  Short story - I have an 8830WE and I use BIS to sync my e-mail address.  Until 2 weeks ago, I was using a 3rd party service called BlackBerry Sync to sync my calendar and contacts, and he worked smooth as glass.  Unfortunately, BBSync went, the service was down and he doesn't look likely to return so I'll have to resort using a USB sync, I tried in vain to do that for the last three days.  I agree to make changes and will sync on and suddenly gets about 1/3 of the way by a neck and closes unexpectedly.

  In some cases, it was discovered that updates (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

  1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > > remove

  Recently updated to V5.0.0.461 (Platform 5.2.0.42)

  My problem is when you try to use my camera to the video format, I get "unable to start recording.

  I AM able to take pictures very well.

  I have a lot of available memory, as I have a card of 4 GB with about 155 MB used. Memory is obviously not the issue.

  I didn't know all of the messages that the status of this problem or anything close for the moment. (Except that I ran out of course)

  My provider is TMobile - but the software was from another provider. Overall, the phone has will work perfectly on the 5.0.0.46 1 software, a few things here and there but I have worked through them.

  Help with graphics problems would be great!

  For the closure of the post office. I did resinstall the OS and not had another chance with the recording.

  Then, I went and checked again the location of files that would be recorded on the card.

  Still no luck then I created a folder on the press card, baptized "vids" and chose this location of files on the media as a location map that would be saved the vids.

  Tried to save again and it worked!

• Issue another calendar to blackBerry Smartphones

  I use a Curve 8310. Appointments in the calendar are not displayed on my, well, what is it? The desktop computer? The theme is BB Dimension today. When I look at the calendar, I see the appointments. When I'm on the home screen, don't show any calendar appointments.

  I searched these forums and others, but not found any solution. I went in the advanced options, services by default and updated my calendar at the address I want.

  Recently, I unlocked my blackberry torch 9800 and start using a Korean SIM. The name of the carrier is Olleh. As soon as the phone loaded with Korean sim card I expect a lot of problems with my phone. The black timer icon appears whenever I try to use the phone to do anything pictures/SMS/calls etc. This makes the use of any application, that really need me a lot of time, and more that the phone is slow.  It's as if the phone is blocked and it is always busy, which makes the battery last less than 2 hours. Then begins the most serious problem. Because of what I described, I run very often of the battery. When I load again the phone and turn it on, all the activity that I did the last time is deleted. This means that the history of calls, texts, contacts, memos and others disappear whenever I have run out of battery. Since I have this problem (about 2 weeks) I was not able to store contacts, record memos, set reminders etc.

  I read that there are no viruses for blackberry. I don't have many applications, so I don't think that it is a memory problem. My only guess, is that something in the configuration has changed when I unlocked the phone or put the card sim Korean. I looked in all the menus (options, configuration, etc) to see if something was wrong and that he could not solve the problem.

  Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This will clear all hide as restarting a PC. Then try again and see if the problem persists.

  On device, go to Options, device, application management is a great way to see what your applications with your use of the CPU on Smartphone. Simply drag bar greater than CPU and see what happens.   It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

  1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
  Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

  2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

  3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
  Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

  Hi, I had my BB curve less than a month, so I'm still learning.  I can access internet for most sites, but the one that I want - I can not go beyond the main connection.  I am an AVON representative and want to be able to access my AVON site but when I connect, it just reloads the same page - doesn't give me any error messages or anything.  AT first, he said I had to activate Java script - I went to options and enabled the Jave script - but still no luck.  Does anyone have any suggestions.  I have no problem with other sites, but I have not tried all the others I actually connect.

  I'm a university student who has had my BlackBerry Bold 9780 for these last two years and have nothing but LOVED. I depend on my device smartphone for a number of functions throughout my life of all school days and have been nothing but satisfied with my phone! However, last month I had quite the battle with my provider MTS who seems determined to tarnish my relationship with my camera. You see, when I bought my BlackBerry I signed up for an extra year of warranty service to protect my camera, just in case something should happen after a year to ensure that you provide your customers. In early may, my screen started to give me problems, so I sent it in for repairs through my provider MTS and when I got back, I noticed that my unit was now working more slow and more problematic than when I had originally sent away. Now, I realize that this issue is not topically unrelated to the Blackberry, but I bring this to your attention today such that you might be able to do something to prevent suppliers of 'maintenance' your devices incorrectly and give your business a bad reputation. I decided at this stage I want to update my phone and will probably buy the rest of my contract with MTS and switch to a more professional provider, however I would definitely consider buying another BlackBerry device, but only where I'm assured that I would get a certain level of care from my provider.

  First of all, we, like you, are BlackBerry users.  We love to help others with their problems of BlackBerry, but as a regular user, we have no control of how your carrier solves your problems in service.

  That being said, I suggest that you return to MTS to tell them that they have not fulfilled their obligation to provide a satisfactory service in your device.  They are contracted by BlackBerry to support your device.  If they are unable to provide a solution, they want to escalate your problem directly to BlackBerry technical support free of charge for you.

  Please go back to them and tell them to finish the job they started; It is their contractual obligation.

  I purchesed the sim-free phone and bought a new EA-mobile sim card. When I enter the phone against my own number app, I see an unrecognizable number - not my own user ID. I think it will take something in the settings to allow me to edit this number which probably comes from the SIM card.  But I find nothing like in the menu. Someone has any idea how to deal with this, as it seems so dysfunctional is not to be able to verify my number on my phone.

  I am also with EA and can honestly say that they do not always get things right.

  When you purchased the SIM, EA must you sold a Virgin sim card. Virgin sim cards are used for exsisting customers so that they can transfer their number and take into account a new sim card.

  If you have purchased a regular sim card that has its own number, then EA sold you the wrong card and that's why your number has not transferred, because it is already its own.

  EA customer service open from 08:00 to 20:00 hour of the United Kingdom. I suggest you call in the morning, explain that you bought a sim card and it that badly, then have you send the correct Virgin sim or return to the store and pick one up.

  Once you pick up a Virgin sim EE call and they transfer your phone number and account on it.
