The version of NVIDIA nForce

My machine has a motherboard Pegatron M2N78-(purple).  It is a HP p6210f computer.

I was told by one of the chat technicians that this machine came with a nForce 7 series chipset.  But they couldn't tell me exactly that one.

Using Google, it seems that this machine uses the 720 a nForce chipset.  If so, then I install the correct nForce driver.  But no system information program reveals this information, and is not on the page of specifications of HP product for this machine.

Is their a reliable method to find the versions of chipset?  I trust rather not just some info I found with Google something like that, I don't have to.

Install CPU - Z to chipset id:

The burning issue, several times when the "write to disk" option is enabled for the drive it causes problems with other functions. I always off and used the burning software.

Hi, I added a second hardrive that is 3 TB and my desktop is running windows 7 with SP 1.  I have been informed by Acronis technical support I need to get an NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller update (I have version

NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller version 11.1.0.29 installed).  Can someone tell me what version I need update too and where to download?  Thank you!  Mark

The last driver from Chipset from nVidia for your computer is located on the nForce Chipset Driver Version 15.56 download page. This driver install NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller driver v11.1.0.43. This driver, however, isn't likely to solve your problem.

You will need to check that the hard drive is seen in BIOS until the computer will recognize the drive. You will need to run the Windows 'Disk management' console to partition the hard drive in at least two partitions, MBR or GPT partition before you can use the drive.

  • Windows Update offering me a nvidia nforce network controller update, I want to know what has the update, how?

I try to click on the more information of winqual.microsoft.com/support/? 20211126.it driver id always comes up with 404 page not found. I just want to know what the driver is offering or fixing. I have tried everywhere, someone has ideas how to get this info?

The only way I know is to get this information from the manufacturing of the hardware device.  In this case go to the Web from Nvidia site and then go to the downloads section. You can then select the Nforce drivers such as pilot. After that, you will need to know which chipset your motherboard uses. Once you get all the information it will take you to the download page for the drivers. Normally they have the available release notes to see what changes have been made by the pilots. If you decide to update, I would use the Nvidia site instead of the one offered from windows update. After installing the nvidia windows update stops offering you the update.

  • Difference between the official version of Nvidia or Toshiba Satellite A200

I would like to ask if there is no importance using Toshiba display drivers, or the latest official Nvidia drivers are better?

    (With Nvidia Geforce Go 7300) (Satellite A200 - 14 d)

Some people here in the forum have suggested that Toshiba display drivers are a bit changed.
Toshiba display driver supports thermal protection that controls the performance of the graphics card and the temperature.

It of a simply that temperature increases while the graphics card and other devices are running with maximum performance.
In this case the graphics driver decreases the performance of the graphics card, if the temperature reaches the critical level.

To my knowledge, the graphics drivers NVIDIA or ATI of origin don't support such function.
That is why it s advisable to use the graphics drivers from Toshiba. Of course, you can also use the display drivers from other sources, but only at your own risk!

  • NVIDIA nForce Question

I have an old HP Pavilion a1637c PC running Windows XP SP3 MCE.  I started having problems with my Internet dropping out and trying to understand what is happening.  My ISP says it's a problem with my PC.  I use the original NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller, version 50.2.4.0 dated 03/03/2006.  (I don't know if it's worth the upgrade to the new version of driver or not).  I use Norton Internet Security 2011 and in the history of the security, I get a note that "the IP address has disappeared from the adapter and is is no longer protected.»  When I can't connect to Internet, I ran the Windows XP Network Diagnostics and it came and wrote no connection could be found?  My network controller could break and who is causing my PC to lose the IP address or does it really sound as the ISP is at fault?

If you can get Internet to work, even if it is intermittent, then you the drivers are good--period. It's the same exact symptom you would if your cable has been disconnected.  To me, it seems that you may have an intermittent connection problem. I try a different cable or clean the ends of the cable (connectors contacts) first.

  • Satellite A500 / 01 M - can not install the driver from nVidia page

So I bought an A500 / 01 M over a month or two ago, and the NVIDIA drivers are not updated.

I have the nvidia site to download new drivers, but they would not install.
He said that the pilot was not compatible and I got get the update of my manafacturer.

I went to the toshiba site, but I could not find my model there number... I searched and everything.
So my current drivers are similar to 186. something and the last I think is 195.62

How can I install on my laptop?

    Hello

Toshiba display driver are distinguished by the drivers from nVidia or ATI and therefore the version numbers are different.
Drivers Toshiba takes supported thermal protection that controls the dissipation of heat from the GPU chip.
Don t support nVidia drivers this protection!

If you can install the nVidia drivers, but only at your own risk!

    How to install it?
Well, you have to do in the Device Manager.
-Choose the graphics card in Device Manager
    -Update driver
-now use the advanced option which would help you to select the driver that you downloaded from the nVidia page. You must point to the folder that contains the ini files. Ini files and DLLs are driver files.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite P100-221: Question about the version of the graphics driver

    Hello

    I have the Satellite P100-221 (PSPA6E-013010RU).
There is a new update for nVidia 7900GS card driver available (8.4.0.0, 27/07/06) in the Russian section of www.toshiba.com.

But the number is still 8.4.0.0, as it was before.
Do you mean the driver has not been modified too much, or is it a new revision?

    Thank you

    Hello

Satellite P100 is a very recent laptop right now and the drivers have to be to date. In this case, I think that the drivers on the Toshiba page are even similar on your laptop. The date indicates only the version on the page.

Anyway, you should always check the numbers of versions of drivers and compare until you install it on the device.
Maybe the drivers are preinstalled and you don't need to reinstall the same version.
