The mouse cursor disappears on the address and search bars.

In Firefox 10, the mouse cursor disappears from the address bar or the search bar after a certain time, or I guess that after visiting a site that I paste below. I don't see what part of the word I click on the address bar or the search bar for the correction because there is no mouse cursor. After clicking on tools and options cancel, the mouse cursor appears (I make no changes to the options) or when I click on customize in the navigation bar, then the icons I click on Cancel again without modification, and the mouse cursor appears again (as you can understand some trigger for windows option implementation even without change is done). I uninstalled firefox 10 just for this reason. Back to Firefox 9. Safe mode - same problem happens. So no problem addon. And the same thing happened in another operating system, so this isn't a fault of a facility.

Problem solved for me in the last version of firefox v.10.0.1

I'm using Firefox 29.0.1, and when I open a tab at a website, my address bar and search bar are suddenly filled with icons such as cut, paste, print, etc.. The URL disappears or is blocked by the icons and unreadable. In addition, icons do function - by clicking on the print icon, for example, has no effect. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas how to fix?

Probably caused by an incompatible add-on.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

    • In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  • The address and tab bar disappeared with the new update.

While I was out today my computer updated itself and when I got back, I could see is no longer my tabs, the address bar or the menu bar, while on firefox, it shows me just the page that I am consulting... The address bar and the tabs appear when I move my cursor to the top of the screen, but disappear again as soon as I have it away. I prefer much the old way because he lets me keep track of what I was doing at the same time without having to move my cursor all over the screen. Is there a way I can get it back to the old where I can see all at once?

The sounds that you spent in mode full screen.

Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse to the top of the screen to facilitate the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.
Click the expand (in the top right Navigation bar) to exit full screen or right-click on a space empty on a toolbar and select "exit full screen" or press the F11 key.

  • I removed the address and tool bars and lost the option (right click) to add. How to restore these?

I right click on the toolbar, then "unchecked" option to display the toolbar and address bar. Later, when I clicked to restore the two bars, the option to do more appeared on right click. I even deleted Firefox and reinstalled. That has not fixed the problem. I want that those bars on my window. What can I do to restore it?

Versions of Firefox 3.6 + have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

Press the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.

The F10 can also be used on most PCs to temporarily reveal the menu bar.

  • How can I restore lost address and search bars?

I clicked on something in the search bar options, and the search bar and the url address bar disappeared. So, how to restore the address bar and the search bar?

Hi jackk1, you need to click right into an empty space in one of the toolbars at the top of your browser window and click on "Navigation Toolbar".

If you still do not have the address bar or the search bar, you must click right into an empty space as before and click "Customize." You should then find the address bar or the search bar in the new window, and you can drag the this window on the navigation bar. Then close the window 'Customize' and that should be fine.

  • The mouse cursor disappears when iTunes movie go full screen

This isn't a question... actually I found a hack solution to this bug and I wanted to share it with other people having the same problem.

Since the upgrade of the OS X El Capitan, I'm having a problem with my cursor disappears randomly. It is very repetitive if I start a video in iTunes with the enlarged screen and the cursor disappears. Indeed, after entering mode full-screen, iTunes mask the cursor of the mouse that is predictable. The problem is that iTunes may not reappear there again once, for example, when I go to another office for a temporary job.

Move the mouse does nothing, escaping mode full screen does not come back. It is very annoying. Like I had never had such a frustrating experience prior to a new installation of El Capitan 10.11.3 and update iTunes to 12.3.3, I thought that this is due to the update to iTunes. So, I made another new facility of El Capitan, this time without updating iTunes. But the problem still exists. It is interesting that I had this problem on my MacBook Pro 17 "end 2011 and not with my iMac 21.5" mid-2009!

After a little research, I found that this bug is not because of El Capitan, and happened randomly in the other years dating back to Tiger and maybe before.

Only new change I had made in my MBP Preferences system , was in the part of accessibility, and it was related to Zoom. I had always used this feature, but I put the Zoom Style 'full-screen'. This time (after the new installation of El Capitan), I had changed to 'Picture-in-Picture'.

I changed the Style of zoom "full screen" even once, and the problem resolved.

If this does not work for you, can be debilitating, other options, such as 'Use keyboard shortcuts to zoom' or 'Use of scrolling with keys of change to zoom movements,' can solve the problem.

We all know that it is a bug, and he has been there for a long time. I found that many people had reported it to Apple, but the problem persists.

For those of you who want to use the zoom "Picture-in-Picture" style, or set the zoom style full screen does not solve the problem of their mouse disappears, I will mention a few ways to recover the mouse cursor. The following solutions are applied to a mouse cursor disappeared after entering the movie to iTunes (or any other application) full screen.

    1. Move the mouse until the switching Office brings back the cursor. Now, you can switch the desktop computer and do whatever you want. (It's easier work, at least for me).
    2. Use Alt - Tab to switch to another program; This will bring the mouse cursor.
    3. Press Ctrl + F2 to activate the Apple menu. (You can also move your cursor away to top left and click to activate the menu.)
    4. Press Ctrl + up arrow (or swipe up with 4 fingers on the touchpad) to activate the control of the Mission.

You can also find other ways to retrieve the cursor of your mouse.

Hope this can help you with the mouse pointer disappears.

In MBP El Capitan the pointer of the mouse is where you assign to ' picture in picture ' or 'full screen '.

If you miss your mouse pointer, accessibility-> display "Shake mouse to locate" check to find your mouse pointer. It should be there.

Note: you have posted in the discussion of the Mavericks, should have used the ElCapitan discussion...

  • The mouse cursor disappears from Windows Update 8.1 "friendly office.

Hello. Since the installation of the 8.1 major Windows Update sometimes the mouse cursor disappears after connect you (unlock) or when switching between multiple virtual machines. Reconnect the mouse is back.  Someone at - he had similar experiences? We have a zero client to connect to the virtual machines. We use Vmware View Horizon with the latest updates and only with PCoIP.

Edit: I already reinstalled VMware Tools and VMware View Agent

    Try the following,

Change the registry key 'EnableCursorSuppression' to '0'.

    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\EnableCursorSuppression = 0

    It worked for us.

  • My mouse cursor disappears behind the image, I work with!

While I was working on an image in Photoshop, my mouse cursor disappeared. No line of sight (I already tried to turn the caps lock). He had just disappeared. I was moving my mouse and it appears each time I chose a new tool or when I work with layers or when I use something in the drop-down menu, the mouse is there when I did open in Photoshop - just at the moment where I have the program open - but whenever I start to work on an image or a blank canvas disappears that's going under canvas (I found that I can still draw and erase on the canvas, I can just say where because the cursor has gone). It's frustrating because I use Photoshop to create my digital work and my drawing pad is small, so I need to know where my cursor to shoot accurately.

(I use Photoshop CS6 and I use it on HP EliteBook with Windows 8)

Things I did to solve the problem so far: I downloaded the current update of Adobe, I tried to adjust my settings to properties on my computer, I tried to adjust my cursor settings in my preferences, I tried to reset my presets - thinking I might have Miss clicked on a key combination to achieve - I also tried closing and go into Photoshop, even turned off my computer , let rest and then back on. But my mouse cursor continues to disappear under the canvas.

I intend uninstalling and then reinstalling my software Photoshop - I hope it works. Otherwise, if it is not, someone knows how to fix this?

Okay, so I figured this out how to solve this problem, a few days after the publication of my question. If you have the Nezumi Pro plugin for your Photoshop there is an option in settings of Nezumi to hide your cursor which can be easily activated by Miss simply by clicking F6. Once I understood this and changed my cursor back to normal settings, my mouse reappeared.

  • My mouse cursor disappears randomly everything using Windows 7 64 bit

Original title: the mouse cursor disappears

My mouse cursor disappears randomly everything using Windows 7 64 bit.  This can occur when you use IE8, but also other programs.  I have to reboot to get it back.  This seems to be a common problem.  Is there a solution?

    Thank you

Have you installed Windows 7 device drivers for your make and model. If this is not the case, then go to the support web site factory and download Windows 7 drivers to a folder on your PC and then first install the drivers for the card mother/chipset, followed by USB, SATA, LAN, Audio and all other pilots.

Also check the download site of the manufacture of the graphics card for the latest Windows 7 drivers for your card.
