  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  You can use the special function key mode which allows you to use the function keys without pressing the FN key. This can be changed _in BIOS_ (F2->-> Advanced tab-> System Configuration-> special function mode key in BIOS)

  I down loaded a wiget google today and subsequently, I have experienced this problem. All my programs and all shortcuts are availble by Explorer and open the folder deshtop. They work very well, but the computer screen does not display them. When I opened the they seem normal, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the monitor. When I try to drag or send to, or save, I get a message that says that they cannot be sent to their current location. The computer knows that they are in the file offers / office but don't show them on the screen. I have add / remove programs but no change. I sent a file that was in a different place and it went in the desktop folder but not on the screen. It's like there's a toggle to see the show/don ' t somewhere. There is no corruption in the programs or files. Thank you for any advise you can give.

  Attached to this day! I was able to run the restore and the date prior to the event. Only problem was Norton, I had to uninstall and re-installed but now works perfectly!

I can't identify what process or the file is the cause or figure out how the hell this infection occurred or how to get rid of. Affected URLS are www. : 5050.cn; Baidu.com/s? NT = openssl_dg; Sogou.com/index.htm?PID=Sogou-addr3dac09e434797862 and pindao.huoban.taobao.com/channel/onSale.htm?pid=mm_17297392_2279105_8864797 cannot be found by Google research on this and I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem, which seems to be able to bypass know all security tools.   It seems that your a young hit just the right combination of keys to activate the access keys.

  Click on the Start button and type > 'turn on' > and select enable easy keys for quick access in the list.

  Uncheck all the options and select 'Apply', and then click OK.

  I was moving things in and out of Dropbox on my desk. I decided that I didn't want a certain folder in there, so I brought in My Documents. When I checked later, the record was missing video files. (In fact, lack of everything, but I found other files always in Dropbox). Shortcuts for the videos I find lead anywhere tell me the question was "moved or changed" and when I click Properties, it tells me the path won't and I can't do anything. Oddly enough, I could get a video, but it was. I have not removed anything, so I know that they are not in the bin. I also believe, when I click on "location of the file," at least a few of them refer to a folder, I don't think I even had yet! Yet he says that this is the video. As it is not even hint to the ones I lost. I'm sorry, this must all sounds very mixed, and it is a good way to put the State of me. If someone understands and thinks they can help, I'd really apperciate it!

  As all my files and folders are back! And are very well Phew! Everything is better!

  Solution:

  If I remember correctly, as it has been quite some time. I opened "My Computer" click "Desktop" at the top left. Then I clicked on "Organize" and then "Folder and Search Options" and then "view" then I searched "hidden files and folders" and selected "Show hidden files folders and drives." Click on "OK." -that worked for me.

• Windows 7 UAC and shortcuts

  I created shortcuts to several Regina REXX programs, and they run without interference of the UAC. But when I copy the same shortcuts in my favorites folder and try to run an any of these that I get the familiar and annoying message "do you want to open this file?", referring to the .lnk file. The Compatibility Administrator is without help because it only allows me to select the .exe files. Why these copied shortcuts behave exactly like the originals? Thank you.

  There are a few things here that don't ring true, for example

  • How did you create a shortcut in c:\Program Files (x 86) \Tools? UAC will not let you do this!
  • Why did you create a shortcut? Shortcuts must be on the desktop (where you can easily reach) or in the Start Menu.
  • Why would you store a shortcut in the Favorites folder? Its purpose is to store Internet Explorer Favorites!

  I recommend you do this:

  1. Start Windows Explorer.
  2. Navigate to the folder that contains regina.exe.
  3. Click right regina.exe.
  4. Click on "send to", then select the desktop as the destination.
  5. Right-click the newly created on the desktop shortcut, and then add the REXX as a parameter.
