The router RSV4000 does support multiple public IP addresses

I have a client who has a RSV4000 router. The customer also bought a block of 5 usable public IP addresses. I need to be able to assign these public IP addresses for printers, either by configuring a static IP address on each printer directly or through mapping of intellectual property or any other method. Made support for RSV4000 using several treats public IP and if so what configuration is required in the router for printers to be seen by the outside world.

Hi Winston,

Thank you for posting. The functionality you need is one-to-one NAT, who does not have the RVS4000. Please watch the RV042 or RV220W for this feature.

  • The switch SLM224G does support VLAN per port?

I'm looking for a simple solution create two LAN. One for my own and the other for my clients, who will be able to use the desktop computer with internet access. I only have one internet connection (ADSL over ISDN) and wil not get another just for my clients.

My own network should not be accessible or visible to users who use the PC clients. The other way around is authorized, but not really necessary. My setup requires me to connect to the switch to the (ISP) router, and the router has a LAN port not able to do anything related to VIRTUAL networks.

I read on the VLAN port to put here, where it is stated that creating separate LAN is just the ports in VLANS on the switch, nothing else to do... However, they used a NetGear smart switch.

I checked SLM224G of Cisco because it is affordable, has 24 ports (instead of 8 for the NetGear) and must support of VLAN. I read a lot about VIRTUAL networks, including:

«- Means the VLAN per port that you can reconfigure the ports to be in different VLANS.» VLAN per port does not confirm the 802. 1 q supported VLANS.

-802. 1 q VLAN means you can mark the VLANS with 802. 1 q headers to create a trunk between two devices carrying frames for several VLAN. 802 1 q VLAN confirms that there are also supported VLAN per Port. »

I knew by the sheets that the SLM224G supports 802. 1 q (tagged) trunking. So it should be, given the text above, also supports VLAN per port.

My question is if it indeed will support VLAN per port?

I am able to use it directly behind the router of my ISP and create two separate LAN?

If so, a supplementary question: how are the PC behind the switch (inside the two VLAN) removes the ISP router IP addresses? It will serve only of the two LAN or do I have to install a DHCP server in the other LAN?

    Any information is welcome!

    Thank you.

    Mr. Bertrand,

I read what you posted and I don't think the slm224g will do what your configuration you want to.  The reason behind all this, if you have installed 2 VLAN you will need 2 gateways for each network.  Since then just the ISP router and a network.  I'd get a router capable of VLANs and plug it into the router of the Internet service provider and then you can have up to 4 networks behind your router.  The rvs4000 is a router excellent gigabits, which supports up to 4 VLANS.  So if you need additional ports, you can get unmanaged switches and plug it into the router for added ports.

As the title suggests, the edition of 750 Ti GTX FTW Evga does support my office? I am currently engraged by the integrated graphics card because I can't run games on the settings I want and instead I have to stay with the lowest settings. I don't know if my BIOS version is supported by the card. I have again the dinky power came with the computer and if someone can tell me if it has the connector 6 - pin PCIE, which would be lovely. Also, it would be great if someone showed me a picture of the 6-pin PCIE if there. I thank you for reading, have a nice day!

    Hello

Your PC should be able to support the NVIDIA GTX 750.  Generally the NVIDIA GTX 750 with a few exceptions only requires a 300 Watt power supply.

HP 460 watt power supply has a PCI-E power connector 6 pin.

    Hello

I'll buy an Aspire Switch 10 soon, and in anticipation of this, I was going to buy a 64 GB microSD for her. I was wondering whether or not the Switch caught 10 supported UHS speed class. I looked at the manual of the product online, but it does not specify the speed supported class. As the site mention UHS speed class support or the manual, I guess he can't stand not SURE. But, I thought that I would tender hand to the community to see if someone had knowledge of this. =)

The Deskjet 1051 does Linux support via the HPLIP software? I bought this printer. Thank you very much.

  • Photoshop Fix does support multiple layers?

The new mobile application does support several layers just like old APP?

    Hi there, noahg!

To do this, but maybe not in the way you can imagine. Fix changes are saved in separate 'adjustment layers '. When you send it to another program, Photoshop for example, you are able to see the adjustments in the layer panel (unless you group your adjustments within Fix). For the moment, you cannot add other layers of the photo, but you can send to mix and add additional layers here.

Let me know if it helps!

    See you soon

  • Router sees Officejet 6700 computer Win7 sees the router computer does not see printer

All-in-one printer, HP Officejet 6700 sees Motorola Netopia DSL router model 2247-N8 (and vice versa). (The printer takes a valid IP address via DHCP on the appropriate wireless network and the router is able to ping the printer and sees the printer as a device on the wireless local area network). The computer Dell Studio XPS 9100 years under Windows 7 Home Premium sees the router and is able to surf on the web. The computer cannot see the printer, by rattling through or printing software HP and doctor Scan. I don't know where I have to turn at this point. Direction and/or messages, please? Thank you.

  • WRT120N Wireless laptop connected to the router, but does not connect to internet

I have a HughesNet HN9000 modem connected to a Linksys WRT120N router. I have two desktop computers, both running XP Home, connected to the router via ethernet .5e cables and work perfectly. I have a laptop running Vista Home Premium, I am trying to connect to the internet via the internal wireless card. According to me, the laptop connects with the wireless router, as it connects but says 'Local only' - it won't let me access the router IP/control panel. I tried to reset the router / modem as well as the parameters of the laptop, but I keep getting the same question.

If I connect the laptop and the port #3 on the router via a cable .5e I can browse the Internet. But I need to be able to use the laptop throughout the House so electrician is not an option.

I found this article which directed me to this download , which worked. If your help is most needed. Thanks anyway.

  • RV220W - multiple public IP addresses

    All, morning

I am setting up this new router from a client. I'm running on a question that I can't make it work. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help. They use IP addresses public 5. Currently the wan port on the router est.66 and I have all ports forwarded to the correct internal IP. It works very well. However, I need parts before else public IP (e.g. internal:.67) to IP address So far, I was able to achieve through the TAR one-to-one feature. It allows me to forward a port from a public IP address to a private IP address. However, I need to redirect ports 3 or 4 by public IP address to one address only internal. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? This router does not support this feature?

    Thank you

    David Rhea

    Hello David,.

How weird to put in place... but the nat from one to the other is the first step that you do. Once you transfer a port using nat one by one, and then you create an access rule. Create an ACL rule allowing traffic between wan and lan, what service/port you transfer, always allowm, fix ip source, destination ip, it's that you transfer the port too you would change the destination of the internet to others and then you should be able to fill the void of what another public address you are wanting to use. The test blank must be labelled internet destination ip:.

I hope that helps you out.

    Thank you

Previous versions of Firefox are supported several rows, but I can't information that allows me to do with this version, P.S. I am using a new computer with Win 8, but settled just a standard Firefox.
