The screen, Touch screen still works, how?

It happened last night. The last time the display worked I started a playlist for my shower. I adjusted the volume to once or twice without turning on the screen, and after drying off the music by removing the speaker again Jack without turning on the screen. The aircraft then went into the pocket of my shirt and I ate dinner and watched a movie, but when I tried to do a little surfing before bed the display does not illuminate. I saw him light up the buttons, but take a few seconds to display when the CPU is busy so I waited, nothing happened. I removed the battery and tried again, nothing on the screen. But then I discovered that the touch sensor is still working, I could slide to unlock and turn off in the standard mode just blind. I looked at all the stickers water they are both white and Red bright x

While writing this question (I'm sure many of you already know this fact), I discovered that my camera screen is actually three separate functional parts. The capacitive touch screen, always in activity on my camera, the LCD also still in operation and image generator the Led illumination source that lack of a more precise description is grilled.

So my question is how could happen, it's hardware or software, and what are my options?

This seems definitely related material for me. Is the phone still under warranty, by chance? Motorola has a repair service that will fix it for free, if it is still under warranty. If it isn't under warranty more there will be a flat fee of $110 for the repairs, which was the price for the last time I looked anyway.

Click on the link above if you want to see Motorola repair site. I hope this helps.
