  iCloud is a synchronization system, not an external 'hard drive '. If you remove them on your device, they will remove icloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

  If you did an upgrade and not a clean install, they must remain on your drive. Do a search of *.jpg, *.jpeg and see what you get. If I remember correctly, you will have a folder windows.old that they appear in. You can use Windows Explorer if you want to look in your records in the Windows.Old directory.

  Here's a newbie question in PhotoShop CS4. I'll do the same tasks over and over again:

  1. I get a picture of my photographer. .

  2. I want to convert to grayscale.

  3. I want to run auto levels, contrast automatic and Auto color

  4. I want to save it as a. PSD file

  Is it possible to automate these tasks? I realize they take only a few seconds to do, but I wonder if there is a way to run a script 'Macro' or some sort of automation.

  With the #1 question: if I convert each photo to grayscale, should I run Auto color at all?

  With question #2: that any order, I run my process? (My process are: convert to grayscale, run the auto levels, contrast automatic and track Auto color.) In other words, should I convert to grayscale, all levels first, then run the auto levels, etc., or isn't it important?)

  Yes you are right, I just tried to reproduce the same thing at my end and found that is we just replace it the thumbnail, the same does not get reflected in the slideshow of heroes.

  However, you can put the same question here ideas for features in Adobe Muse and inform our Muse developers so this a good feature to add.

  There is a way to disable ALL the F1, F2, etc. keys, but I don't think there's a way to just disable these two keys.

   > System Preferences > keyboard > keyboard (tab) > check "use all F1, F2, keys as standard function keys etc.

  Note that this will prevent all Mac controls, associated with the F1, F2, etc. keys. While this check box is selected, you can still use the features such as the brightness and spaces, but you need to hold the function (fn) key while pressing F1...

  This will allow to use the Pause/Play, spaces, Launchpad and keys of brightness by pressing fn and then the F1, press F2 etc to the action you want.

  I take that back... it seems that there is a way to disable ToolTips if you are using FireFox. I tried and it worked for me.

  1. Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
  2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
  3. Search for the preference browser.chrome.toolbar_tips and double-click it to change its value false

  is there an easy way to access my photos in the Photo for OS X app?

  I know that I can export (for example on the desktop) and then drag and drop it into the destination folder/app

  Another way is to use the menu to access media when opening files in apps but its not convenient to get the right picture.

  Are there other/better ways that I can get my faster photos to other applications?

  Use the menu to share Photos to share on Facebook or other applications.

  And if you want to open photos in other applications, you can use the extensions of these photo editing applications.  Or use the External Editor extension to open any other photo editor of pictures.

  If I stick a picture on a smaller, CS5 will automatically resize itself it so that it fits in the frame. You can then manually turn in its original size, but this is awkward for what I do, so I was wondering if there was a way that disabled so that it keeps the original size (with parts of the layer being off screen). Even better would be if I could just paste without automatically enter free transform, as in earlier versions of Photoshop.
