the monitor displays path horizontal occultation in strips of dark discoloration streaming to the right

Horizontal blackout appears in strips of dark discoloration streaming to the right, along the lines of text and PC window-borders on the monitor.
Intermittent. First appeared on a DELL monitor and now a brand new Benq 24 "out of the box.
Problem is fixed with no further action, but then returns!
Stopping sometimes useful, sometimes NOT!
There is never any error message!

If you connect the monitors in question to another computer, you have the issue?

Could be the video card/video device driver.  Have you replaced/updated either of these?

  • How to change the ID ID/monitor display or erase display ID/Monitor ID Windows 7

Have a problem that sometimes appears.

Setting up workstations to work with multiple display monitors, its part of my job...

The real ID monitors get Windows isn't usually a problem, most programs can adapt to the windows settings and fine.

BUT some of the systems we run sends commands and tips based on the actual number of the display, the number which appears on the screen when you click on the button "identify" in the Office/display-settings of the control panel.

Allows to call the ID of display equipment

the computer, or windows remember display´s EDID and stores the monitors already plugged into a list?

If I installed the monitors/screens in the order correct, everything is good and works as we wanted.

Then, it happens a brakes display or switch place for a reason, or perhaps a driver update resets the display list and windows starts now monitors in the wrong order.

the monitor 1 want to have HW - ID 1 to now HW - ID 2, and everything is false, messages and orders now find themselves on the wrong display.

    We have 3 options.

    1. fix the HW - ID display

2 - re - configure the system and what it includes and hope that he will not return to the display switch change or updated driver.

3 - re - install windows and hope that it shows the correct ID and continue with client applications and so on.

I don't have the skills, but I can't be a problem with a script that removes the EDID reg-edit list after a reboot?

then it would be not so complicated, simply:

Unplug everything except the display that you want to be number 1
    Run the script

    reset

connect the display 2 and so on?

    Hello

I understand that you are not connected to the domain. But it seems you're a developer and you try to change the logical numbers of monitors/screens. This is why it would be better suited in MSDN Community.

  • Document windows does not use all the available on new monitor display area

    Hello

    I have a new monitor - a Benq BL2711.

I have set up as my secondary monitor on display in Windows 8.

I can put Photoshop (CS6) on this screen and maximize the it, but there is a vast space not used in the document window, which is not used. I want to show a lot more of my images that I can currently, but the document window will not only fill all that screen real estate. A large part of it is lost.

The panels occupy the right space to the bottom of the screen, but the window of the document (or the display area?) uses only 60% of the height of the screen.

What is a limitation or do I have to configure something? (I have reset the workspace of photography).

    Thanks for any help

    Nick

It is really a shot in the water, but it's the space used by the "timeline" Panel when it is open. Try to check in the menu window and close the bottle.

Other that that, there are always some good old Reset preferences. Make sure you save the custom actions/brushes/presets and so forth first!

  • Source monitor displays a different size for the program in CC2014 monitor

I have imported a clip and the source monitor panel shows a different size in the program monitor?

    Thanks Chris

    Video 001.JPG

Looks like your sequence is set up for the right size. Select a video file and then right-click see 'New sequence of the Clip' if that helps. I see that your video hardware is HD do you have set up the sequence to match the stills sooner? It is perhaps greater than HD? If this is the case make a sequence of the video size and use "scale to the size of the image" for the stills.

  • Have two black stripes on the right and left of the screen making it my screen more small and does not know how to remove them permanently.

Problem with the screen!  Have two black stripes on the right and left of the screen making it my screen more small and does not know how to remove them permanently.  Can someone help, please step by step details.  Thank you.  Have Windows7!

    Original title: screen

Looks like a monitor / setting screen. Horizontal and vertical positions may need to be adjusted in the monitor buttons. Another possibility is that the display resolution is not optimal.

  • I use an old CRT monitor, I can REDUCE the appearance, so I don't have to scroll to the right?

Almost all sites Web throws himself on the edge of the Visual field available on the old monitor, so I have to scroll to the right, just to see the whole field. I realize it's showing of the newest, wide-aspect ratio, but is there a way to automatically reduce the field to fit my screen? I'll try to change my display settings, but who will do the much smaller type, I think that... Be vigilant and thank you, DAVID

What is the screen resolution (width and height)?

Some sites Web always displays with 1024 x 768, but many require a larger screen avoid horizontal scrolling.

If you have less than 1024 x 768 then you should consider buying a LCD.

An LCD is probably much cheaper while you have paid for the CRT screen and are also more easy on the eyes (the pixels are one and flicker).

  • W510 can not put primary monitor on the right

I have a W510 in MiniDock Plus series 3. The operating system is Windows XP.

I can activate my external monitor using the NVIDIA Control Panel. The page "Set Up several screens ' allows me to extend the desktop as 'A large horizontal Desktop' or 'configured independently.

Using "Set apart" it is possible to choose either "laptop display + external" or "external + computer laptop display.» The screen that appears first is that logically on the left.

Underneath, there is a distinct choice for the main screen of Windows.

Because my office is configured with the laptop on the external monitor to the right and the left, I want to have ' laptop display + external ', with 'external' as main display.

Among the four possibilities, it is one that does not. When I choose the laptop on the left and the external as primary, the laptop is always a priority.

If I choose as the main external, can I have the phone as secondary, but it is logically to the right, but physically to the left. So to move a window to the left screen I have to drag it out of the right. I can not physically reconfigure my workspace to bring the laptop to the right of the external display.

    What Miss me?

This seems to be a bug in the NVidia (3.3.452.15) Control Panel. It cannot apply the correct setting.

The solution is to change the position of the monitor using the windows display settings tab properties drag the monitor icons so that the '2' monitor is on the left. Then it will be applied correctly, and the NVidia control panel will be able to read the configuration.

  • Re: Tecra S5 - 15 q - monitor display lines vertical and error 43 for GPU

After about 5 years my Tecra S5 is experiencing problems with its graphics.
Most of the time the (internal and connected an external via VGA) monitor displays vertical lines, and windows gives an error 43 on the map.

I was wondering if there is a way to solve this problem, and if this problem could be solved under warranty (although the protohistory of the warranty expired 3 years ago.) .

In my opinion, it is bad material work and as far as I know only way to fix it is motherboard Exchange. I n t have this model of laptop, but I can presume that the GPU is fixed on the motherboard and cannot be traded separately.

    Fixed under warranty? Of course.
