The issue of Chrome

I use RH7.03.001 on an XP machine.

I have recently checked W3C and see that Chrome is because 30% of the browser and rising market, then IE is on the decline. My Directors are very keen to have our assistance work on the "most used" browsers, and until recently I got away with the test of our aid against IE and Firefox projects. But with the ascendancy of Chrome, I have to make sure our help now works in Chrome as well.

I read the other posts on here and on the site of Peter bring Webhelp to run in Chrome. I made changes in my whver.js file and have used the workaround 'local disk' to test locally.  Everything ok in local testing.

I'm not clear on is that what my users see?  We send our help on CD along with the software it is built for. In a good part of the time, it is then installed on the client computer. When the user invokes help, it is open from C:/Program Files/etc...

This means that Chrome users get a browser with webhelp skin shell and nothing else? If so, I have to include a cautionary healthcare on our installers! I know that Adobe are looking at this, and that RH8 and RH9 still does not solve the problem.  Is there anything else I can do to make sure that we reach the widest possible audience?

If the webhelp is installed in Program Files then it runs locally.

For users to view help on the use of Chrome, from 130 shows how Chrome you will need to call help. This is something that only the user can do and he denies that Google see it as a security risk. Until a solution is found, you're kinda stuck, like the rest of us. Webhelp is supposed to be based on the server and it will run OK from there.

Who would be your developers changing all calls to their help and assume that your users have access to the internet. The alternative is another way to help out. My inclination would be to wait for some time see if another solution is coming.

    My Windows 7 has been giving me some problems lately. I get messages that "this computer is not running genuine Windows" (0x8004fe21). I'm running a genuine version of windows, and when I check the properties of my computer, it tells my that I have in fact validated my copy of Windows 7.

    I also had a problem when new updates to Windows Update settle not and after a few google searches, I have concluded that this must have been caused by bad KB3004394 update.

    It has been suggested that I deleted this update, but it did not show anywhere under installed updates.
    It has also been suggested that I downloaded the patch of "quick fix" KB3024777, which is supposed to remove the faulty update.
    I did, and since then, the issue of windows updates has been resolved. Again installing the updates of windows, but I still get messages I'm not authentic Windows.

    In addition, I tried all sorts of things, I found in online forums, but I don't remember exactly what those who were, because most of them were things that I didn't understand.

    Maybe you guys can help. Thank you in advance!

    I don't see anything abnormal in your report - which probably means that the problem is a race condition where your AV is to win the fight for access to certain critical files when the Service for the Protection of software needs to access.

    Certainly, it will disappear after a few days.

    I am driven insane by attempts to get a debug of the work environment.

    I have working Firefox with the debugger plugin, but which has its own network by blocking issues that currently block a type of content specified in silence. This does not only work on Firefox and I desperately need an example of working in a different browser debugger to compare.

    I have Chrome debugger plugin... but I can't get this working sporadically and, above all, _not_ on the network where I work today.

    However, because I _have_ seen work debugging Chrome... is it possible that Chrome / plugin / my OS blocks access to the debugger when on public networks?

    FOR EXAMPLE:

    1 chrome comes installed with 213

    2. I installed the debugger 216

    3. my plugin in Chrome reports as 216

    4. I _still_ can't debug using 216...

    Can someone tell me something that I need to enable / disable to allow debugging via Chrome on a public network?

    Chrome only detects the Flash Player version non-contenu default debugger.  To use the debugger, you need to run Chrome from the command line (or terminal) using commands switch to tell Chrome where to find the content and the debug version of content debugger:

    • Launch prompt or Terminal:

      • Under Windows, select Start > run > type cmd.exe , and then press ENTER to run the command window
      • On OS X, launch the Finder and navigate to the /Library/Utiltities/Terminal.app > open Terminal.app

    Try to run this program in your usual account, then copy and paste the result in a response.     You should look through the updates installed to see if there was an update to the video card.  I would then check with the manufacturer of your video card for the latest driver.  If you just updated to the most recent and feel it affected the color then you can restore the previous driver.  Then you can contact the manufacturer of the video card on the driver and they know the issue and see if they are still aware and have a fix.     I just bought a HP 5740 and have implemented to print wireless from my PC, iphone 6, notebk.

    I have the following questions & any advice would be much appreciated:-

    1. is there a limit on the number of wireless devices, I can connect to the printer?

    2. when using the Automatic Document Feeder for scanning/printing of documents, scanned images or impressions appear slightly

    biased.

    Is this likely to be a problem with the ADF?

    I thought possible is to refine the ADF paper tabs more far but I worry about the documents in

    could be stuck causing a jam.

    Welcome to the HP Support forum.

    I understand that you have purchased a HP Officejet 5740 e-all-in-one printer you have connected wireless to a 10 PC Windows, but also an iPhone 6 and a notebook. I will be happy to answer your questions about the limits to the number of wireless devices that can be connected and the output of the ADF is slightly biased.

    There is no real limit to the number of wireless devices can connect to the printer. Devices are actually connecting to the printer on the wireless network of your router, so that it really on the number of the router wireless connections can handle. I've seen some cheaper model routers handle 5 wireless comfortably, but once again, it is more on the router and what are wireless devices on the network the router wireless.

    For the unbalanced output when using the issue of the ADF, you definitely want that paper is loaded properly, and the paper guides are to the edge of the sides of the paper without being so tight that it is originally the paper not to remain flat in the ADF. If you have problems tilt when using the ADF, here is a document that can help - the ADF (ADF) documents do not choose paper. It is a generic document that covers all the printers with ADFs.

    After that, if you're still crashing

    These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by Kaspersky).

    Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.  Launch auditor.  You don't need to run memtest again unless the auditor is not the cause, or you want to.

    If you are overclocking anything reset by default before running these tests.
    In other words STOP! If you don't know what it means that you're probably not
