  I just installed the RC 3.4 Lightroom and Camera Raw 6.4, but new lens profiles promised in LR are not there. I'm definitely running V3.4, but the drop-down list of objective profiles has not changed with the upgrade.

  Also, I'm not clear on the relationship between Camera Raw and LR 3.x. Accessing LR plug-in like PS, or it is structured differently?

  A large number of objective profiles are for raw only, images so maybe that's your problem.

  LR has the built-in Camera Raw code.  It is not access the PS plugin and you don't need to have this plugin anywhere on your machine.

  There was an update of the bios that is specially designed for Vista... = bios-vista - 510win.zip on the Toshiba site...

  Although my Satellite Pro M70-113 did not support the default TPM module (BIOS verson 1.1, I always have this), is it possible that this update includes the TPM secure to enable bitlocker on vista?

  Can someone check and confirm please... :)

  And secondly, is configuration BIOS update for Windows utility saves the current state of the BIOS in some external as backup media, while if it happens with the process of update... the previous version can be restored in return?

  And a BIOS may be downgraded?

  (1.) I m not 100% sure but I think the new BIOS for the M70 does not support the TPM secure. I read somewhere that all BIOS versions that support TPM on Toshiba laptops cannot be updated by a common user, but the user must contact the authorized Toshiba service provider for these updates.
  That's why I think that Toshiba would not any BIOPS version by download issue if this BIOS would support the TPM.

  2.) now something about the second question:
  The new BIOS version replaces the old BIOS and BIOS States and to my knowledge it of not possible to save the settings for a backup more later.
  Generally, you must be careful with any update of the BIOS. Bad BIOS or bad update procedure may damage the jury!

• Lightroom does not apply lens profile automatically

  I use Lightroom CC based on MacOS.

  Unfortunately, Lightroom does not apply the profile of my SIGMA 150-600 mm F5-6. 3 DG OS HSM p014 in development mode, but shows the lens correctly in library mode. All other lenses (CANON) are applied automatically, so it seems that I have a configuration problem. Lightroom shows that the profile cannot be detected automatically and cannot be applied. In the list of lenses, I can choose the target and that the profile is applied.

  Support said that this target is not supported. I can see the attached list of the answer all lenses supported by lightroom. And guess what, the lens is in this list. Detective Conan.

  So the support team has done a worse job, and did not check the list. I described that I can choose manually, but the response above was the answer.

  Any ideas how a.) the coup support team for doing their job and b.) help me with my problem.

• Poorly selected for jpg only lens profile

  Today, I took some pictures, especially the FIRST, but a few JPGs. Lightroom 4.1RC, Windows 7 64 bit

  When I use the Correction function of the lens on the RAW photos, the appropriate lens is selected, a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR.

  When I use the Correction function of the lens on the JPG photos, the right lens is NOT selected, instead, I see he has selected a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 14-24 f / 2. 8 g ED. In fact, next to 'Model', I can't even choose the good (the 16-85 mm lens) lens because is not in the list.

  It isn't in the list because it may not be available. I guess you

  forget that lenses profiles are specific to the file type.

  You need to hack (use Notepad) a profile "raw" to get one for Jpeg.

I am using media player 10 I think (I have windows xp) and when I plug my samsung reality screan phone to connect to the computer and the computer does not find my device.   Updated DV9910us for Win7 64 bit, 4 GB RAM, installed Bios version F34, 830 SSD from Samsung.

  It is a processor AMD Turion TL-60.

  Samsung software magician said that AHCI is not enabled.  Device Manager shows no AHCI hardware or drivers installed.

  I understand that a system with Intel would not have this problem, but is there a solution for this? My random reads are abiysmal (6008 IOPS / s).

  Welcome to the HP Forums.

  Unfortunately, what you're trying to do is not an available option in this notebook. Generally, you would change setting from the BIOS so it was an available setting.

  If you have not updated your BIOS, you can try this but no guarantee that it will have this feature.

However, my girlfriend didn't NEED to have all of the adobe products and the monthly price that goes with. She just wants a little more power in editing his photos, which is just a hobby for her, with software that is a notch above the user type level free software out there that allows only click on a filter to change the appearance of the photos. Non-professional have an in-expensive option (not monthly) to use lightroom or a lighter version of it?

  When we call the utl_http package to generate a report of jasper within the oracle and save it as a BLOB in the default language (nls_language and nls_territory) gets crushed by AMERICA/America.
  
  This gives problems as decimal points and comma...
  
  In regard to is that I know that it is not possible to change the language within the server of jasper.
  
  I suspect that utl_http creates a virtual browser with a default language (AMERICAN), that it becomes hereditary by server of jasper. Is there a way to change this language?

  Select the correct lens profile and then click the down arrow next to "Setup" and select 'Save new lens profile by default is'. The new lens profile should now be used automatically.

  Profile of lenses Sigma the BTW - is already included in LR 5.7. You should not need to add a lens user profile for that lens. EDIT: Sorry for both these lens profiles are included in LR 6.1.1
