The option "open in Smartview" error in the workspace for a user

One of our users is facing a problem while trying to open the data forms in Smartview via the workspace by using the option "open in Smartview. When you click on it it gives the following error: "Navigation to the webpage cancelled.

FYI - just to make sure I tried the same thing on another system with a different user name, and it seems to work correctly for the user and the system.

It looks like an option or setting is not right or was messed up. Can you get it someone please let me know what setting/option could be the cause of this error and how to fix it.

Among the Internet Explorer settings have been updated (Internet Options - Security - "Enable Protected Mode" has been disabled) and also some JAVA related stuff installed on the system to solve this problem. The user is now able to open the dataform in SmartView via the workspace.

    You can connect to My Oracle Support Site and search for document id in the knowledge base search box. BTW, here's what you can do:

    1. uninstall Smart View
    2. Select START-> RUN
    3. type regedit
    4. go to HKEY_LOCAL_USERS\\software\HyperionSolutions\SmartView
    5 remove the Smart View key.
    6. close regedit.
    7 install Smart View

    Also, did you use are secure https protocol? In the options of IE, try to activate "Display mixed content" and see if that helps.

    This problem may occur if the print spooler service is stopped.

    To start the spooler service, follow these steps:

    3. double-click on the Printer Spooler service and then change the startup type to Automatic. This option sets the spooler service starts automatically when you restart the computer.

    -A bit of background: the desktop PC that I use is Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, with active user accounts total five. I have my own account, and I can access the computer through (or through account from my brother, because I know its password).--

    I had this problem recently came where the administrator password (that I know for a long time and never changed) no longer works. So, after some research, I created a reset password on a USB disk, that I found in my house. I managed to create the disc, but when I tried to put the new password, I got the message error "an error occurred while the wizard attempted to set the password for this user account', which I must say is not very clear. I found a few methods of force - reset the password for the account of the admin, as using a sort of Windows Vista DVD or go to Safe Mode to find the hidden administrator account... but I have no idea what this DVD is or where to find, and in Safe Mode, there is no account user administrator to be seen. I believe that my machine is corrupted, but I don't want to buy a new. I want just to reset a password...

    Any help is appreciated. If I was not specific enough, I can specify in comments.

    I have a query that is running in less than a second for sys, system, or schema owner. However, another user (test_user) take 30 seconds to run the same query.

    I certainly dba and privileges identical to test_user as schmea_user, but the result is the same.

    I have check the plan to explain to both users. I noticed that for sys/system/schema_owner, the query uses an index, but not the test_user.

    One of the first things you notice about the execution plans that is for the owner non-schema "SQL_ID, 0wcs85uywn72m, number of children 1" appears in the output of DBMS_XPLAN, while "SQL_ID 0wcs85uywn72m, child number 0" (the same SQL_ID but a different number of child) appears for the schema owner. "" Whereas the SQL_ID is the same, which indicates that the client requires exactly the same SQL statement, so it's a good start.

    Then, note that in the predicate for the nonschema owner information section the following appears (sometimes with the order of the two conditions switched in position) as a condition placed on each table that is available in the schema:

    You might find working through the second of the above that the problem is caused by a bug in database Oracle.

    On a side note. Execution plans you have published include the 0 value in the column starts many of the operations in the execution plan. 0 indicates that the operation never actually executed. A 0 is included in the column starts on the line that includes the FULL ACCESS of TABLE of PEOPLE_TRANSACTIONS at least to the OPC. Value 123, a full table of PEOPLE_TRANSACTIONS table scan PROPERTY_CONTAINER_ID was not actually performed.

    Use FND_USER_PKG. UpdateUser API to change the password of users - see (Note: 344979.1 - users are not prompted to change their password when using Fnd_user_pkg.) UpdateUser).

    Another possible solution to force these 10 users to change their password. Modify the script in AFCPEXPIRE.sql for 10 users, you want them to change their password - see (Note: 414976.1 - how to Force all Applications users to change their password?).

  • Disappears problem Wizard of the printer for multiple users

    It seems to be a problem for many people on this forum at the moment where Printer Wizard and other options disappear from the printer software.  I have a Deskjet 3070 and have been touched by this problem.  At least one person with the same printer has posted the same problem recently and someone with a 5510 and someone with a 8600 - all in just the last two days.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled and I'm still in the same situation, I also followed advice given to other users and made a bit of investigation, I sure hope can help to define the problem as it seems that this could be a similar thing that happened to us all...

    If I create a new user account and log in it and then open the "printer software" at first I get all the options provided.  After a short while an information banner invites me to download the update details is displayed:

    Once this happens it has not come back...  No matter if you click on the banner the next time that you open the printer software, half of these options will be gone:

    If you create a new user, it's the same thing: at first all goes well until the inevitable update.  What I can't work is the way to do things, come back as it should be once they have gone to a user account.  More for you a solution please!  Thank you.

    Yes, same question here for my 6500 Officjet has. Before was particularly to be able to see the status of printer ink in one click all the features. All these features have disappeared, I noticed in the last week or two. No update has been installed by myself to the software of HP Print to my knowledge either. Went to the HP Canada website and download the full feature set driver and installed and now have the rear HP Printer Wizard. It's kinda diiferent tho of previous version I had installed with the CD supplied with the printer, a year or two there therefore needs to be a more recent version of the help system.

    What happened here HP? Did a silent update killed the previous Printer Wizard? Would really like to know...

    Under title, I'm looking for a way to get out a dictionary of Firefox (specifically the English (British) of https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/) to all users in a Citrix environment. Comprehensive silent installation is absolutely best. Because following a recent installation of Firefox users report that this spell check is not working, what appears as a result there is no dictionary to check the spelling on the facility.

    It's in a corporate environment, running 6.5 XenApp hosted workstations to multi-server Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise x 64, the installed Firefox info below as collected by the add-on troubleshooting pulled from the browser in the test environment with the same characteristics.

    "A whole installation will install an extension in the directory of the application rather than in a profile so it will be available to all users. To perform a whole installation, you must not activate as within your Mozilla application installation file.     Although it seems that the < installation directory > \extensions folder no longer exists at the given location. Find a path of the < installation directory > \browser\extensions but seems it does not behave as said here that I have not received all of the guests. I hope that this method is still applicable in some way and I am just not aware of how this is currently supposed to be handled, but not sure if it is a dictionary rather than a typical add-on will have no effect on the installation overall how can be reached.

    Have also tried to http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2268437 , which seems a pretty basic option, but this would have not only to a lot of work to do on a per user basis, but there are also restrictions in place to prevent access to the records of users AppData.

    Finally I was looking https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/740545 to push this point across: the les parametres parameters configuration, then use the method above to enforce this on the user end, but did not find anything me.

    Any help/advice/shots of elbow in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    It might be easier to extract the files of two dictionary (.dic and .aff) of archive XPI (ZIP) and place the two files in the folder of Firefox profile for the dictionaries available for all users.

  • Add the workspace Panel to the workspace for editing

    I think that I closed the Quick Panel of select Workspace in my workspace editing and would like to put it back. This Panel is the new with CC located below the bar menu and above the panels of Source and the program, which allows one click access to various worlspaces.

    If I select window > workspace, I get a floating panel that I can combine it with other existing signs but I can't place it in the original location between the menu bar and the Source/monitor panels.

    If I select a different workspace that has the quick select Panel still in place, and then disconnect it I am facing the same dilemma, namely not being able to put it back in its place of origin.

    What I have found seems to be that we would need to edit Resource Bundles and it will be much easier in version 8:
