  What part of the application? What activities do you have when there are performance issues?

  Since I updated lightroom yesterday to version 2015.6 the performance on my machine is incredible bad.

  My system:

  -MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012)

  -2.3 GHz Intel Core i7

  -16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

  -NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024Mo

  -OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

  Lightroom synchronizes actually 1400 photos, but even if I stop this process, LR uses CPU so I can't work in other programs like Photoshop (updated yesterday, too). I detected this performance problem as PS freezes when I used the Healing Brush tool.

  

  I don't know what's happening LR, but is not ideal for my workflow.

  Does anyone have an idea?

  If I close LR I can work in PS, even though the Healing Brush tool is slower than in the version before. But I can't always close and open LR.

  The problem is resolved. You need to update Java ME SDK 3.0.5 for the fix:

  1. ensure to that you have downloaded and installed the latest Java ME SDK 3.0.5 (released December 23, 2011). In 3.0.5 update version we have added the Japanese and simplified Chinese locations and feature 'Update Center"which is necessary to obtain the fix.

  2 enforce Update Center or start Netbeans "Java ME" menu menu (in this case, you must install Netbeans integration during the installation of Java ME SDK).

  3. install "Java ME SDK Tools Site Netbeans Update" through the center of update.

  4 restart the Netbeans IDE.

  5. in Netbeans, go to tools-> Plugins, catalogue of Reload and install update "Utility" of the category "Java ME SDK Tools.

  That's all.

• Performance 2015.4 for the InDesign update problem

  I hope this isn't a double question. I did a search on the forum and nothing has developed about the overall performance.

  I get very slow performance with InDesign 2015.4 after update from last night. When I scroll through a message at the bottom next to the preflight check, a catalog file "No error" shows "Reading [Image name]" is constantly and every time I go to another page. This happens when the GPU is enabled and disabled. And for some reason, my drop shadow details are far away. I will turn off and reapply the shadow and it looks fine until I go to another page and come back to the page with shadows and incorrectly, they reappear once again.

  Shadow of a problem

  

  The Performance parameter of default display in ID CC 2015.4 was changed to high quality (previously it was typical by default). This setting causes the images to be displayed to their full fidelity and that's what happens when you see the 'Image of reading' at the bottom of the document window. For images in your document, it happens the first time you open a document and you go to a page containing images. Later browsing the same page (s), this does not happen because images are cached and are quickly made to high quality.

  The coordinates of the drop shadow should not change because of this setting, so cannot say why what is happening. I would like to take a look. I sent you a DM.

• Device Manager does not detect the gpu performance

  Hello everyone, I've had my laptop for a couple of years now. He is currently the normal edition of HP Envy 17 t - 2100. A time back well before this problem I had to re - install windows 7 and of course while I downloaded all the drivers. I was still not able to download the switchable graphics driver / program. I don't know if this is related to the issue or not.

  The MAIN question, I though, is that my laptop no longer recognizes the high performance GPU (AMD Radeon 6850 M). I tried to install the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling again. But no luck. If someone can point me in the right direction or has any idea what I can do, I would be very gratefull!

  That feature (and SuperFetch) are not available in XP.

  My opinion is that unless you know more about managing memory than XP, you must set the option for the paging file to the size of the managed system and just let XP take care of things.

  I read somewhere that there are none or only a performance problem minute if you can get the page file to XP on a USB key.  Keep in mind that flash drives will also be "usury" after a number of cycles of read/write so who knows how long to set up your continue to operate reliably if you were beat your USB device, day and night.

  If your system is slow, you must define what slow means for you and provide more details on your system.

  If you think that it starts too slowly: for example, I would use some software tools to measure boot time to the millisecond so that you can see exactly how long it takes, make some adjustments and measure again to see if things improve.  It allows to eliminate the human element of subjectivity in the matter.

  For example, I know that it takes my system exactly 24.03.024 seconds to start, but I have zero startup items configured at boot time.  Maybe this isn't the right configuration to everyone, but I'm all about the search for better performance.

  If your Lenovo will have more RAM, I would consider that.  512 MB is not a lot and RAM is relatively expensive, these days, and who would probably be on the best thing you could do for your system.  I can run XP with 256 MB, very good (but a bit slow), but more RAM is usually better - seek 2-4 GB if you can rotate.

  If you want someone to watch you have, follow these steps:

  Provide information on your system, the better you can:

  What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

  Your system have IDE or SATA disks?

  Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

  I have a ThinkPad T400 with Switchable Graphics, running Windows 7 x 64, with the latest drivers provided by Lenovo.  I tried to go to the ATI graphics card today for the first time in a little and got a message "system cannot activate the graphics performance", invites me to disable all external video connections or disable all graphics applications.

  The problem is, I don't have any open application.  I disabled several startup programs, uninstalled VMWare Workstation and tried several services, I thought that might interfere with the manual - still no luck switching.  I'll reinstall the driver, but in the meantime, anyone have any ideas, or find a resident program that tempt me not not to be able to switch from Intel for the ATI graphics card?

  I believe that after checking the system logs, the error was somewhere in libraries Visual C++ Runtime. I decided at this point, that the question was too difficult to follow and with Service Pack 1 available, I saved and reloaded. Problem solved.

  We had a similar question. As this report runs depends on the input parameters. Remember, your first round of what this report will take a lot of time and subsequent executions will be much shorter.

  We run statistical calculation on a table that is completely deleted daily, filled and then analyzed. However, the statistical component of calculation takes more and more time each day. The table retains a kind of diary/history of statistics that were calculated before the deleted data? Or is there a reason why statistical calculation on about the same amount of data every day should take longer and longer time? We took 10g.
  
  A few notes:
  I can't truncate table because I need to restore in case of problems. I could drop and recreate once if it helps.
  Before deleting and filling, I disable all indexes, and then re-create them.
  Transfer us about 10 million rows every day in this table.
  A year of the entire process (fill + analyze) has taken 3 hours, now it takes 18 hours.
  We also got this error on the table: ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number with the name ° ORA-02063 too small: before the T_SRC line

  When you insert and remove a large amount of data in a table, it breaks and he could accumulate a significant amount of unused disk space. When you perform a full table scan, Oracle scans the segment of the upper limit (HWM) that points to the location of the block used above, i.e. it scans all empty blocks as well. In order to reset the HWM, you can issue ALTER TABLE MOVE. Despite what the name suggest command, your table will not be moved anywhere, it will simply rebuild and recover any unused free space. If there are all the indexes defined on the table, they would have to rebuild after that as well (ALTER INDEX REBUILD of ).

  Alternatively, you may consider partitioning by date range (if your license allows it). With partitioning everything would become much simpler:

  (1) you load your data into the table and everything check
  (2) if it is ok, you just drop the previous partition; Otherwise, restore.

  With regard to the CALCULATION - it goes through all the data to calculate statistics, instead of using a small sample (in general, a few percentage points). It is slower than the ESTIMATE, and in most cases does not provide any advantage over it.

  DBMS_STATS ANALYZE vs - using ANALYZE for the collection of statistics concerning is now obsolete and not recommended. DBMS_STATS offers the same features, and much more, given that your version is 10g you should use DBMS_STATS and not to ANALYZE.

  Basically, I have four old masters (150000 records), (100000 records) Child1, Child2 (50 million records!), child 3 (10000 + records)
  (please forgive the alias).
  
  Each record in the master has now more than one matching record in each table child (one to many).
  Also there may be any record in any or all of the tables for a particular master record.
  
  Now, I need to get the maximum of last_updated_date for each master record in each table 3 child and then find the maximum of
  the three obtained last_active_dates from the 3 tables.
  for example: Master ID 100, to interrogate Child1 for all Master ID 100 records and get the max last_updated_date.
  Same for the other 2 tables and get the most out of these three values.
  (I also need to deal with cases where no trace may be found in a child table to a Master ID)
  
  Write a procedure that uses sliders that the value of each of the performance hits of child table

  You want alias to this field then.

  SELECT MAX (C.LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
  FROM
  (select child1_master_id MASTER_ID, field2, field3,... field4 from CHILD1 UNION ALL
   select child2_master_id MASTER_ID, field2, field3,... field4 from CHILD2 UNION ALL
   select child3_master_id MASTER_ID, field2, field3,... field4 from CHILD3) C
  WHERE C.MASTER_ID = 100
  

  If do you something like that, and explicitly list the columns you want.

  Edit: for something like a specific query for a MASTER_ID...

  SELECT MAX (C.LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
  FROM
  (select child1_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD1 where child1_master_id = 100 UNION ALL
   select child2_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD2 where child2_master_id = 100 UNION ALL
   select child3_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD3 where child3_master_id = 100) C
  WHERE C.MASTER_ID = 100
  

  That should give you very good performance by raising a record. But a better idea, as indicated, would be to get it all at once with a sql:

  SELECT MASTER_ID, MAX(C.LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
  FROM
  (select child1_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD1 UNION ALL
   select child2_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD2 UNION ALL
   select child3_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD3 ) C
  GROUP BY MASTER_ID
  

  This will give you the max for each MASTER_ID in a sql without a cursor.
