Thank you for the information.  From what you describe, looks like the printer's mistake out there, but don't not giving much information about what is at the origin of the problem.  I found this document on the flashing of the patterns of light for your printer that should help you to find the cause of the problem and fix it.  If the document can help you to work around the problem, you may need to get a new printer.

You can try to remove and replace the memory and see if it works.

If this does not work, delete all except one module of memory (if the PC has more than one) and see if the PC works normally with the chip memory. If it beeps, remove and replace it with the memory you removed and keep doing that until you find the defective memory chip.

  • Trinitron TV turns off. The red light blinks 7 times

I have A FD Trinitron WEGA. It works perfectly for the past year 8 and a half. Recently, he died while we watch. The red on the front of the TV blinks 7 times. I wonder if a repair is required, and how much it will cost, thank you for your help.

    Hi joehui,

Check whether in the TV, clock/Timer is set. If so, disable the timed operation parameters.

If the TV is connected to a power strip or surge protector, remove the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the problem is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the TV.

Follow the steps below to perform a power reset:

    • Turn off the TV.
    • Unplug the power cord of the TV from the power outlet.
    • Let the TV remain without power for 60 seconds.
    • Plug the power cord into the power outlet.
    • Turn on the TV.

If the problem is still not resolved after following all the steps of troubleshooting, service may be required. Locate the centers of the closest authorized repair the link below.

    https://eService.Sony.com

The exact cost of the repair can be determined only after a physical examination of the TV. You can contact the service centers to know exactly the cost of repair.

  • BlackBerry 8900 smartphones will be no more power up and a red light blinks!

I have a new 8900 and put in place all OK.  It now will not power and all I have is the red light flashes intermittently. Have tried removing the battery but no joy.

Someone at - it ideas please?

If your BlackBerry is still under tension turned off with a black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life.  Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • Satellite A110 battery does not & will not work if the battery is connected

    Hello

I will try to regain control of the situation quite clearly.

    Product: Toshiba Satellite A110-149

Works fine on AC adapter / CC (Eve just a summary of the problem but because of Gentoo Linux, this used to work under Windows XP)

Original battery was dead. Not only there is no charge, but with this battery and the AC adapter absolutely nothing, not a single LED. No need to mention that I couldn't turn on the computer.

Bought a new battery at Eforcity.com
    -Replace: PA3465U-1BRS | 10.8V | 6600mAh (71Wh)

With this new battery and the AC adapter plugged in, I have the green power led and lighted orange recharge. But even after 8 hours and the computer off of the battery did not charge.
If I try to turn on the computer with this new battery in and the AC adapter is plugged in it starts to run, but after awhile it stops automatically, no question weather I start or enter the BIOS.

BIOS is Phoenix v1.50 and reset the default settings.
Also, downloaded the last OS independent 1.70 - WIN (bios - 20090121162419.zip), but is there a way to update without Windows?

I tried to just unplugged and press the power button several times (last test, I continued pressing more than 2 minutes for what counts)

I have clean the contacts with alcohol.

Would it be because of a fuse or capacitor I could replace myself or something?

    Any help would be grateful.

    Kind regards
    Charly

    Hello

I'm not quite sure what happened to the laptop, but first of all you need to know that laptop m should feed and must run properly if the AC adapter is plugged.
The isn t battery required to power the unit if the power adapter provides power for the laptop.

So if ONLY the battery would be affected, the unit must always turn sector.

This is why I think that its a serious hardware issue for example motherboard problem.

  • Laptop power light blinking and won't turn on

I have a laptop HP Pavilion 1045DX M6 and I recently tried to plug it into a screen RGB, analog and I saw a spark and the laptop off.

During this time, I ran the laptop directly from the adapter without battery because I don't really use it.

If the laptop is turned off and I tried to turn it back on and nothing happened. The charge indicator light turned off even though it was still plugged. I thought that maybe the power adapter does work more or something, but I tested it with a voltmeter and there was still power in.

So I decided to put the battery in the laptop was able to turn on, and after a while, it an area that I never felt heat it before was really hot and later felt like something was burning.

But anyway, when it started, the screen resolution was really weak and made a maximum brightness. When the laptop end of initialization, it randomly started to install drivers (such as WLAN rapid storage and intel) and Yes. Sound does not work either. I tried to connect the laptop back and battery does not charge.

I turned off and took out the battery and tried to run the AC adapter only but the light flickered constantly and when I press on it, the WiFi (F12) button light on for a second then back off the coast. I also hear that high frequency noise I have ever heard before somewhere in the laptop.

I've done a hard reset with no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you!

    Hi @djstar12 ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you have attempted to connect an analog RGB display and you saw a spark. The laptop off and then will not re-start. (the battery has been removed at the time). The light on the adapter was not turned on so you checked the voltage on the adapter and it was fine.

You tried power turn it on with the battery power and booted up with display dim and started to install the drivers, but you have noticed, it was getting very hot in a specific area. Also, you do not have audio and the battery does not charge.

Once again, you removed the battery and tried so that it starts with the adapter and the light on the adapter flashes continuously. You also hear the treble and when you tried to activate the wireless, he came for a second and then powered back off.

The only thing that I can suggest to test the adapter and the equipment.

Using and testing the power adapter AC

Test of hardware failures (Windows 7, Vista).

If you determine that it must be replaced or decide to buy a replacement, you can contact HP technical support for other options.

  • Satellite U series: Question about bypassing the battery when connected on AC

Hi, I am a bit newbie to PC Toshiba laptop (series U) and I was wondering if my laptop has this feature where it bypasses the battery when it is fully charged and the power supply cable is connected?
I see the battery blue led is on even when it is fully charged and the power is connected, it means that my computer is still using the battery?

I'm running a lot and I will not waste my battery life.
    Thanks for any comments.

    Hello

Congratulations on your new machine, I understand that worried you´re for your battery life. I was scared too, but a lot of people here in the forum told me that, in each new machine for many years (i.e. about 6 to 9 years) almost every laptop has an electronic charge that regulates the process of charge of the battery.

Don t worry, if your battery is fully charged, the built-in charging circuit is a special State that is as "cool cool" to maintain your battery and to protect the battery.
S better to keep the battery in the machine then removing it.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite A500 - Remove the battery when connected to the network?

    Hello

I bought a new Satellite 500 and I would use it as much as possible. I'm not sure the stage of development of this battery. Should I remove the battery when I use the laptop at all times with the net supply?
Or this does not damage the battery longer years yet there is, or is the problem of the destruction of the battery because of the heat and being reloaded frequently persists?

I'm sorry if I could post to redundantly, but it is difficult to search for information, since I'm not a native speaker.
I encourage you just for a small tip for a related thread if available.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

To be honest, I often work with connected AC/DC adapter, but I never removed my battery. Sometimes I decide to work in another room and then I just unplug the AC adapter and that s all the! :)

  • Laptop crashes after the battery is connected, must charge laptopn until I use it... irritating

My laptop caused a lot of problems and I don't know why. This is beacause of my driver problem? By the way, my laptopn was bought in year 2007 while the driver is old enough so it's because of my driver? My battery seems fine, I bought it not too long because my previous charged was broken and the new charger autour cost $99.So can someone help me?

You have a hardware problem-the battery, the charge adapter, the connections between then, or maybe even something else (I can't say without testing).  It is possible the battery you bought is not exactly compatible with your system, if it was not EXACTLY the same battery.  I recommend that take you to a repair shop of computer good reputation for service and a diagnosis of the problem.  You could also send it to the manufacturer for service.  Compare the costs, the calendar, warranties, parts availability, reputation and any other factor consider you important and make your choice.

Why are removing you the battery in any way - why isn't she always left in the laptop and the charger plugged in during the night (even if the system is stopped) in order to regain full battery charge and this problem never occurs (even if you still have a problem that needs to be fixed - at least irritation will decrease until get you it fixed)?

And what driver are you talking about?  You said nothing about what driver for this device or is that the problem or when it occurs or when he started or whatever it is - and we have need to know these things to help.

I hope this helps.  Please answer the questions above before repair in case we discover another possible cause that can avoid this need.

    Good luck!

  • The battery still connected

    Hello

I have X 230 with battery 6 cells. Now most of the time the laptop is connected to the power supply. What is the best power plan to keep the battery in good condition?

    should I remove the battery?

    Thank you

    Abed.

What I do is I click on battery lenovo button and set it to start to load when my battery is less than 85% and stops when it hits 89% load. This prevents go through so many other cycles of battery I think.
