  Hardware: Dell laptop with adapter Bluetooth 375 Dell running Windows 8

  Problem: after Microsoft Windows 8 update, all Bluetooth devices stopped working.  Moreover, they could is more to be discovered to pair them up.  Device Manager showed all works very well.

  Failure of attempts to repair:
  -Uninstall all components of Bluetooth in the Device Manager and analysis of the material changes.
  -Uninstall Dell 375 in programs & features (WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software) in order to reinstall (R296919).  The installation was quickly blocked by the program compatibility Wizard.
  -With the Dell software uninstalled, I thought that perhaps that it was no longer necessary, and so Microsoft software would work.  Yet once, I uninstalled all Bluetooth components in the Device Manager and analysis of the material changes.  Still could not pair.
  -Check in Bluetooth services and services were running.

  What worked:
  -Run GPEdit and go to the compatibility of the components/Application Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates/Windows /.
  -Enable the following:
  Remove Program Compatibility Property Page
  Turn off Application compatibility engine
  Disable the program compatibility Wizard
  -Run services.msc and stop the process of Bluetooth
  -Extract the R296919 in a directory
  - on R296919.exe and select run as administrator
  -For me, the installation failed the first time.  Then I repeated it, and it was installed fine, but required reset, which I did.
  -At this point, I was able to pair Bluetooth devices again.
  -Open Device Manager and go to the Bluetooth Module Bluetooth/Dell Wireless 375.  and select Properties.  Click the power management tab, and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power" and press OK.  If you do not perform this step, you will have all kinds of problems with Bluetooth devices, including keyboards and mice.
  -Reverse changes in GPEdit to not configured.
  -Reboot

  How to avoid the problem:
  Microsoft has an updated driver that States it is for the adapter Bluetooth of Dell 375.  on the update and select Hide update.  Microsoft has had quite a few black Tuesday lately, and this update is just another example.

  The above post started as a question.  While typing what has not worked, I developed the answer.

If I turn it back to "tap with three fingers," it works, but is not the "click with one finger.   If I understand correctly, you are using macOS Sierra and you try to use the power of touch, but it does not perform this action.
  I would recommend that you read these articles, they explain if your device supports the Force Touch, with a setting to enable and disable the Force Touch and how to set the sensitivity and how to turn the Look up feature words.

  Genius diagnosed bad trackpad in my MacBook 2012. Rather than sending repair ($310), I bought Magic Trackpad 2 to work around the problem. Engineering directed me to go to the preference of accessibility, and then click "Ignore built in mouse or trackpad when wireless trackpad is present." I've had that happen and that you can use Magic Trackpad 2 to point and click HOWEVER no other features are available. I can't tap, pinch, rotate, etc. When I click on Preferences of the Magic Trackpad 2, I see a screen indicating that the trackpad prefs are disabled, with no way to turn on the features of the Magic Trackpad 2. Anyone know how I can release all the Magic Trackpad 2 features while ignoring the built in trackpad?

  As long as the built-in trackpad is not interfering with your comments in a way (for example causing unwanted movements of the cursor) I would have thought you could disable 'ignore' and just use the external trackpad.

  I had the strangest question with my Magic Trackpad 2 on El Capitan (10.11.3.) When I am in the window of one application and tap/click to another application window, application of the new window comes to the foreground, but the old app is still under discussion.   For example, suppose that I open Safari and TextEdit and I am browsing a page in Safari. 50% of the time if I use my Magic Trackpad 2 to tap or click on in the document window empty TextEdit of Safari, TextEdit window will come in the home of prominent and Safari will be the background window, but if I start typing the text or press CMD - N to a new document, it will operate on Safari instead of TextEdit. This is just one example - literally, it happens with any application.

  I messed with all: accessibility for the Trackpad, trackpad settings, settings etc. No background apps or mouse extension installed applications. Tried both wireless and connected via cable to the lightning. Magic Mouse does not appear to have this problem, Trackpad 2 only.

  Anyone else having this problem? It drives me crazy and makes use of the Magic Trackpad 2 on OS X pretty useless.

• The Magic Trackpad stopped working properly after the upgrade

  Hello. I tried to solve a problem with my magic trackpad for two weeks now, and I'm running out of ideas, so I thought I'd see if anyone has any. I have a Macbook Pro 2011 who bought second-hand, and the trackpad has never worked properly in this respect, he was always nervous. Fortunately, I wanted to use my magic trackpad with her anyway and have done so since then. I can't simply turn the other back a new if, it does the same thing again until I turn it off.

  I tried the following and had no change:

  -Removal of all bluetooth devices and add the trackpad again

  -Deleting files plist bluetooth

  -Reset the SMC

  -Reset the PRAM

  -Turn off bluetooth devices in addition to the macbook

  -Disconnect the magsafe adapter

  Someone at - it any other suggestions?

  Apple does not trade for these items.   Your best option is to sell (on Amazon or eBay, for example) and then buy a new one.   Ask yourself the question that Apple want to do with your old trackpad.

  Two other things, your iMac does not run iOS 9.3.3; your profile must be updated.   And if you are running an operating system that you are weaker than El Capitan, the new Magic Trackpad 2 may not work fully.
