  Hello, I want to configure the keyboard backlight Timeout on Dell Latitude E6440. I use pre-installed Linux OS Ubuntu 12.04.2 Dell.

  I found this post http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/enterprise-client/f/4448/p/19415396/19975858.aspx#19975858 of Warren Byle.

  He wrote how to change the keyboard backlight with tool CCTK lighting level. I downloaded CCTK for Red Hat Linux and looks like it works fine on Ubuntu too. With that - token orders that I am able to change the level of backlight on the keyboard which is good.

  But I still don't know how to change the keyboard backlight Timeout. Backlight is still off after 10 seconds. Is there some special - token for this timeout setting?

  According to other messages, looks like configring timeout to 5 minutes could be possible, as there are Windows applications that could do that (for example Dell System Manager Application checkpoint)

  Dell has now released tool called smbios-keyboard-ctl [1] for configurting keyboard backlighting (timeout and trigger). It is in repository libsmbios [2]. I tried and it works very well.

• Excluding the lines of Terminal Server in the AAA authentication

  Hi all

  Hope you can help, I'm trying to find a solution to exclude only the following line port by using the AAA authentication (ACS GANYMEDE +) on a map of Terminal Server on a Cisco 2600 router.  Does anyone know how to do this, or point me in the right direction to solve?

  You may need to create another group for authentication to the and send your AAA configuration

  line to 0

  connection of authentication aux_auth

  AAA authentication login aux_auth line

  You can also configure a username local/pw and map it on the group to here...

  Console and telnet would still use the configured default group, or you can specify specific groups:

  Line con 0

  console login authentication

  line 4 vty0

  vty authentication login

  and specify the aaa authentication settings individually...

  But I can't find that there is GPS data in each photo EXIF Info!   I tried to read the GPS data by using the command line or from an extract tool: exiftool...    NO GPS data in photos EXIF Info!

  Why can't data from GPS location in photos exif info, while the pictures can say where the photos have been symbolic?

  The reason why I want to dig the GPS data in the photos I have token by iPhone 6 s is:

  my camera does not have a GPS receiver to build-in.   I want to get the GPS data in the token of photos from iPhone 6s then write on photos without GPS data using tools such as exiftools.

  Most of my photos iPhone 5s is the GPS tags display. How you have exported photos to see the EXIF data?

  When you export the edited versions, select "location information". File > export > export... photos.

  

  When you export the originals (file > export non-original), activate the sidecar file.

  Then you should be able to see the GPS values with exiftool or outline:

It's annoying because if I have several tabs open and am currently on another page while loading the website with the ads, I'm brought back to this page to authenticate. Can I get asked 3 times to authenticate while this page loads, and it takes forever to load because of this. I don't want to disable my proxy settings because I use it very often. I tried to uncheck the "Accept cookies from Web sites" and nothing happens, it's always the same. I want these ads to stop going through my proxy settings. How do I do that?

  My Elitebook 8540p has developed a problem where I get the error message - Internet Explorer has stopped working... Turn it back on.     I am running Windows 7 32 bit.   And using IE9.

  After some internet reading, I started my services of neutralization.    I finally got down to a service that is causing the problem.

  When I disable the service in the services of the MSconfig System Configuration and reboot, I use internet explore without any problem.    (I've identified some Web pages which would agrivate the question.)

  The deactivation of the Service of Authenticaton of Biomitric causes the scanner to not work.     I tried to reload the driver for fingerprint reader, and the HP Protect tools Security Manager.

  Any idea how I can activate the biometric authentication Service and not IE stopped working the issue?

  I had the same problem on my HP Pavilion dv7 and had the chance of getting a solution.

  I, too, put the finger on biometric authentication as the problem Service.  By disabling the service, Internet Explorer worked well; except, now, I had no finger analysis feature.  I installed the latest version and it worked for a few sessions and then the problem comes back.

  Looking at my updates, I realized that the Flash is set to update at the same time, the problem started.  I tested by activating the biometric authentication Service.  Instead, I disabled the Flash add-on in Internet Explorer and it did not work again; except, now, I had no Flash.

  Searching online, I came across this post from Adobe:

  Post on the Adobe Forum: IE9, Windows 7 64-bit Flash causes "Internet Explorer has stopped working".

  I followed the instructions in this post, including the "clean install" and reverted to version 10.3 of Flash.

  It should work because it is a guest message.banner whenever you try to connect (console/vty). I set it up on my router.

  The configs in most CAT OS systems stored in NVRAM or FLASH.

  The main difference between the NVRAM and FLASH memory is the total storage size.

  FLASH device have more space and contain many files.

  But if you work with NVRAM and configuration changes, then get automatically saved in NVRAM.

  If theres no need to save the configuration changes.

  To answer your second question, there are 2 modes to save config files is binary and the other is the text mode.

  with the text mode you occupy less space compared to the Bindery mode.

  And if you work with your NVRAM the auto backup feature won't work if your config is saved in the failure of the text must manually save using wr mem.

  Ganymede + accessible servers use source vlan 200. Also in the Ganymede server + can you check if the IP address for this device is configured correctly and also please check the pwd on the server and the game of this device.

  As rick suggested sh Ganymede would be good as well. That would show the failures and the successes

• APEX 5 - How to reset the default authentication in the admin module?

  Someone please help! I knew I could put the default authentication in the admin module, so I put it to use authentication custom LDAP that I created (which works in the apps I created in). Now I can't connect what either using the LDAP or APEX connection. I can't even log in the admin module. When I put the current authentication scheme, a pop-up message actually told me what is the procedure to use to reset to the default value, but of course that didn't save any where! DOH!

  Just found the answer when you browse recent discussions. I swear, I'm not really looking for before this announcement, and it turned up nothing.

  In case someone needs the answer:

  , I keep getting invited to change the value of timeout to hook keyboard even if I select the option "don't show this message again".  I have check the do not show again and then click Cancel "leave unchanged" because I don't want to change the level of LowLevelHooksTimeout on my host machine value.

  The client authentication is not handled by the Locator well - it is managed by the cache servers when the client tries to connect to them.  Only process GemFire "peer" are authenticated by locators.

  First off all I want to thank all those who contribute on this post, I have a 5.0 vcenter and vmware view running 5 customer, the problem is that on my infrastructure vm´s of users sessions go on the time-out for the most part after 7 or 8 hours of active session is probably for security reasons , I want to turn off this option, but don t know where to find the settings for it on my vcenter, due anyone know how to disable this feature?

  I am a beginner on vmware view, but I'm trying to help you.

  Most common session is disconnected as a result the VMware View connection Server Session timeout.  This global setting disconnects the sessions after the time-out expires. The default setting is 600 minutes (10 hours).

  To avoid these disconnects, educate users that there is an automatic session expiration time or increase the value of timeout in minutes via the view connection server > view Configuration > global settings and enter the time in the dialog box Session timeout.

  Remember points of certification for responses 'useful' and / or 'correct '.
