  This seems to be a very common problem and why Windows did not have fixed, I don't know, but I can't see the thumbnails for files .mov, only the logo of quicktime on my Vista computer.
  I tried to replace the .mov/shellex the registry part, I tried to delete all the thumbnails of cleanmgr, I downloaded the Pack of codecs K-Lite and still nothing worked.
  It's very frustrating because almost all of my videos are .mov and therefore, it is nigh on impossible to establish who's who of just a QuickTime logo. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful.

Show only MOV files as an icon of a hot air balloon on a strip of film behind a musical note (which I think is just a symbol of a media file).

  I found a solution for this problem on the 64-bit windows 7!
  
  I changed and added a few keys in the registry to fix this thing to preview:
  IN REGEDIT:
  _ HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mov\shellex\
  where I had only 2 keys inside the shellex.
  _I watched inside the shellex mpeg (because mpeg would generate good thumbnails):
  HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mov\shellex\
  where he had 3 keys
  _SO what I tried was to copy these 3 key and replace my key shellex .mov with those 3.
  That's what you can do:
  -Open regedit
  -Click on: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mov\shellex\
  then export it (this will be your backup in case this does not work, or mess you something you'll just have to click on it to install it again.
  Then,
  -remove the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mov\shellex\"KEY.
  -Open Notepad
  -Paste the following text in your Notepad file:
  -don't paste this line-
  Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

  The computer is not compatible with the 9-cell battery. Maintenance and service guide provides this information. The guide will also tell you the part number for the adapter, you should have, but also the other part applications.

  I downloaded a music file of myfreemp3.eu, he wasn't .mp3.  He was able to play a couple of times, but now does not open.  Now, I can't move or delete it from the downloads folder, system do not see.  its properties are of TYPE 'file' and SIZE '0 bytes.   Thank you Ganesh and Hetti.  I just finally deleted my ghost file.  I used the safe mode and cmd.

  I went into the directory of downloads in the BACK, the used command DIR / X to find out the name of the file.

  He was ~ 1 at the end of the file name.   I used DEL filename ~ 1 and the file disappeared.  I checked the

  trash and he wasn't there either.  I rebooted the computer and found no trace of the file.

  The controls were as follows,

  CD C:\users\my name\downloads

  dir / x (to find the full file name,)

  del (to remove the file)

  I could probably use alternative command

  del *. *.

  Thank you again and maybe it helps someone else.  I ran the control with the repair disc, but that did not remove the ghost file.  I could also not delete the downloads folder.  Create the same named file with 0 bytes not working anymore.  I tried the latest version of Mandrake then.

  I've had my computer for about 3 weeks, and up to about 3-4 days there, when I try to open the files or when I click on my file Explorer icon on my taskbar, it is invisible. When I open the Task Manager, it does not show that it is running, but if I move my mouse in Explorer on my taskbar, I see the window that I opened, but it is not on my screen.   Is that mean that you have noticed that your pointer seems to come out on the side right of the screen but banged against the side of the left?   Then to try the procedure instead of doing drag the pointer appears you would press the left button of the mouse and then try to move your mouse to the left (if you come from the right side, left movement).   This procedure was a new discovery.  To try the (classic) procedure of slider (the one I mentioned first), you must use the CursorLeft key (repeated, key chosen to represent the fact that the window is supposed to appear on the right.)

  Think.   What is this pointer?

  Alternatively, if you've been paying attention, you can try the method of Win-shift-cursor too.   Still, it would be easier.   But the most reliable would be the cursor method because it does not assume that there is a ghost monitor and is not affected by the question of if you moved your mouse (if you have nothing to click on and drag)...

  Wow.  Another discovery.  I moved the pointer without trying to drag (for example to simulate what I suppose that you did) and I saw the arrow pointer 4 just to move its own.   Then I pressed CursorRight, (given that my missing window was on the left) and apparently it hired drag on the window to the mouse!  Who would have thought?   Then I could just drag it using the mouse without having to resort to a press cursor repeat procedure.   Still not as easy as Win-shift-cursor if.

  Please forgive me if this has already been asked. But I was not able to find the answer to my problem.

  I have a page that uses a static background image used by the browser fill original value option.

  I then create a widget using jQuery and dragging the thumbnail on a part of the image (which is a card). When I saw the site, or export to a html thumbnail site moves to another location on the page. I don't know exactly why its been this. Is there anyway that I could position the thumbnail using an absolute property? Or could I anchor the thumbnail do not move?

  I think they are pinned to the edges/corners of the browser window. Select the thumbnails and control pin in the Control Strip. If you want the thumbnails to scroll the contents of the page, they should not be pinned.

• No movement chapters in 'Submenu Film' CS5 content

  I use the menu of 'Film' and 'Film' submenu located on the CS5 DVD. I did a project in the first and sent it yet. I did it with two differnet projects. With a chapter selection shows mobile chapters and the other project does not work. In my opinion nothing else. But when you look at both projects still I see a difference: a project shows the chronology of creation while the other shows like a finished movie (which is italicized).

  Any ideas?

  In the project where you do not get thumbnails of the Motion, Dbl-Click the scene selection Menu, to open it in the menu editor. Look in the properties panel and go to the Motion. Look down for the checkbox control, "Animate buttons." Make sure that it is checked.

  Hi, I am using Movie Maker for the first time - how can I create chapters?

  In addition, my video is stored on a portable hard drive, and I will not download on my PC because the files are too big.  Am I right in thinking that files mm creates don't actually download the files on my PC?

  Thank you for your response back!

  Chapters are made automatically during the creation of DVD in Windows DVD Maker.  Chapters cannot be changed.
  However, you can force it to create out upward your video into chapters by using Windows Movie Maker and save each chapter as his own project.  Add each project of creation of DVD and it will create chapters for each segment of the video.  Not sure if it is worth it.
