There the c:\windows\system32\macromed or flash dierectory directory?

Hi - I tried, for months to download flash from adobe, that can not play videos! I had suggestions on how to do this, but cannot find directories flash or c:\windows\system32\macromed, anywhere! Go to start / computer, but the only way I can get to (vista) System 32, is by going into the properties of the system and nothing to click in there!  Where are they? Downloding flash "successfully", didn't work! Installed and uninstalled, several times, but no luck! I think that my "technicians" are tired of me!  Help!    Gracie

Flash Player is not a stand-alone program. It is a browser plugin; do not find a desktop icon or start menu for it.

The instructions you found on the web are for Flash Player 9. Use these instructions to solve problems of Flash Player 10.

Flash Player is installed in the C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash directory

The ActiveX is for Internet Explorer. If you use Firefox or Opera, you must download the NPAPI plugin as well.

Did the problem to the top after show installed new software and if so, what software?

You have recently installed any type of remote control software?

Now to fix it depends on how you are fixed to the boot media, since you'll have to start on something.

We know that XP likes to keep the backup copies of critical system files in this folder:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Knowing this, start in Recovery Console XP using your genuine XP bootable installation CD or if you have a genuine XP bootable installation CD, you can make one (no XP media required).  If you don't know what type of bootable media, you, do a CD of bootable XP Recovery Console and do not forget.

If Yes, you want and are not in possession of a genuine XP bootable installation CD or a CD from Recovery Console XP bootable, the instructions to create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console can / will be provided before any questioning begins.

You can replace the missing file or suspect the XP Recovery Console by entering the following command:

    Copy c:\windows\system32\dllcache\odbcint.dll c:\windows\system32

Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file and then you should see a message that 1 file (s) has been copied.

If you get some type of a file not found message, the file is easily replaced using other methods.

Remove the CD and type "exit" at the Recovery Console prompt to restart the system.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • Backup has encountered a problem during backup of the C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop\music file. Error: (System does not find the specified path. (0 x 80070003))

I had to uninstall iTunes a few months ago and successfully re-installed, but part of my music was missing.   At one point, following the instructions on a thread on the forums Apple or Microsoft, I saved my music library on the desktop. Since then, I do not have a library of music on the desktop file.  In my looooooong hours trying to fix things, I do not know if I deleted it or what.

    Now, I get the message:

"Backup has encountered a problem during backup of the C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop\music file. Error: (System does not find the specified path. (0 x 8007003)) "whenever I have backup my computer.

As I understand it, that does not affect really any other files, they rely on the spot (I think), but

    Hi serene,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

As indicated by the error, this problem appears, when these files/libraries that are saved automatically are not present on your computer. I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it can help solve the problem.

    • Create missing files that are listed in the error message.
    • Exclude files from the files to backup in the backup settings and then include these files in their original location. To exclude folders in other communities and to include these files in the original location, follow these steps:
      1. In Control Panel, open backup and restore.
      2. In the section back up , click change settings.
      3. In the dialog box Configure the backup , click Next.
      4. In the dialog box that you want to save , click Let me choose, and then click Next.
      5. Expand data files, library, expand additional locations, and then click to clear the check boxes folder AppData, Contactsand Research .
      6. Expand computers, expand the element of your system drive (for example, expand Local disk (c)), expand users, , and then click to select the checkboxes AppData, Contactsand Research if they exist.
      7. Click Next, and then click Save settings and exit.
      8. Backup and restore, click back up now to perform a new backup. The backup operation must complete without errors.

If the problem persists, I suggest you follow the steps in the following article for troubleshooting backup problems.

    Hello

You did changes to the computer before the show?

These problems occur because the folders or libraries that you are trying to back up or restore include a reparse point. Analytical points are similar to shortcuts Windows or Unix symbolic links. A point of analysis can be used to point to a file that is moved temporarily to a different drive.

    Hello

Usually when you see messages like this when you start the computer, this means that a file has been uninstalled, but the reference to this file in the startup list remains intact.

When the Start Up of the list (the programs that start when the computer starts) is read the system searches for this file and of course can't find it, you see the "not found" error message

Press the Windows Logo key + R to start the box run.

Type msconfig.exe in the Open box, and then click OK.

    Click the Startup tab.

Expand the command column and look for the line with the same name of _NowIntoDT.vbs .

Remove the check mark from this line.

    Click apply/OK.

    Restart the computer.

    Let us know the result.

Thank you for using Windows 7

In an attempt to save a photo in Outlook Express, try this, bring up the email with the picture in it and

then upstairs, Clk file and save as and save it in a folder or your desktop. In my case, it opened in

Windows Mail, then I could do a right click on the image and save as.

If you save from Windows mail, it can record as usual.
