  I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 video card and I reinstalled Windows 7 x 64 three weeks ago. Since then, the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + C does not work.

  I tried to reinstall the program. I tried to clean the preferences file. Yet, nothing is done. I googled if there other programs that could take the shortcut for themselves. The InDesign menu says that the Ctrl + Alt + C is linked to the action "was". But nothing happens.

  If you have any suggestions on what do I do to fix this, please help.

  P.S.: before the reinstall, everything works great.

  But no. I think I thought it somehow.

  I just reinstalled the CS6 InDesign from scratch, as stated in the above post. Just as new as possible. And he was always in trouble. Then I disabled the two automatic startup items:

  Broadcom 802.11 Network adapter wireless Tray Applet

  and

  Driver Logitech SetPoint.

  After that, everything is back to normal.

  I guess that one of them had caught the hotkey without mentioning, so that should be the fault. I don't think that other programs (with the exception of Adobe) have the same key as InDesign links.

  P.S.: Just restarted each disabled program and it's Broadcom 802.11 Network adapter Wireless Network Tray Applet that shows problems with the keys.

  So, thanks for trying to help me solve my problem.

  If anyone else has trouble with the keys and they have this specific bin running applet, better turn it off to be sure. In the Windows Task Manager, it is called C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WLTRAY. EXE.

  Well, the default shortcut to create a new layer is Shift + Ctrl + N and it will show you the dialog too, now, if you do not want to see this dialog box, you can press Shift + Ctrl + Alt + N and it will create a new layer without any dialog box or from the command prompt.

  And I think there is no way to change this shortcut because it is not specified in the keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop.

  I am a .net developer, so I regularly use * IDE for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 *.

  There is a * Ctrl-space * shortcut that is used in almost all IDEs (Visual Studio NetBeans, Eclipse) for code completion.
  * I can't use shortcut Ctrl-space in IDE * because it is intercepted by one of the Toshiba Utilities.

  I've checked all my options in the IDE, they are correct. I tried to reassign the keys to the IDE, it still does not work.

  * I uninstalled * all utilities Toshiba (Hotkey, ConfigFree, Fn-esse, Toshiba utility etc.) and it worked.

  Can you please suggest how * delete or reassign shortcut keys Ctrl-space * used by Toshiba utility?

  I think that it of not possible to reassign the shortcut used by Utility from Toshiba.
  If you need this shortcut in the IDE, you must remove the tool that blocks this shortcut.

  My bookmarks file is not by default when selected.

  I have to scroll down to find it in heap.

  I thought that Mozilla will leave the last favorite folder selected at the top of the list when you use "ctrl D".

  I would use "to bookmark all tabs" but I have 2 pinned tabs and almost always some tabs open that I don't want to put in the folder.

  I love the D, tab, alt + down ctrl but shouldn't the last folder of bookmarks in the drop-down list be a sticky until you select another?

  I recently bought laptop Satellite L300 and have a big problem with the combination of keys "Ctrl + Alt + C" that should produce Polish diacritical characters in the Polish language.

  Unfortunately, it does NOTHING. No character, no action at all!

  In addition, I can't assign combination "Ctrl + Alt + C" to any shortcut in Vista which gives to think, that it is already assigned to another element of Vista but I can't :(

  Users can always bring up an address bar with the shortcut Ctrl + L if this bar is hidden.

  To open the window to customize the toolbar, do one of the following:

  • Firefox button > Options > toolbars
  • Press ALT or F10 to temporarily show the Menu bar and choose from there (view > toolbars > customize)
  • Hold DOWN the ALT key while pressing the VTC keyboard letters

  Regarding the new button tab, you see the end a '+' after the last tab or the right of the tab bar? This is the icon of the new tab.
