• How to add SSD for Optiplex 755 (Small Form Factor)

  Hi-

  I want to add a SSD for my Optiplex 755 (Small Form Factor) boot drive while maintaining the HARD disk it came with and the player optical slimline. There is a SATA port on the motherboard, but there is no open Bay and not a lot of room in the chassis (I do not see a power open cable).

  Anyone know how or if I can add a SSD to 2.5 inches to this machine? Would need a power splitter? And it's even bothered to improve an Optiplex 755-10 Windows?

  Adding a drive in the optical Bay is possible.  But you cannot run without the original hard disk on the desktop SFF and ULTRA-COMPACT models.

  Just unpacked my birthday gift today... a brand new and shiny, HP Pavilion HPE-595uk (yay!).  My husband purchased directly from HP, about 3 weeks ago.  It has been used until today.  (Happy birthday, me!)

  However, on first switching on, I received a message from bios:-"512 - undetected, rear chassis fan error press F1 to continue"

  I pressed F1 and start continued, Windows 7 is installed, everything seems ok... I'm talking about (entered) to you on the PC right now.  However... If I have to powercycle the PC, I get the error (error 512 - rear, chassis fan not detected, press F1) every time.

  That means there is a problem with this PC? The rear chassis fan should be detected?  If a cable is loose?  All new PC remember... just out the box 2 hours.

  Thanks for the inforfmation.  I just started my new computer that has the message 'Error 512 - rear chassis fan not detected'.  Rear fan connector had a bent pin and the connector has been sitting on it.  Pushing the stem with long nose pliers and a small screwdriver it fixed and enabled the connector to connect all the way and everything is fine.  Be sure to remove the power cord from the back before you do.  I did not, and the button was hit during the removal of the side panel.  Since I was a SDS I heard the computer turn on - I was lucky is not to run out of something!

  This machine of LOVE and just build one for the gills - power of 600 watts (oem) recently added as well

  Has made updating the BIOS and now it is stuck at the start with 'chassis before 513 error not detected fan' - I can F1 passed and everything is good, but of course I need a fix for this.

  This device does not have a front chassis fan.

  I'm a NEWBIE here and would certainly appreciate some entries.

  Such as already reported here, over, do a search for "Ghetto Mod.  There are two main positions for this of me, one for the xw6400 and another for the xw4600.  Your case best fits the xw4600 case, but there is more information about Noctua in the xw6400 post.

  I have a Thinkpad Twist. I started it and got a thermal detection error before as the splash screen. I looked at the error message on different forums, try turning it off to see if the message would always be there. When I rebooted it, it disappeared. I'd always concerned by the fan or the CPU?

  My laptop has been overheating before that, but he is stopped, even after the error message.

The problem I have is two if the transducers are 7.5 K lb/po2 rated and 100 psi rated, making me use two different scales. I can do the N-channel on playback of the system but only will allow me to read the two 7.5 K transducers.  I use the DAQ assistant, I create a virtual channel and add all components to read from the module. When I create another instance for the third transducer, it gives me the error: error 201003, module is already reserved. I need help please. Let me know another way to do what im trying to do. I used the DAQ assistant, but the data is incorrent on the transducer of 100 lb/po2, which explains why I manually create the virtual channel.

  If you had searched the error code or message, you would have seen several posts on this common problem for beginners. Simply, you cannot use several tasks for a single material resource. Use several functions Create Channel, each connected to each other and specify your scale.

  I'll put a SCXI-1001 chassis with several modules, 3 of them 1502 with their 1314 terminal blocks for the first time. I used this chassis before reading temperatures and worked fine, so I'm sure that the problem is me.

  I get this error 200320 on simultaneous sample and hold trying to acquire data of deformation, but I think that the configuration is fine. I'm still fairly new to LabView and have tried to check the installation by the Express data acquisition module and MAX; but I get the same result.

  Please help me to implement as soon as possible, I need your knowledge.

  Can you check something for me? One, can you try to disconnect the cable between the PXI and PCIe cards and try to restart your machine. When you do this, you still see the message? I know that you mentioned in your first point that the chassis is turned on when you see the error message, so I'm just trying to clarify what you mean by that.

  Also, it is quite easy to plug in a cable express MXI upside down, so even if point 2 you said that the links appear to be good I had to check to make sure that the cable is properly connected. You have additional cables, you can test?

  This may seem absurd, but I accidentally ran a self-test to the MAX on one of the NI PXI boards (6533) in my chassis (NI 1042 q) when chassis power was off. He returned with an error code of 200020. The same thing has happened with three other NI PXI boards: 6723 6713 and 6221. I turned on the chassis and the same error code occurred. Then I restarted my computer, responsible for MAX, and no devices were found even more.

  I followed the steps here to reset MAX, as well as the devices were recognized again, all the self-tests have passed again.

  However, I am concerned as to why it happened. Why the error code keep occurring after that I turned on the chassis? Why MAX ceased to recognize my devices?   From your description, it seems that you disable the chassis when the PC is still on. This will cause certainly some problems with your PXI devices, because you're basically hot-swapping PXI devices in your system. This may have also messed up things in MAX, as you saw. You should always have your PXI chassis before your start your computer turned on and turned off after your computer has been shut down. This allows your BIOS correctly enumerate the PXI card, which should hopefully avoid these mistakes in the future.

• Several new chassis M630 knives having errors CPU 1.

  We have a new chassis, we put in place that is filled with the new knives M630.  Several of the servers have errors.  They have installed Windows 2012 R2 and if restart us them, we get these errors.  We can reinstall the blade and run the server, no errors.  But once we start over from the operating system error returned.  On the console when it starts we get the UEFI0078 error code.  We have opened a file with Dell far and sent them a DSET report, exchanged some procs and memory, but the problems persist.  Even when the two procs are reversed, it still shows CPU 1 as shown below of the M1000e CMC.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  The problem is specific to KB3064209 and v3 @ 2.30 GHz CPU Intel Xeon E5-2670.  Once this update has been uninstalled we no longer had the problem described.  We were able to restart without any error.

  While I'm enjoying my old T410 of one month, suddenly, I got a 'Thermal detection error' message when starting of the machine, and then he stopped.
