  From what I read in the docs I should be able to create a role that has privileges to UPDATE a column in a table and then assign this role to a user, that should be able to update the column in the table. I get "insufficient privileges" when I try which, although it works as advertised if I book directly to the user. I read the docs wrong?

  Probably foo2_u_f2 role is not a default role to the user's game. Initially, when the user is created the default role is set to ALL. Later, it can be changed to NONE or set of roles. Log in as a game and question:

  This will give you a list of the user default set roles. Another question, you can:

  a. right click on the computer icon.
  b. click Properties.
  c. you will be able to see the product ID in the title of the Windows Activation.

  Some architectures are not known to me as Alpha, SPARC,

  But for your Satellite 1800-750, you need the Intel x 86 version. This version is for all s PC with 32-bit processor.
  AMD64 is for laptop and PC with AMD64 processor and AFAIK Intel IA - 64 for the new Intel processors with 64-bit support.
  All other versions are not known to me, but the Intel x 86 version should work on your laptop.

  Talked to the BC guys on this subject with some stuff from varius, they understand the need. Don't know when things will be implemented for us, they're looking to Admin tags or API options etc. for this and a few other bits.

  As a general rule, make changes to your PC that are not approved by HP or installed by an authorized Service HP technically supplier could void your warranty.  In practice, many make upgrades to their PC.

  I have not seen all the posts where someone has changed their PC and HP had refused to honor the warranty. Maybe the PC was returned to the State of origin before the warranty repairs were made but I do not know if it happens or not.
