• Why the look of the evolution of the Photoshop CS3 to CS4 toolbar?

  A nice visual feature to Mac in Photoshop 7, Photoshop CS3 was the appearance of "brilliant" from the toolbar that has acquired the Aqua interface.  Now in CS4, the toolbar looks more like the version of Windows (more bland).  I know that 'how the program research' does not change the way that Photoshop is used, I just thought I would ask in the forums why they would change the appearance of the toolbar for Mac they have had for 7 years.

  I've never worked with a Tablet, so I can't address your concerns there.

  The guy at the Apple Store has been/is just. You CAN run Photoshop for Windows on a Mac. There are several way to do.

  1 boot Camp. -It comes with OS X, so don't buy anything. As long as you have a Windows install disc newerr than XP SP2, you can load. Downside is: you must stop and restart Windows with Boot Camp. No access to OS X. it is difficult if you are working with files in one and go to the other to change.

  2 VMWare Fusion - not free, but you can run Windows while you're still under OS X. very well with two monitors; Windows on one single, OS X, on the other. VMWare Tools allows to drag files from right Mac to the Windows Desktop also.

  3 parallels Desktop - once again not free, but has the same features as VMWare. and you can access files of two operating systems with the other OS.

  I use VMWare and tried to Parallels. I have XP, Vista and Windows 7, loaded as a virtual machines and CS3 and CS4 software running in each of them. Windows seems to actually runs faster on a Mac.

  I'm waiting for the M4 double aqua (LTE) to be my next phone. but I have a question. is - this phone is supported by otg?

  in the backup and restore section of the manual of the Aqua M4 wrote that:
  "With this application, you can save the following types of data on a card SD or an external USB storage device that you have connected the USB Host Adapter on your device"

  But if you watch this video, it says it doesn't have the features of otg

• Xperia M4 E2303 Aqua - problem with SD card.

  Recently I bought the Aqua M4 on a contract with a mobile phone service provider Vodafone, but the main problem I had with the phone is that the microSD card slot is malfunctioning and it glitched my phone which is very boring and useless...

  The main problem that occurs when I put in any MicroSD card in the slot:

  -There is no message not appearing that the card is inside the (mounted)

  -There is no message no card is damaged and needs

  But that's not all, the main problem I have now is that the phone itself locked in this part:

  

  -J' I restarted the phone several times & safe mode, but it still does not work.

  -There is no SD card inside

  -J' have tried to use the software Xperia repairs - nothing has changed

  -J' tried to use another SD card - does not work, always the same.

  Please could someone give me a hand with this problem.

• GPS icon always on

  Hello, I have the Z3 c since the end of August, and I have this problem: sometimes (apparently not related to the use of GPS apps) the GPS icon appears in the status bar and will not disappear even to put the GPS off. Audit of the use of the battery shows any use by GPS, which is just annoying to see the icon all the time. It always resolved by a reboot of the device.

  No idea how to solve this problem?

  Try to start in safe mode.

  Press the Lock until the Switch OFF guest appear > keep POWER OFF until Safe Mode prompt appears, then press OK

  You must be in safe mode after reboot (a logo of Safe Mode)

  Use it for awhile, then check if the GPS icon always appears in safe mode. If the GPS icon disappeared, then app (s) you have installed must use GPS. Try to uninstall your recent apps since the end of August.

  If it still appears, try to perform a repair of software using PC Companion.

  To exit safe mode, just restart your phone normally.

• Problems with my new monitor 3014

  My 3014 happened today. not having is not a great experience. do not know how well my 3008 now dead was the scene, but it seems a bit odd. I never noticed anything the old funny

  two things:

  1. Black performance.

  booted up a part of the knighthood, all areas which were dark at all had almost no gradation of darkness (IE, everything was quite dark, almost all black), but the light areas were very nice and looked nice.

  No swapping of brightness, contrast, ambient light or color profile can make me see a difference between A, B, C, D and E.

  I don't see anything other than black on the 1% to 11%, the entire screen is identical except for the color bands black wall, regardless of the brightness, contrast, ambient light or color profile. high color test page, it's completely black for a solid 2cm to the right of the aqua line where the color bars are supposed to become visible.

  no doubt I'm super stupid something, but is it compatible with (3014 or non-3014) results others?

  I never noticed this on my 3008 old, but scrolling up and down a website (dark text on a light background) leaves a final trail after any text. It's a life decent 1 mm or more in length if I deliberately make my speed to maximize the effect. It is always easy with a slower scrolling, but not as along a trail, and with very fast scrolling it is masked by the scale of the image shift is therefore not particularly notable.

  just scroll up and down in the preview pane of this type, it is extremely sensitive. I'm 100% sure that I would have noticed this on my old monitor.

  It's very distracting during web surfing normal use.

  open to any thinking about the settings or anything, I could do wrong.

  probably a coincidence, but I have also 2 pixels light blocked - white very noticeable on funds that are colorful, but very hard to see on a black background (I think that this is related to the poor performance of black).

  I bought in Australia, and I posted this same content on a forum local tech to get feedback from there too. I'd be very keen for a response from a Dell representative. I was very happy with my 3008 old and never had a problem with it until he died recently.

  False alarm on the poor black performance - was a driver issue. Black level performance on this model is good/fine. AMD/ATI driver has been failing to a large negative of brightness of the software. Still not having luck with the bad pixels, but it's not as much of a problem - a simple replacement will fix this. The Ghost is not as bad too, now that I've fixed this driver issue.

• Oops!  I changed my style sheets! -Help!

  Hi all

  Okay - I'm clearly new to css.

  I have a load of forms and lists created with MEASURE in my site - and using the Arktic style.

  I created another form tonight using the Aqua style.

  I don't really like the Aqua style, and since I don't use not anywhere else in the site I thought I would make a few changes.

  So I clicked on the form - then clicked on the button "Current" in the CSS Styles, then double clicked in the box, then changed the background and color of the text.  I've done this for all the different parts of the shape (about 8 or 9 changes) and then he previewed in firefox.

  It was beautiful.

  However, ALL other forms in my site based on the stylesheet Arktic have now taken on this same design - and worse - I remember enough to get the Aqua / changed the design of back to normal.

  So 2 questions.

  1. is there somewhere I can get the default Aqua / style sheets Arktic to correct my idiocy.

  2. what I did wrong!

  Create another site, add a form, get the default CSS and copy CSS for your site with modified CSS located in includes/skins/aqua. Backup your site in the future in order to avoid mishaps like this.

  Skin shares a CSS file for your site. Look at the source code of your pages and you will see the same referenced css file. So if you make a change in the style of a form on a page it will change the style of all forms that share this style defined through classes and ID in css and configuration in your form. A simple way to change the style of a shape would be to copy the CSS and rename it to something else. This CSS reference on the page change, you want a style to your form. Otherwise, you need to learn more about CSS to change the classes and IDS that call styles in your form.

  Hi, I'd be an experienced Web Designer could give me their honest opinion on my first website I've done using Dreamweaver. I intend to redesign the site that I better know HTML and CSS now however I would like to know how I could improve the site. Don't worry about criticism that I have a very thick skin and my ultimate goal is to become a web designer so feel free to give me your brutally honest opinion.   A couple more comments if you allow me, strictly from the point of view of the Visual design.

  I like where you're going with this, but I think you should work on tone up a bit to the bottom of the color palette. Do not distract the viewer too much content that you try to give them - too many different colours can be jarring and painful.

  I like the color scheme throughout the header - and in the context of this header graphic, the different colors on the inside work harmoniously and beautifully. But the solid background color you use behind the site, the greenish type you have in your text headings and the blue of your buttons all work against this initial color scheme. I suggest you harmonize colors throughout the site so that you don't have quite as much variety.

  Variety is good, up to a point. Then it would all just chaotic. I think that if you made so that the background color were the same magenta tint as a header - or better yet, keep things simple by just solid black background - which will go a long way. In addition, it may even for the lines of text. Choose a shade that is more in line with your head and you immediately have a more consistent look-and-feel.

  Then, by looking at the graph of the header itself - beautiful work. But it doesn't ruin by using the incorrect file for the image format. I guess it's a GIF, because I see that the dither pattern created during the save for Web and devices steps. I advise to use JPEG for images that have a photographic content. GIF is better for the buttons, logos, type, everything that has a number limited colors and details. JPEG is best for a wide range of color and photos, like this header image.

  I think that the 'Fashion Stars' text at the top of the header reached exactly the effect you are going for. I think a cast of Gothic style might be a bit more on the "goth" side of things and less on the side "glam" of things, so consider something a little more elegant. Against the background color black-ish that you set the logotype is also working on the wonderfully bright background of the header image. Considering that we're looking at what appear to be married / style prom dresses, you really want to pump up the glam factor. So try a larger font for the logo, lose the black background and try maybe white text with a little (just a little you mind) shadow to bring out of the background image.

  As far as your headers go, play with CSS a bit - there are lots of cool things you can do. On the one hand, I'd lose the "BOLD" in favour of a somewhat large font size - in a serif font, "BOLD" just do not get that elegant look that you are trying here, so lose it altogether. Try something like a rule (solid line) under your headers. This can be achieved with a simple CSS rule {border-bottom: white 1ps Uni ;} for example, will be but a white line continues beneath your header and the line will extend to the right of the page.} A nice way to separate your sections.

  Your navigation (the buttons) is not quite as polished as I think that you can achieve with a little practice - if you are really keen on the Aqua look you are going for here, there are a ton of Photoshop tutorials, you can Google that will give you better results. I'm personally not a big fan of this Aqua look in a site like this - you might be better served with a simple and elegant style tab menu, or even simply clean text might work ok with a bit of CSS massaging. You can also try a BAR button - in other words, a bar graph that extends the same width as the header above her image. Not too big - maybe <60px tall,="" with="" the="" menu="" items="" inside.="" i="" believe=""> http://www.intelliresponse.com has something like that, if you are interested to see what I mean. Of course, their site is much more 3D and high technology and is not really suitable for your target market, but I want to just talk about the bar of navigation under the header image.

  Well, I hope that gives you some tips. If this is your first attempt at a web site, then you are doing really well. I have a ton of college students who don't do well from the start.

  Continue to ask questions and keep listening different tips and soon you will be pumping the quality Web sites!

  Dear forum Support from Toshiba,

  I was faced with a problem with my laptop Satellite A100-338.
  I'm not able to use on the enclosure. I tried to play audio / video (CD / DVD) but the President is not functional, no sound!

  If I connect the headphones, I could hear the sound through it.
  Perhaps problemwith aboard the speaker.

  Could help me find any control routine to check if the laptop speaker works or not.

  To be honest, you have already performed a routine check and found that this problem is not related to a faulty audio driver or sound card.
  Due to the fact that your headset is working and you can hear the sound, I guess that your speakers are faulty or the switch inside the headphone jack does not work as it should.

  In both cases, the ASP must be contacted because this is related to the material and only the technician could help you.

  Hey Steve, just as an FYI
  Outlook has that ability (configuration just a rule of automatic transfer)... but... Using Exchange if there are better ways to do it on the server. You can configure for automatic transfer to a different e-mail address (either by leaving a copy in the box the letters original or not) and easiest for the new exec see the old emails is to give the new rights exec on the box to the letters and simply add the additional data file to the new account execs.

  Four things are needed for the transparent icon backgrounds:

  (1) Control Panel > system properties > advanced > Performance settings > VisualEffects - check "use shadows for icon labels.
  (2) make a right click on desktop-> rearrange icons by > lock Web items must be deleted.
  (3) If you have any web content on your desktop, transparency won't work. To search for web content: display properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web - make sure that all check boxes are clear.
  (4) wallpaper must be an image file, not html. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

• The President will not play

  The President of my g7 Pavilion will not play. It works with headphones or external speakers. A computer repair shop, said that the IDT pilot was missing. The tech guy at the place where I bought the PC said if the pilot was missing or not working is not without audio would play at all even on the helmet. How can I determine if the speakers are inop or simply has not been activated properly etc?

  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you are finished, stop the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  Left click 'Speakers and headphones' (or speakers/HP) once to highlight and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.
