success

Connect a microphone extermal solves the problem, however, I prefer to not always have an additional microphone with me!

Has anyone found a way to increase the volume of the microphone?

Since an external device works well I'm afraid that the build-in microphone is actually of minor quality... what a disappointment

So far, nothing has changed. I continue to go all my encounters with my laptop and this webcam with microphone build - in which I used the last in 2005... It's ridiculous... Don't know how many times I have had to explain to my colleagues why I use this external microphone... BTW, their Skype works well on non Dell computers with Windows 10 so I guess it's a problem that only affects users of Dell...

As I said before, it's a big disappointment, and in the future I will avoid Dell products.

  • The microphone volume

Are there known issues with the microphone volume fluctuating on the device? My duties sometimes report a wide range of amplitudes for ambient noise even if the actual noise levels did not change significantly. I'm pretty confident my algorithms are correct and bug free.

    Is this a known issue?

    Scott

I think that the microphone has AGC (automatic gain control).  A few months ago, I took video with the playbook of a violent storm with heavy rains and record, you could hear the rain, but when loud Thunder came, you could hear it very well (no cutting), but we couldn't hear the rain.  Like the sound of Thunder disappeared, the "rain" volume came back upward.  It's so good that I think that it's hardware and not software MCO.

  • Is there a way to enable and configure Volume discounts through the import spreadsheet product? Is there a way to allow more than 2 quantity thresholds?

Is there a way to enable and configure Volume discounts through the import spreadsheet product? Is there a way to allow more than 2 quantity thresholds?

    Hi Michael,

You can set thresholds via an import file. The best way to do this (and this goes for all importable data, included webapps, 301 redirects and so on) is the following:

    1. go to the Admin and create a single element, in case you create a product to test and set limits

    2. export these data - in your case, export product list

3-take a look at how the data looks like in the export file to get an idea of how the format should be in the import file

Unfortunately, you cannot set more than 2 thresholds, what is not possible at the moment.

    Thank you

    Mihai

  • Is it possible to reinstall or reset the internal microphone of an iMac?

    Some background information:

27 "iMac 5K (end of 2015) running OS X El Capitan (when the problem started), to give birth to Sierra of MacOS. Also have a Bootcamp with Windows installed 10 partition.

A month ago, when under OS X, I noticed the internal mic produced some static when you try to use it. Audio messages in voicemails would be static instead of my voice. The weird part? If I switched to Windows 10, the internal microphone works without any problem. I can ask questions of Cortana, I can record voice messages and they read without static electricity. In fact, no matter what I use the microphone internal to in Windows, it works perfectly.

Sierra of MacOS is out, so I hope that this update may be a BONE would settle the matter. Nope. Internal microphone still does not work on MacOS, but still works perfectly in Windows 10. It is because of this that I am positive the internal MIC is not broken or have a loose wire.

I went through a few steps to try and fix the internal microphone, such as resetting the SMC... but nothing has worked. Any help or ideas on how to solve this problem would be greatly greeted.

    Hello dear user

Thank you to use Apple support communities

My recommendation would be to take it to an official Apple store, workers are espceialists, they might be able to fix, make sure also that you have never removed the water on top of the mic. In my iPad, a drop of water directed the music video of speaker if she never exceeds 30% volume of the music.

But if you don't have a store nearby, uninstall malware and unnecessary software, make sure that you don't have a program that allows you to change your sound (like Skype) systems, if you don't do that this program has no impact on your microphone. (I used to have Skype but it also makes audio cut so terrible, piano music sounded like heavy metal music, so heavy metal music was like to...) I don't know what to say.)

  • Low Microphone volume, only in Skype

    Can anyone help?

In Skype, my laptop's built-in microphone is intermittently from low level. The microphone level is OK in other applications for example, Audacity.

This makes Skype unusable for me. Audio drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled nothing doesn't.

Laptop is ASUS F555UJ-XO051T with 10 windows and the latest version of Skype.

Thank you very much in anticipation.

  • Satellite L300 - 14G - Microphone volume of very poor quality

    Hello

    I have a satellite L300 - 14G. I would use a microphone.
When I connect it to the front, the quality is very bad.

If I pushed it there is a lot of background noise.
If I don't push it I have to talk REALLY loud to make myself heard.

    Hello

    Using the external microphone?

Please check the settings in the control panel-> Realtek HD audio Manager
There is a tab named Microphone.

You'll find called settings: acoustic echo cancellation and Noise Suppression.

In addition, you can increase the volume of the microphone at a higher level.

    See you soon

  • Using the drive almost always at 100% at the start and sometimes at other times

Recently, my laptop seemed particularly overwrought, even when executing threads. Whenever I start it (and also sometimes at random so that I use for light work), it is much slower than it has been in the past, and when I check the tast Manager, it says that the disc is in 90 to 100% almost every time. So I watch programs using the floppy and almost all of them use it with a rate of 0 MB/s, and all other use at a fairly slow pace. I know it's normal for notebook computers to slow down over time (mine is a little over a year old), but I wonder if it is an expected behavior. I find it odd that the drive is the treatment so furiously, but it seems to me that no program is really use it. I enclose below, pictures of my complete task manager a few minutes after starting.

My processor is an Intel i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40 GHz and I have 12 GB of RAM.

    @MirandaSnow ,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  What you have going here is not a hardware problem.  It is a common problem with windows 8.1 and an update.

Here are some links that I could find that should help you with this problem.

Use of the disk Windows 8.1 100%

Windows 8 guard slows to grip and 100% use of the disk.
