the requested operation is possible in online only mode

Team,

The user is confronted with error below, whenever he tries to save all modules.

«"the requested operation is possible only online to online and try «»

I checked the site of the ISS is running. Please help,

Rgds,

0 start PUK Client 12.1 and see the status in the lower right. If it is online, you need not check the database you connect using the accounts ODSERVER and ODSERVER_APP inside

If it has disconnected you must perform the procedure for two users below because some of them has the password has expired.

1 check the port of database and log identifying information by connecting to the database using ODSERVER, do and ODSERVER _APP, of course, they are all unlocked.

2. If you are not able to connect using these accounts in the database, and you do not know the password for them, (ODSERVER, ODSERVER_APP must have the same password, decrypt the file web.config for the PUK and lower ranks and follow the steps.)

3. change the passwords for ODSERVER, ODSERVER_APP (owner of the PUK schema) in the database using the old existing password!

NOTE: the two ODSERVER, ODSERVER_APP must have THE SAME PASSWORD

example:

Start > run > cmd

sqlplus system/passwordupk

ALTER USER ODSERVER IDENTIFIED BY New_password;

ALTER USER ODSERVER_APP IDENTIFIED BY New_password;

Unlock accounts:

ALTER USER ODSERVER ACCOUNT UNLOCK;

ALTER USER ODSERVER_APP ACCOUNT UNLOCK;

##########################################

STEPS to decrypt the web.confing to see the password for the ODServer account, in case you don't know.

-Open a command prompt as an administrator (run as administrator) on the Web server where the PUK is installed

-Change the location of C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319

Start > run > cmd > run as administrator > cd C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319

-Run the following command:

Aspnet_regiis.exe - pd "connectionStrings" - app /ODSContent - to decrypt web.config UPK12.1

In case you have PUK and KCenter installed under different Web site, and then default Web Site, you will need to use the commands below to decipher:

example:

Aspnet_regiis - pdf "connectionStrings" "C:\Program Files (x 86) \User productivity Kit\UPK developer 12_1Server\Repository.WCF.

ENCRYPT:

Aspnet_regiis.exe - pe "connectionStrings" - app /ODSContent - to encrypt web.config UPK12.1.

=============================================

also telnet 1521 the DB server window server.  Stat IIS server. check the profile to the right of the PUK SDK. If you need to change the profile.

  • "The requested operation requires a rise." How do I get there?

I am connected to a Vaio under Vista Business SP2; I have administrator privileges.  The Vaio has wireless to work for my Internet gateway, but he is unable to make a reference to primary DNS my ISP.

All the things that I tried to fix this have doomed to failure, because "the requested operation requires a rise."  As I'm already logged as an administrator (using the user account only on the machine), what can I do?

To run high, you right click on the program, you are from (for example, the line command) and click on "run as Administrator".

  • "The requested operation requires a rise." What does that mean?

I am installing a program through CD and an error message when running file keeps telling me, "the requested operation requires a rise." -What this means and what I can do about it?

You can solve this problem, you click on the right button of the mouse on the Setup (for example, setup.exe) and use the menu "run as administrator".

You are the only standard user without admin rights and this way switch you to administrator rights to install the new application.

  • "The requested operation requires a rise."

Before installing Win 7 I saved a bunch of files and folders on an external hard drive. Tonight, when I tried to look at text files, I had created in Open Office, I got the error message "the requested operation requires a rise". If I right click and go to 'Properties' tab 'Security' and 'user or group name' there is a red question mark followed by a long row of numbers. (A reference to my existence of XP? Other names in this area to refer to my current system). There are options to change the permissions on 'Edit' and 'Advanced '. I don't like on these files, but I didn't change any settings that might adversely affect the program or the files of 'parent '.                                                                                                                                                              (When I created this title I had links to the forums of Vista, but the issues do not cover my problem.)

The long row of numbers that you see in the list of accounts on the Security tab is called security ID (or a SID).  When Windows does not recognize the security identifier associated with file ACL (Access Control List / Permissions) it displays the SID.  Normally, Windows will be able to translate this SID in an account name or an alias, such as "domain\username".

It seems that the original permissions are always associated with the files you are trying to access to and they are considered alien to the computer you are trying to access it from.  To open these files, you will need to take possession of them and give you access to read (or write/edit/delete).  This is the error message occurs.  "The requested operation requires an elevation" means that, in order to open the file, you will need high approval of a local administrator to capture and access.

You may already be logged on to your system as a user who is a member of the local administrators, but Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 offer additional layers of security to help protect your system.  This is called UAC or control user access.  Basically, even if you are the administrator Windows protects certain administrative functions with another layer of security.  You've probably seen the screen getting dimmed and a dialog asking you if you want to continue or cancel a certain operation.  It's UAC asking if you are really really really sure about what you are about to do and ensure that you're the only one doing it and not a red process or virus trying to take charge.

In order to change the ownership of files that you can...

    1. go the properties of the folder that contains the files that needed to take possession of
    2. click on the Security tab
    3. click on Advanced
    4. click on the owner tab
    5. click on Edit...
    6. Select the account name in the change in ownership to the list that you want to support
    7. check the box, replace the owner of subcontainers and objects
    8. click on OK

The ownership information will be updated on all objects in the folder including subcontainers (or subfolders).  Depending on the number of files and folders in your starting point there do this take a long time to complete.  Once it is down you will be able to change the security permissions you want to the files and folders (for example, control total, read-only, read & write, etc.).

NOTE: If you are not logged in as administrator on your system, the above steps will work not like taking possession of object file requires administrator privledges.

  • Error message "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation" when running SFC scan.

As suggested, I tried to run scannow to repair Windows Vista.  I did, but then the scan only ran up to 76%, I received the message: Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation. "How can I complete the scan and fix my Windows Vista computer

    Hi rdoran,
You perform the steps from the administrator account?

To determine which files can be repaired by the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
    Step 1:

NOTE: When SFC is running, it records its actions in the C:\WINDOWS\LOGS\CBS\CBS. NEWSPAPER. You can find specific entries of SFC searching [SR] tags in the newspaper.

For how, see the SFC analysis details in the CBS. JOURNAL:

    * Open an elevated command prompt.

    * In the elevated command prompt, type findstr/c: "[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log > %userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt and press ENTER.

    * Close the elevated command prompt.

    * Click the sfcdetails.txt file just set your desktop to see the SFC scan details (those with the tags [SR]) to the CBS. NEWSPAPER.

    * You can safely delete the sfcdetails.txt file later if you wish.
Reply back with the details in the log file.

If it does not help to complete the scan, you can complete the steps below and check out them.

You're able to boot in safe mode ?

    Step 2:

For more information on how to log in to safe mode, see the following Microsoft article:

If you're able to boot in safe mode, you can perform a scan of the file system (CFS) auditor.

    Reference:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Step 3:

In addition, you can connect to the command prompt and check the drive for errors, and check if that makes things more simple.

At the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    Chkdsk /r

Note: If bad sectors are detected when running check disk utility and attempt recovery of bad sectors is verified during the verification of the drive for errors, data in the bad sector can be lost as they tried to recover bad sectors.

  • Parse error SFC "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation".

Original title: my computer is messed up, and I'm unable to fix

    (1) double click on files will open in a new window
    (2) not possible to delete several records
I tried to find and implement several solutions found on these forums for the 1st problem listed above. I tried to go into folder options and disable double click open files option and I tried to replace with original system files according to the http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-files/folders-open-in-new-window-despite-folder-option/5fba3897-7655-4068-8992-2d8b20063b3f and nothing has worked. I tried to run the command prompt in administrator mode to scan files using the command "sfc/scannow" and even that did not work, as when checking for 59%, it says "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation"
I tried to create new administrator user accounts and the problem persists.
I am also unable to delete some files. Internet Explorer would be my best and later example. I ran microsoft update, it installed IE10, and I was unable to start IE. I have not found in the list of uninstaller, so I tried to delete the files manually but Icould do not, that I needed approval from "TrustedInstaller". I played a bit with permissions and gave myself all permissions, with the exception of special permissions (which was grey), and then he said I needed the permission of 'Administrators' when I tried to delete the folder. Well, I'm on my administrator account, what the devil?
I ran some virus scans of Malwarebytes Anti-malware, Virus of Sophos, Microsoft Security Essentials, and 2013 Bitdefender removal tool and removed something taken before implementing ALL the solutions mentioned above attempts. Try a system restore after that these scans completed, I discovered that I had no restore point before the installation of the Microsoft fix - it (i.e. when I was first trying to tackle these questions)
Is there something I can do?

You could make a backup of the image to a DVD or disk.

  • Cannot send photos "there are no associated program to perform the requested operation."

    original title: Windows live mail

I configured my gmail account in my windows live mail client. yesterday, I tried to send e-mail from the same gmail account to a friend, mail is sent successfully. but they were not able to open the images. I tried to view the slide show on my computer, then I got the error message "requested action cannot be performed, there is no associated program to perform the requested operation" then I tried to download the same images again, I got the same message. I tried to change the extension of all formats of image (for example, .jpg and .jpeg) but still, I had the same problem of association. I tried to change the registry because I had the article on the microsoft Web site, also I did system restore and reinstalled WLM also. HELP PLZ

    Hello

1 have. what article you tried?

2 is the issue limited to Windows Live Mail?

3 is the issue limited only with a specific file extension?

Check out the following and check:

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Try opening the file in the Windows Photo Viewer and check if you are facing the issue.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/view-and-use-your-pictures-in-Windows-Photo-Viewer

    Step 2:

A default program is the program used by Windows when you open a particular type of file, such as a music file, an image, or a Web page. For example, if you have more than one web browser installed on your computer, you can choose one of them to be the default browser.

This option allows to choose which programs you want Windows to use, by default.

If a program does not appear in the list, you can make the default program using set Associations.

    1. open default programs by clicking the Start button, then programs by default .

    2. click associate a file type or Protocol with a program.
    3. click on the file type or protocol that you want the program to act as the default value.
    4. click on the program of change.
    5. click on the program that you want to use by default for the selected file type, or click the arrow next to other programs to show other programs. (If you don't see other programs or your program is not listed, click Browse to find the program that you want to use and then click Open
    6. click on OK.

For more details follow the link below:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-which-programs-Windows-uses-by-default

    Method 2:
Try to create a new user account and check if you have the same problem.
    To create a user account
    1. to open user accounts, click the Start button, click Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety, and then click user accounts .
    2. click on Manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. click on to create a new account.
    4. type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on an account.

For more information follow the link below:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/create-a-user-account

If it works in the new user account, the user account may be corrupted.

To fix the damaged user profile, you can check the link below:

Please answer with repair options and details on where to go to get there.

If safe mode can't complete, it can be continuous malware (run malwarebytes) so clean, you will probably have to run a repair installation.

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
    Update immediately.
Do a full scan of the system

    Hi NooriSAN,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem, you cannot unlock a drive locked by Bitlocker key and get error message: "Could not complete the requested operation due to a catastrophic media failure or corruption of data on the disk structure."

This could be if defective media stored on database security, or a program in the security software error has caused corruption on disk.

For reference I suggest you to return the items mentioned below.
