• Webcam LifeCam Cinema is not in the LifeCam software, but works (in low def) with other programs.

  Just installed my LifeCam Cinema in the correct order (CD of the software first, then plug the webcam into a USB socket).   I'm not clear on the problem now. If you can find Drivers.cab in the c:\Windows\Driver Cache\i386 folder, then you should be able to look inside the it with something like WinZip or WinRAR and extract the SerScan.sys file on a location that can reach the installation of HP.

  By the articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base, I know that there are two legitimate versions of SerScan.sys, one for XP SP2 (ver. 5.1.2600.3029) and the other for XP SP3 (ver. 5.1.2600.5612). You need the right version for your own XP, so getting the Drivers.cab file on your own machine is the best method.

What I want to know is: 1 - is the software on the Palm (OS v4.0) the correct version or should I update? 2. is there a version of the desktop for Vista software that will work with the m500? I read a post that said 4.1.4e would work with Vista, but then I found a note that it won't work with multicore. (I bicoeur) 3 - (I know it's the software section but...) Can I get a USB dock for it? This one came with a serial cable. Thanks for any help!
