  Unfortunately not. You will need to process the output outside MaxL.

  Apple has not updated their libraries to support raw yet to be able to understand the new 16 - bit floating point dng files created by Lightroom.   I suggest you return these methods:

  Method 1:

  I recommend you perform the clean boot and check.
   
  Configuration of your system in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

  I have a problem preventing the wanting to install Silverlight from Microsoft/Windows Update. Every time when I do a Microsoft/Windows Update, the 'software, optional"has at least a suggested entry: Silverlight.

  The first 10 + times this happened, I clicked on the "don't show me this update again", but it has always been ignored. The of Ms/Win next update, the update of Silverlight is there still.

  I'm not anti-Silverlight, but I do not need to have installed and prefer not to see the recommendation every time. IIRC, I installed it once on a virtual machine of MsVpc2007-SP1. Seemed ok but not essential that I have the boss needs to do.

  I'm a developer of software (for most MFC) who prefer to have my score of development as 'vanilla' as possible with only these tools/utilities that I have found to be essential/reliable/stable/etc...

  I could check with success "don't show me this update again" for most of the optional software utilities, such as Search, PowerShell, .NET, etc. Silverlight seems the only one that does not take account of the "don't show this update again."

  If you have a known problem with the virus then I suggest to get an antivirus program that you can boot from and run it without starting Windows.

  Another option would be to format your drive and do a clean install of Windows (this would remove all the data of your drive).  If you have a backup of your data, this is the best course of action.  If you do not have a backup, you can then do a parallel install (This installs XP in a different folder if you don't lose any data).   What do you say "he's not leaving"? He kept playing with his only non-stop?
  If it is 'yes' or 'no', you can always he kill 'soft' media player.

  Take a look at your video accessory. What are the last 3 numbers, such as avi, mpeg, mov etc. ?
  It is possible that your video accessory is in a format unsupported by Windows Media Player.
  Save it in a folder of your choice.
  Googe for a FREE video converter (if you do not have one) and convert the video file toWMV.
  Now you should be able to read in the drive media with images and sounds.
