  • the mouse keeps jumping to the right.

    Separated from this thread.

I use a Surface of 3. Windows 8 and now the mouse keeps jumping to the right. It's terrible and I can't work again. Can someone from Microsoft troubleshoot?

    Hi George,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Forums of community of Microsoft.

If your mouse cursor is jumping or jumping around the screen of your laptop, the first thing you can do is wipe the touchpad with a wet washcloth. If you use a laptop computer external mouse, you'll want to make sure to clean that, as well.

A laptop external mouse with a rolling ball will have to be cleaned regularly to aid of peroxide or rubbing alcohol, rub the ball down with a wet washcloth later and then let it dry. Same laptop external optical mouse should be cleaned from time to time, but not nearly as often. Simply wiping under your optical mouse with a wet washcloth will suffice to clean that up, but you want to make sure that any visible dirt is removed.

Method 1: Adjust your mouse settings: repeatedly jumping mouse cursor can be fixed easily by changing the settings of the mouse on your computer.

    1. Press the Windows key + X, go to the control panel in your laptop and click the "Mouse";

    2. You can change various settings, including sensitivity and speed of your touchpad and external mouse speed.

If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

Method 2: update your drivers: another good idea when you are troubleshooting a jump or jump the cursor of the mouse is to make sure that your mouse drivers are up-to-date. To do this, go to the site Web of the manufacturer of your mouse and search for most recent and updated drivers and install them on your computer surface.

    Download and install the drivers

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/all-drivers

If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

Method 3: Windows 8 and later operating systems come with a built-in option to prevent the cursor move accidentally while typing. You can find this option in the settings of your laptop (Metro-Panel).

    1. open Bar of charms by moving your mouse cursor to the top-right corner or bottom right of the screen, then click on the settings option.

2 then click on the 'change PC settings' option given below.

3 it will open the settings of PC or Panel of subway page. Now in "PC and peripherals-> mouse and touchpad.

4 now you just need to change the value of the option "to help prevent the cursor to move accidentally while you type, change the delay before clicks work." First change its value to "No. delay (always enabled). If she does not work for you, try changing its value to 'delay'.

Permanently disable the problem of boring cursor jump!

I hope this helps. If you need help with Windows, let us know and will be happy to help you.

  • Superior 1/4 screen does not respond to the mouse - cannot disconnect sites when Logout button is in this area, IE. Facebook, banks, etc.. This does not happen with IE. I reinstalled Firefox without result.

Menu bar, tabs, history, research, etc. work fine, but in this area, I am unable to access anything whatsoever. For example, on the Firefox help screen the area on the right side of the screen that shows my user id - Sign Out - Inbox - and other applications will not respond to the mouse. Therefore, I will be unable to sign using Firefox. This is true for every Web site I have access. Fortunately, at least one of the banks that I use has an additional journal on area at the base of the screen that can be used.

Recently, the extension of the Yahoo! toolbar and the extension of Babylon have been reported to cause a problem like that. Disable or uninstall the modules.

    Hello

This problem may be caused by a touchpad setting which is intended to avoid any accidental activation - for example if your Palm brush the touchpad when typing.

You can change this as follows.

Open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons".  In the new page layout, select the entry of Synaptics.

The hardware/software version will depend on real option that you're looking for (see the example below), but it is usually called 'check' Palm or Smart Sense'-disable this function and apply the changes.

    Kind regards

  • Mouse keep disconnect and reconnect

    Hello.

I tried everything but do not know why it continues to be.
I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 and 2/3 months, this problem started. At the moment, I changed to my old mouse, an A4 x 7, and after 1/2 months, the same problem appeared in that mouse. Now, I changed back to this one... but yes... no solution.
    What did I try?
    -Install the drivers.
-Past to all the USB ports that I have in my computer
-Tried it on other computers (works perfectly)
    - And other things that I did not really understand
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you.

I'm borrowing another A4 x 7 my friend. The problem disappeared, but I think he's coming back once again as it happened with my old mouse.

  • HP ENVY 15-k001nc: mouse Bluetooth keeps disconnecting windows 10

Hi I tried to solve this problem for months. I got it before the big update of Windows 10, but now the problem is back.
Someone knows what you should do about it. A driver that works? I tried to update driver, do back, driver, generic driver, bluetooth support service, refusing the computer to turn off this device to save power on the adapter bluetooth and Wi - Fi, and so on. But the mouse keeps always disconnect even in the middle of working with her.

    I've updated 10 64-bit Windows.
    Adaptor Bluetooth Broadcom 43142 4.0 14.07.2015 12.0.1.689
    HP mouse Bluetooth X4000b 21.06.2006 10.0.10586.63
    Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn adapter Wi - Fi 02.07.2015 7.35.275.2

    Hi, thanks for your response.
It seems that the problem was with the batteries
Today, the bluetooth mouse worked for about 1.5 minutes, after turning the mouse market again for 15 seconds and then nothing. I measured 1, 5V AA batteries and they had just 1V.

  • Why the bluetooth mouse keeps on disconnecting in windows 8?

When I start win8, my bluetooth mouse works perfectly but after a while off work. I turn off the power to the mouse and turn to make it work again. But after awhile, it stop working again, so I turn the mouse off and on again to make it work. When the mouse stop working, the light of the mouse is always on so I know the mouse still works, but the laptop no longer responds to the mouse. The touchpad has no problem. I don't have this problem in win7.

I found a solution. What I did was to get in the Device Manager and expanded the Bluetooth menu. I have a click with the right button on each item and selection of properties until I found one that had a power management. Mine happened to be the Bluetooth Module. Once I entered the power management, setting I unchecked "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

I did not reinstall all the software and everything works fine now.

  • TripAdvisor.ca does not answer more to the clicks of the mouse on the Web page, such as the drop-down list to disconnect. It started with the last update.

As I downloaded the latest version of Firefox (29.0.1) I have problems with the webpage Tripadvisor.ca . The mouse may not seem to work on Web pages. For example I can't select a tab to view pictures or details of a vacation rental. Also I am not able to use the drop down menu next to my username for me to disconnect it.

    Does anyone have a solution?

I found that after Firefox v29, a LOT of my settings and

    Add - ons have been changed / reset. Try this;
    Launch Firefox in Mode safe

    While you are in safe mode;

Firefox Options > advanced > General.

Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

Then check ALL your settings. Browser and Add-ons. Then restart.
