  Hi, Shada, this can happen if you include additional installers to your installer for example DAQmx. When you do this the installation program must include other files like MAX (Measuremente and Automation Explorer). Probably when you installed Vision Builder he updated MAX, so when your Installer try to understand MAX, his request the source where it was installed in your computer in this case Vision Builder.

  Here you can cache information so it is not asked once again, or you can download a version more recent fo DAQmx, then it will update MAX and change the dependecy.

  I use a few applications that are their resources in the SD card, but I like to store my files in the external SD card. I am a user coming from the Samsung Captivate, so he has never been a problem for me, because the Samsung phones access the external sdcard using a symbolic link from the inside of the internal sdcard, do something like

  I use LiveCycle ES3.  My request is simple.  I have several date throughout my form fields.  Some date fields must enable the last dates; Some date fields must enable as dates in the future.  When an invalid date is entered, the date should be dismissed, the rest of the required field and an error message pops up, saying: "this date cannot be in the future" or "this date cannot be in the past", depending on the field in which it is.

  As a note, I used the exact script of the demo file "Highlighting the required fields", but I discovered that this script is too complicated and even worse still it is incorrect.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Just bought a RV220W for a client to replace a WRVS4400N which has no support for individual NAT and stated that the specific NAT for this router is only marginally better.

  I have three WAN addresses and three devices to their card. With the RV0xx, I used the following more than a dozen times.

  WAN 1 address - public address of the router

  Port HTTP, HTTPS and SMTP for Windows Small Business Server 2011

  Messaging and remote Web access are available to the remote.company.com

  Address WAN 2

  One-to-one NAT to Ubuntu Server's private IP address

  Add the following access rules:

  • All refuse
  • Allow everything to the private IP address of the HTTP Server
  • Allow SSH to static IP address of my business to private IP
  • Allow FTP to static IP address of my business to the private IP address

  Companies Web site is accessible to company.com and I can update the site with SSH and FTP

  Address WAN 3

  One-to-one NAT to private IP address of the module of RMM Intel Server Hyper-V (Lights out remote management)

  Add the following access rules:

  • All refuse
  • Allow HTTP, HTTPS, and RMM all ports of statics of my business to the private IP address of RMM modules

  I can access the my business network connection rmm.company.com server

  My problems are:

  1. Specific option NAT requires now allows you to specify the service you want to transfer (Note: service, not services)
  2. If you select all of the service which is the only way that I can see for having more than one service, there is no way to add any specific Allow or Deny rules because the Destination area is dimmed in page access rules.
  3. This results in my Ubuntu Server only have HTTP sent to her and my module RMM having all ports open to any IP address.

  There must be a way around this! I don't understand why the Destination IP option is grayed out for all inbound access rules. I used this same configuration with the RV0xx of Cisco, many Sonicwall, as well as several Cisco ASA firewalls. Obviously this isn't an ASA, but this individual NAT implementation is useless!

  Due to the GUI limiting to one service in individual NAT page, users must go to the firewall > page access rules to specify additional services are allowed.

• MultiSelect which allows only a single selection

  I have two lists of multiple selection on a page. I need to change the second list then < ctrl > and < shift > click is disabled and that only one item can be selected at a time. Is this possible?

  I have a problem with an app where I anime shows Vision Builder 4 on 1 computer. Everything seems to go well until after some time (sometimes minutes, sometimes half an hour) I get horizontal black stripes on my images.

  I searched this forum and found many posts on this problem. However, I tried the various solutions that have been proposed and this does not seem to make a difference.

  Information:

  * 4 camera (Allied Manta G201C)

  * camera is triggered (rising edge) separately, but almost simultaneously.

  * PC: quadcore, 64-bit, Windows 7 64 bit system

  * Run-time Vision Builder 2012 license.

  * Programmed with Vision Builder HAVE 2012.

  * Switch: 1000 MB

  * Interface programmed in c# (receives images of the relevant info 4 programs and displays on the screen).

  Proven methods:

  * Sets the size of the packets to 1500 (even tried low size of package without improvement).

  * Set desired maximum bandwidth to 250 no improvement (was initially set at 1000 - we put it to 250 because there are 4 camera - even the 150 configuration does not seem to improve the situation.)

  * cursed a lot - but which did not help either.

  * Can use us a switch that does not fit our goal?

  * Our switch is placed with several engines around it (the closest on a meter away) and just behind a cabin of electricity in which there are several transformers. That reach our data?

  * Other suggestions?

  * Please let me know if you need additional information about this problem.

  We expect our customers to visit us the week next to see if we will be able to start production and we are currently under enormous time pressure (and stress). So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The only framegrabbers directly supported by VBAI that are produced by National Instruments, see http://sine.ni.com/nifn/cds/view/main/p/sn/n32:frameGrabber / lang/en/nest/1286/ap/vision.  If your application requires three or more cameras, I would suggest using a pair of PCIe-1430 framegrabber with Camera Link cameras, PCIe-8235 with cameras GigE or using a firewire camera configuration.

• Vision Builder for Automated Inspection Development Toolkit missing / cannot install in 2012

  I try to install the VBAI SDK.  I have licenses and have installed:

  OR LabVIEW 2012 Professional Version

  Toolkit OR Vision

  OR in real time

  I find not all options in 2012 LabVIEW for the VBAI dev kit so I tried to run the install and it says:

  "The Vision Builder for Automated Inspection Development Toolkit requires LabVIEW 2011 be installed, please install LabVIEW 2011..."

  Why can I install it on LabVIEW 2012?  2012 is out for 1 year... How VBAI does not support LV 2012?

  Should I install Labview 2011 to make this work?  I don't have the DVD for 2011 so it will be a royal PITA to install.

  VBAI 2012 is a LabVIEW application that was built with and require runtime LabVIEW 2011.

  The VBAI SDK, just like the run LabVIEW stage, require the same version of LabVIEW VBAI was built with.

  We could technically remove this limitation under Windows, which would have implications serious performance the performance of the custom steps, but many customers who design custom steps also want to do on targets from a distance (for example smart cameras, EVS or CVS). Currently, it is not possible to support several facilities next to LabVIEW on real-time targets. For this reason, we have decided to only support that has the version of LabVIEW VBAI.

  Please contact your sales representative OR to get a copy of LabVIEW 2011 you need for the SDK.

  The next version of the VBAI (2013), support 2012 LabVIEW for the SDK and run LabVIEW steps.

  The steps for product status select are saved in the "Vision Builder system Config.ini' in the folder VBAI. You should be able to copy this file to the machine with the runtime version and if it has the same version of the VBAI, it should be able to apply all the steps and the INI settings.

• Vision Builder - error creating LabVIEW Code

  I use Vision Builder 3.5 and LabVIEW 8.5.1. Vision Development module is also installed.

  I've built several routines inspection with the Vision Builder. Then I tried to create .vi-files. Then I hit tools-> Inspection migrating to LabVIEW...

  In the next box I select:

  1-version of LabVIEW: LabVIEW 8.5 - NEITHER Vision 8.5.0

  2 - the directory I want vi-files to be.

  The migration begins, but it is never finished. There is always the following error message:

  Error during creation of LabVIEW Code #3

  I have not found additional information about this error code. So maybe someone is able to help.

  It seems that the error occurs when you try to play a file which contains the parameters of control of that Vision Builder AI generates. This file may have been corrupted and Vision Builder AI fails to write correctly. I have attached a simple VI to determine where this file lives. Make sure that the file is not present before generating the code and that you have write access to this directory.
