The NVIDIA NDIS IO Control Driver service failed to start

NVIDIA NDIS IO Control Driver service failed to start due to the following error: the system cannot find the specified file.

It's the correct driver.

Ooohhh, you see in the event Log?

I looked in the NVIDIA forums and found this:

http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=262&p_created=1117061806&p_sid=qP2bKYVi&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MiwyJnBfcHJvZHM9MCZwX2NhdHM9MCZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9bmRpcw**&p_li=&p_topview=1

I have some NVIDIA cards, but not this one, so I can't recreate and test the suggestion...

If the RemoveNvNdis.exe does not work (I think he must disable or remove completely the service), looks like he's some NVIDIA service that tries to start when you reboot, it cannot be started for some reason any.  Looks like you don't need to start.

If you can find it in the Services of XP, you could check the properties and set the startup type to disabled, restart and see what things look like.  (Do you know how?)

If the mere presence of the Service in your list of Services, then you mind, you can also delete the Service entirely (I want to it later, just to be ordered if it is always hanging out).

After starting most of the Vcenter services had not begun, nor could they be started manually.  I it goes back to the first failure recorded in the system log:

The VMware HTTP Reverse Proxy service stopped with the following special service error:

    Incorrect function.

I can't start this service manually, it fails with the same error.  All other services fail with an error of dependence.

This is very frustrating, because we have upgraded this server from Server 2008R2 for the same reason, the service would not start.  When there are Server 2008R2 his running 5.1, we tried the upgrade to 6 but it failed and we couldn't solve it, so we completely removed Vcenter and tried a new install, it didn't until I managed to 'wrong' Setup by changing the Manager of VMware vCenter workflow service to run as local system if not always failed.  We have therefore installed and running, then after the first reboot comes to fail start services!  So we fresh installed Windows 2012R2, installed VCenter without any AV or other "crust" to make sure it would work, which was the case.  Now this 'thing' just continues to fail like that once!

DNS is fine functiong and the server has survived a number of reboots yesterday, no idea why it does not now!

Thanks to the Ram from VMware support we figured out that WWW Publishing service has been installed, the value manual start, but has been started.  The VMware Reverse HTTP Proxy service is listening on port 80, so that caused a conflict.

  • Qosmio F10: nVidia GF Go 5700 - driver update fails

    I have a problem:

I'm not able to update the driver for the nvidia card of the 6.14.10.6612 (which since 2004!)
I tried on the nvidia homepage, but none of the driver works with my laptop... (I've read that this is not recommended on other post, but it was my only chanche!)
I also tried to download, Toshiba, the drivers from nvidia F30... without success!

I need to update this driver because when I try to install x9.c windows MCE direct give me an error, a this is due to the 6.14.10.6612 pilot who did not have WHQL certificate...

    Please give me an answer...
I need to install it as soon as possible!

    Hello

If you n t find any new drivers on the Toshiba page then I guess there are no updates.
New laptops sometimes use the same graphics card. Therefore, you should check the books that could support the same graphics card. Then go into the areas of driver for the graphics drivers. But if you want to find anything so unfortunately, it updates of any pilot aren t.

Optionally, you can find something useful on the omega driver page.

But be aware that the Toshiba drivers are NOT similar with the manufacture of graphics cards drivers. Drivers Toshiba supports a card protection against overheating and regulates the temperature of production because the computers laptops don't use modules of cooling for as desktop graphics cards

    Hello David

It's a very strange situation, and for me there is no explanation simply. In my opinion the laptop or HARD drive, the functionality must be tested properly. Here in the forum we can speculate just what is the problem here but mobile startup must be tested with the other HARD drive pre-installed with original recovery image.

It will be interesting to know if the problem disappeared with new HARD drive. So what you can do now? If possible, try to get the second HARD drive and do the only testicles or make a call to the authorized service center and explain the situation. If the laptop is guaranteed to be valid, it will be better to check in service because they can replace free HARD drive (if the HARD disk is defective).

Sorry, but I don't see another solution. Some test with the new HARD drive can help you to understand if this happens because of the HARD drive. I don't think that the BIOS can be responsible for the issue described.

You can also start Help and Support by using the Services applet (its Startup Type can be manual or automatic).

Well, then I got the bluescreen 0cx000021c yesterday and got during windows startup. I think it is a blue screen of material, if I'm wrong?

Which is probably my HARD drive that I got a response from here somewhere, and the guy said it was probably a faulty HARD drive.

I had to get my data from the school of my pc, so I can send my laptop MSI for repairs. I could not find a way to copy my D drive on my drive externel but tried Diskpart to clean everything first, and maybe put it on the C drive D drive, hoping that I could do a clean install without losing the files of my D drive.

Now to the problem. I feel really stupid to do so, especially to be a 1st year in a COMPUTER at the College course. I use Diskpart and I accidentally this is cleaned up, and I cleaned my table of partition or something like that. So now all my partitions are parties, I have read that maybe my files still on my laptop just my scores have disappeared.

Now I can't get to the CMD, at the start of my laptop, it says there is no media and then goes to BIOS. I tried a cd Hirensboot, but he repeats to me without media present I also put on Cd/DVD boot first priority

    Hi TonSchepers,

You deleted the partition, it would be extremely difficult to recover data. You may need to use some third-party data recovery software to get your data.

Third party WARNING: Using third-party software can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

If your computer is under warranty, please consider the manufacturer. If this is not the case, try these suggestions.

Remove the hard drive of this computer and connect it to a working computer. Check if it detects the hard drive. If it detects, see if you can back up your data on this computer.

Try to format the hard drive using another computer and connect it to your computer and check if detects also in the computer.

Note: Formatting the hard drive, you erase the data on this subject.
