The user AD setAttribute questions

I try to use the AD_User.setAttribute method as part of an workflow to unlock a user account, I can read the attribute, but it does not appear to be written correctly.

My code is:

User.setAttribute ("lockoutTime", "0");

When the user is of type AD: User

The workflow runs successfully, but I can read the attribute and the lockoutTime value has not changed.

I'm this call correctly, or is this a bug?

It turns out that SSL is NOT required to do this. After a bit of back & comes with some internal contacts, I advanced and tried again in my dev environment...

Windows 2003 domain controller...

Set group policy to accounts to lockout during 120 minutes after 3 failed password attempts

Connection attempt 4 times with password invalid

experienced account has been locked

Confirmed my plugin announcement has been configured with and ADMINISTRATIVE account

The following code to unlock the locked account:

user.setAttribute('lockoutTime','0');

In the line above, 'user' is my AD account: User has been locked. After the execution of the workflow containing this code, I have confirmed that the user was more llocked outside and could connect to my Windows 2003 domain.

UPDATE: just as tested in a different environment to test this using a Windows 2008 R2 domain - same results as above. Account successfully unlocked using user.setAttribute('lockoutTime','0');

    now, when I log in User1 I am not able to see Administration tab where I can choose create user.
    I'm working on this issue for a few days, but not able to find the solution & I missed some configurations?

    I tried your scénarion... with clause below
    1) founded an organization-> human resources
    (2) created a role-> HR_Admins
    (3) assigned HR_Admins roles as the administrative role of human resources
    (4) user1 created with the Organization as a role of Human Resource & allocated HR_Admins to this user. : default role all users
    (5) permission policy created for the management of users with the following selections
    -> Create user authorization. :-* "Select ALL."
    Constraints data-> Selected "Users who are members of certain organizations" & selected above human resources organization.
    -> HR_Admins role assignment.

    Data constraints
    Organization security setting hierarchy aware (include all children's organizations)

    Now I am able to see the user tab to create, and I can create user in resources human org only.

    If it does not work for you. Just assign 'ADMINISTRATOR of REQUEST' in the AUTH POLICIES. The result of the test.

    Also, what is your version of the IOM?

    Test with updated as new role name, org, and user data.

  • I need to create a complex scenario that results represent the user choices

    Here's the scenario:

    The user answers 20 questions that offer every three choices (not a quiz).  Based on collated responses, a 'score' or 'level of advancement' leads to a specific page.

    So, if they answered questions and the "score" indicates they are a beginner on average, a page will load with links to resources for a beginner.

    If they are advanced, an advanced results page will load etc.

    The problem is that there is no right or wrong answer, these are attitudinal and behavioural issues.

    I want to also create five categories with a percent complete when they arrive at the page "score" relevant to their level there are five bars indicating their level of development in each of the five categories, and if they are at beginner level into three categories, intermediate to that and advance to one pictured, but the collective means of 'mark' are a way of "Beginner".

    I have never attempted anything of this complex, would appreciate an overview.

    I don't really agree with rod that questions could not be used at all the. I used MCQ to create sort of a survey measuring more than once. Here is an example of a different use case, but perhaps you will see the link to what you want to achieve:

    A brief look at the code, I noticed the following:

    • It seems that you are passing in the SequenceContext to the UIMonitor reference, but the UIMonitor expected an applicationManager reference.  You must pass this (a reference to the current applicationManager) in your sequence instead:

      RunState.Engine.GetInternalOption (InternalOption_ApplicationManager)


    • In addition, you will need to change the reference to applicationManager in your monitor to a reference rather than a container activeX (otherwise you will create a new instance of the applicationManager).  The best way to proceed is to change it to a constand, then return to a control.

    I am unable to run your code due to lack of dependencies, then please let me know if you still have problems after the implementation of the foregoing.

    Background:

    I created a questionnaire in which the user must answer each question correctly before to proceed to the next slide. That's what I did:


    • Set preferences Settings > required > respond to everything - the user must answer each question to continue
    • Set the number of attempts at the level of the question to infinity
    • Made the Next invisible button and disabled the PlayBar

    In this way, the user can proceed to the next slide in the issue with the submission process - and, since attempts are endless, this means that after having answered the question correctly.

    Current objective:

    I want the user to be able to click on a prompt for a hint. To configure this, I did the following:

    • Created a smartshape titled 'click_for_hint' to display the text that says: "click here for a tip.
    • Created a smartshape labelled 'hint' text display
    • Show "hint" success value "click_for_hint".

    Now, when the user clicks on the text that says: "Click here for a hint," the suspicion appears. So it works - great!     Is there a way to make the slide to wait until the answer to the question correctly before moving on to the next slide, even after the indicator has been activated?

    Are you aware that your required parameter can cause problems, the blocking of the user?     I am allowing the user to enter a specific number of characters in the field (for example, COUNTRIES with a maximum of chacratars is 3, as the USA), so I put a posting on the VALIDATION MODEL, works very well, but, say, the user is entered in CANADA... my popup form Testament error message, some maximum is 3 characters only... then, the user presses the OK button on the pop-up window... and no has NOT resolved the problem (user suppose to do CANADA can), jumped and... continued to enter data into the rest of the fields... but I want to STOP the user THERE IT SELF!

    Unless and until the user formatting LAMBASTS (maximum number of characters here) question, shape/system must not allow the end-user to go further / to enter data in other areas/grey all the REST of the stuff... User must set to go ahead. Pls let me know how I can get it?

    I'm not sure what exactly your needs.

    If you want to hide all other objects in a subform, and then test the user on the event entry exit. If user input does not exceed three characters, then you could show the subform.

    Does this sound like a solution?

  • The user of FrameMaker start question

    I have almost zero experience with Framemaker.  During my days of thesis, I used framemaker for a short time and returned to the latex!  Finally, 10 years, I've been using Microsoft Word.

    Now, after I've finished about 30% of the book, my Publisher is pushing me to move to Framemaker.  (I have concluded that this thing of Framemaker is the BEST software EVER WRITTEN or my Publisher really really hate Microsoft Word!)  :-):-))

    As everyone here has more experience with Framemaker, I ask for advice on the following:

    I have about 10 chapters in a book of engineering graduate with a large number of visio diagrams, tables and a large NUMBER of equations.  Equations were created using Microsoft Word 2007 Equation Editor.

    I first have to import the given in a book in framemaker and then continue to write in Framemaker.  I do not have the luxury to learn first of all the software for several hours and then start using it.  I'm looking for so for pointers on a quick way to get productive with it.

    Here are my specific questions:

    1. What is the best way to reliably import the current word document in a framemaker book?  (Currently, it's a single word file and is one of the reasons to move to Framemaker to be able to deal with the separate files for each chapter.  I don't mind create a separate for each chapter in Word file - if it comes to that.)

    2. What is the best place to learn more about how to perform the task described in the previous question?

    3. What is a good reference - either electronic or the dead - trees version I need once I start using Framemaker?  The software I have is Framemaker 9.0, and it seems to be still too recent for books.  But it is pretty close to Framemaker 8 can I go out with one more book for my current needs?

    4. how import Visio diagrams works with Framemaker, moving forward?

    If you have any other useful suggestions, I welcome them also.

    Word equations to latex, then to the FM band; I don't know if the utility works
    for equations. I'm not sure if this is a FM-unix utility only, or if

    Not very computer, but following the recommendations in the FAQ, I have reset my WRT54G router to the default settings by hitting the reset buttong and entering into the Web site. I got a new computer and I forgot the old password. After reset to defaults now the link is not secure.     Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...

    For wireless settings, follow these steps: -.
    Click on the Wireless tab
    -Wireless network mode must be mixed...
    -Provide a unique name in the name box of the wireless network (SSID) in order to differentiate your network from your network of neighbors...
    -Set the channel 11-2 wireless, 462 GHz... Wireless SSID broadcast should be enabled and then click on save settings...
    Please take note of the name of the wireless network (SSID) because it's the network identifier...

    For wireless security: -.
