  I have the Sansa clip 2 GB MP3 player. My Windows 7 detects it but do not open it. It is in the devices and printers, but is not in my computer. My laptop with Windows XP it opens but how to get to my files using Windows 7? And this is a problem with all the USB devices that I use in this computer.

  2 press and hold the Center button while connecting the device to the computer.

• On Windows 8, some widgets, such as the menu near the upper right button, stop working after awhile, and restored by restarting the PC.

  I use the latest versions of Firefox as soon as they are available on a PC in Windows 8. Firefox works fine, usually a few hours before the annoying problems manifest. The problem, that I address here is some widgets, including some widgets Firefox and widgets (such as buttons and selectors menu drop down) isolated in some sites stop functioning. In Firefox, the Menu button (the icon of three dashes stacked) stops working. And the download arrow sometimes stops working too. Sometimes, sub-items as printed stop working. A pull-down, the high and arrow down keys could still work even if I might now be able to select with the mouse. Closing and re-opening Firefox usually restores some functionality. However, I usually have to restart the PC to restore all the functions that has stopped working. So I'm good for usually a few hours yet. Another inconvenience, which others have addressed, is the appearance of Chinese characters - to research on the tab toolbar labels at the top. Restart Firefox gets rid of these for the moment.   I downloaded and installed the graphics driver that you recommended. The process went well. I have hardware acceleration disabled by an earlier recommendation to remove these Oriental characters.
  After two days of problem apparently having been fixed, I considered replying to report success. But before I could get around to doing so, abnormal behaviors reappeared. Thanks for confirming the source of these Oriental characters. Previous research indicates that the source was with McAfee or Firefox, a bit like a battle for "pointing the finger" in between.

  I'm sick of re-engineering random crap every time I update... How can I get "charge it" / "Refresh" button and the "stop" button back in FF 4.0? I am running SuSE 11.4 32bits. I am not no newbie, but I'm tired to do a kabuki dog dance each new version just came back to where I was before the 'new and improved... '. "Sorry for the flame but it gets old.

  A combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar is used in Firefox 4.
  
  During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.
  
  If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.
  
  You can middle - click this button Reload to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.

  If you want to move the buttons Stop and recharge in the position to the left of the address bar, you can use the following steps:

  • Open the window "view > toolbars > customize" to move the Stop button and reload the address bar.
  • Drag the buttons Reload and stop at their previous position to the left of the address bar.
  • Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.
  • Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise to get two separate buttons.

  Is there a way to play music storge on my sansa with a PlayStation3 video?

  I tried to connect with USB. The PS3 shows the sansa, but it only shows the files, no files at all.

  Try changing the clamp-Meteorological Service of Canada the USB mode.

  Moreover, if all the files have been transferred to the Clip in MTP mode, you may need to reload in MSC mode. I doubt that the PS3 can find files that have been loaded to MTP.

• Computer does not display the Sansa Clip

  For about a week, my computer no longer displays my Sansa Clip when I plug upward with the USB cable. I can still hear the computer, the connection of detection, but it does not show in Windows Explorer, as before. I checked the setting on the clip and it sees - USB - Auto detection. If I change this meteorological service of the Canada, Windows Explorer displays the clip and folders, but the folders are empty. However, the files are still on the clip and play. Need to know what is happening, so I can add other files to my clip.

  I just got a sansa clip MP3 player +.  I joined audible.com and downloaded a book on my computer.  I thought that it was downloaded on my sansa.  Where are the files in the menu of the sansa?

  Help!  I'm not tech saavy.

  Have you used the Audible Download Manager?  I think that's the recommendation until the end of files in the Audible folder on the Clip + and show up under the music/Audiobooks section.

  I just got my Clip more today.  One of the things I wanted to really be able to do was play through the small stereo I have in my room.  I did a little research before you buy the video and found that what I had to do was to buy a cord that had the stereo mini plug plug at one end and two RCA plugs at the other end.

  I connected the Clip on my stereo in this way, ensuring that choose "line in" the energy input to the system, but in this stereo which, otherwise, has more volume I have ever NEEDED, I hear just whats playing in the Clip, even with the volume on the stereo completely maxed out and the choice of 'stronger' selected on in the clip.

  Any ideas?

  The volume on the side of the clip must be turned up all the way, and the EQUALIZATION left on 'Normal' for a better result... but make sure that you turn the volume on your stereo first before you press play.

• Stereo does not read the Sansa Clip after firmware update

  I upgraded to the last 2.01.35a of the previous 32.

  Before that, my channel stereo would connect to the Clip and play songs using the USB connection, I can use the remote to change songs, now with the new update of the firmware it does not read the content of the Clip.  Clip said 'Connected', but the stereo repeat me 'Reading' forever.

  I came back to the previous version and it works again.

  Is there a problem with the latest version of the firmware?

  Also, since I was in Europe, Updater I updated the European version and this limited the volume a LOT.  So I downloaded the US version is now at normal volume.  The European version is too quiet and I can't hear a thing if there is a background noise. But still, the USB connection in the stereo works with version 2.01.32 and not 2.01.35.

  any ideas?
