The question of the CSV export

I have a report that contains the columns that appear in the query, but I do NOT show them in the report. In other words, some field have the unchecked 'Show'. I would like to include some of these fields in my CSV Export. If I click on the icon for editing a field, I see I have an option where 'The column' is set to 'No' and ' Include in Export' is set to 'Yes'. "

If I have a column where "show column" is NOT and "Include on export" YES, this column must be in my export to CSV file? In my case, this field does NOT appear in the CSV file.

Bottom line - I need to have in my Export to CSV, columns that are not displayed on my page of report.

I use APEX 3.1.

Thank you!
John

  • Small bug in the CSV export

    Hello world
    I have a report page that shows the results of a SQL sentence.
    In report attributes > ReportExport I put the name of the CSV file dynamically using the substitution string: in the file name text box, I put some thing as & P100_CSV_FILENAME. and everything works fine.
    But if I change the model of report for export: CSV, substitution does not work!

    Anyone experienced the same thing?
    Is this a known issue?
    Is there a work around?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi OScar,.

    The file name for a report of Export: CSV is pulled the title of the region. Normally, you can put in & XXXX. in this framework and it would result in the value of the page XXXX element when the page is rendered. However, as the Export page: CSV is not made, it does not have this translation. I don't see a work around to do this, then maybe you can ask an "improvement" to the next version?

  • Problem out to the CSV export

    Hello

    I can't get the following to export to a csv file:

    Get-file $folder | get-vm | %{ $_. Name; ($_ | get-datastore | select Name). Name} |

    Export-Csv test.csv -NoTypeInfo

    For a reason unknown to me it will only export to a text file.

    Thank you

    If you have virtual machines that are stored in multiple data warehouses, you can do it like this

    Get-Folder $folder | Get-VM |
    Select Name, @{N="DS Name";E={[string]::Join(',',(Get-Datastore -RelatedObject $_ | Select -ExpandProperty Name))}} | Export-Csv test.csv -NoTypeInfo

    If I try to use the wizard to export (from results of filter) it just turns and turns and never makes a save window. He does this for hoarding last night.

    My brain was not fire any wood when I wrote this. I tried to export after that display of the filter results page (one that shows the first 2,000 records). Do from there with a million database will not work. For a later use of those who read this thread, you must click the filter of the hierarchy via the small black arrow and click on "export". It will also speed things to make a touch display that is unqiue only the details you need. This will allow the system to generate the csv files on the backend and e-mail of the user running when the charge is complete. It will be available for download at the bottom of the window today Eloqua.

  • OBIEE 11.1.1.7 CSV export order to the wrong column

    When you export a view with PDF/PPT/XLSX the column order is correct.

    If I use CSV, TAB separated or XML almost always order is correct.

    But now it happened that the order is just the wrong way autour.

    View:

    Column A column B column C

    XSLX export:

    Column A column B column C

    Export CSV (false):

    C column B column A

    Is there a workaround/solution option to influence that?

    The CSV does not export the view like the fact of XLS/XLSX, CSV taking the columns in the criteria tab, so it can also export columns excluded according to your table.

    Hello

    A long time have not posted in the VMWare forum... I have a script which generates the host UpTime and export the result to CSV file. When I run the script manually through PowerCLI./Get-HostUpTime.ps1 it works fine and it sends the file updated, however, when the script runs through the Windows Task Scheduler, it works very well but is not updated the CSV file and it always sends the former.

  • The call for a process when you click the link export v4.1.1.00.23

    Version 4.1.1.00.23

    Hello

    I have 6 Classic reports on the page.

    Each report has link active Export.

    I need to insert the set of results that is questioned about the report in a table. Each report is independent of each other.

    Each report has its own table to insert the result set in.

    My thought was to call a process Page when a user has clicked on the link export, but the process is not known. I put: apex_application.g_print_success_message: = 'Insert '; in the process of the Page to tell if the process was called. I think that the process is not called because the page is not sent when the user clicks on the link to the export. It is purely a guess.

    What I tried:

    Working with just the first report, I created a page element hidden in the region of the report and created a calculation before heading for the region ID.

    SELECT region_id
    FROM   apex_application_page_regions
    WHERE  application_id = :APP_ID AND
           page_id = :APP_PAGE_ID AND
           region_name = 'My First Report Region'

    Then on the wording of the link for the link export in the attributes report I put:

    < a href = "f? "p = & APP_ID.:124: & SESSION.: FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT_R & P124_ESSCSD_REGION_ID._en - us" > Export CSV - my first data reports < /a >

    The Condition, that I used in the process of the Page is:

    Point process: submit now - after calculations and Validations

    PL/SQL -: REQUEST = FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT_R & P124_ESSCSD_REGION_ID._en - us

    of course, that didn't work so I tried it - "FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT_R" | & P124_ESSCSD_REGION_ID. | "_en - us

    and I tried it - "FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT_R" | : P124_ESSCSD_REGION_ID | "_en - us

    None of which worked.

    SO, can someone help me with a solution called a process to insert the data in the report, when the Export link is called?

    What information can I I provide/clarify?

    Thank you

  • When you try to import data from csv address book, less than half of the csv fields are available for mapping.

    I exported my Outlook contacts to a CSV file. When you try to import the CSV file into Thunderbird, only some CSV fields are listed in the field mapping tool. More important still, e-mail addresses aren't in the list.

    There is a long discussion of importing csv here:

    https://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/topics/importing_windows_live_contacts

    Essentially, you must edit the csv in an editor of spreadsheet or csv file to make it compatible with the address book of TB.

  • The monitoring of test data to write in the CSV file

    Hi, I'm new to Labview. I have a state machine in my front that runs a series of tests. Every time I update the lights on the Panel with the State. My question is, how is the best way to follow the test data my indicators are loaded with during the test, as well as at the end of the test I can group test data in a cluster, and send it to an another VI to write my CSV file. I already have a VI who writes the CSV file, but the problem is followed by data with my indicators. It would be nice if you could just the data stored in the indicators, but I realize there is no exit node =) any ideas on the best painless approach to this?

    Thank you, Rob

    Yes, that's exactly what typedef are to:

    Right-click on your control and select make typedef.

    A new window will open with only your control inside. You can register this control and then use it everywhere. When you modify the typedef, all controls of this type will change also.

    Basically, you create your own type as 'U8 numéric', 'boolean', or 'chain' except yours can be the 'cluster of all data on my front panel' type, "all the action my state machine can do," etc...

  • Call and save the reports/export to PDF using use?

    Hello

    My use is for the ".csv" files and works perfectly when read and load the files. But what would be really nice if I could somehow put the data in these files in their appropriate report templates and then export this report to a file '.pdf '.

    So, I tried to add:

    Call DataFileLoad ([Filepath], [Script]
    Call DataFileSave ([Filepath], ".") CT","CT")
    Call Report.LoadLayout ([the report path])
    Call Report.Sheets.ExportToPDF ([path to save .pdf], False)
    Call Report.Refresh
    Call Data.Root.Clear)

    «When I test the use by indexing a file manually, I get the message: Variable is undefined: «DataFileLoad»»

    So, if it is reading as a variable that suggest that it does not recognize functions unless they are specified in the sub?

    Is it possible to do what I want?

    Thank you.

    Hey Kevin,

    Your VBScript use cannot be called "red" DIAdem orders  The VBScript host that uses the use contains only basic functions VBScript more some specific commands to use, but none of the rest of orders DIAdem.

    You need to use a VBScript DIAdem script to load the data file, load the layout and save the PDF file.

  • Functions in pipeline for the csv data analysis?

    Hi all

    I currently have a pl/sql procedure that is used to load and parse a CSV file in a table of database within the Apex.

    Downloading csv files are quite large (nearly 1 million rows or more) and there is a time of significant waiting for the course ends. I tried both Wizard 4.2 data that was very slow loading and the apex plugin excel2collection who timed out/never finished.

    I heard functions in pipeline and how they can offer great time savings for insert instructions where the database lines have no interconnect/dependencies to each other.

    My question is, would the data through pipes to offer me a gain with my time insert statements, and if so someone could help me to implement? The current procedure is listed below, less any code validation etc. for readability. The CSV is first uploaded to a table in a BLOB file before be analyzed by the procedure.

    -- Chunk up the CSV file and split into a line at a time
      rawChunk := dbms_lob.substr(bloContent, numChunkLength, numPosition + numExtra);
      strConversion := strConversion || utl_raw.cast_to_varchar2(rawChunk);

      strColumns := replace(substr(strConversion,1,numLineEnd -numTrailChar),CHR(numSpacer),',');

      strLine := substr(strConversion,1,numLineEnd);
      strLine := substr(strLine,1,length(strLine) - numTrailChar);

      -- Break each line into columns using the delimeter
      arrData := wwv_flow_utilities.string_to_table (strLine, '|');

        FOR i in 1..arrData.count

         --Now we concatenate the Column Values with a Comma
          strValues := strValues || arrData(i) || ',';

        END LOOP;

          strValues := rtrim(strValues,',');

        numRow := numRow + 1; --Keeps track of what row is being converted

       -- We set/reset the values for the next LOOP cycle

        strConversion := null;
        strValues := NULL;

    I know it's quite elementary, please let me know if I am sous-prescrit anything in the question.

    I ended up doing in Excel, through a very laborious process that will probably be repeated by others.

    What a pity that there is no functionality in Oracle for this kind of data import more flexible. Analysts of data often throw himself spreadsheets that look like this (or 485 of them) who must enter data one way or another.
