Upgrade VMware Tools post 5 upgrade

I have updated vCenter to 5 and have my first ESXi host also running 5. Most of the time, it was a pretty easy upgrade. Now, I have two other guests are still running 4.1 and all our virtual machines are run on these hosts. By doc upgrade, then next step is to upgrade VMware tools for each virtual computer. Almost all of our machines virtual under Windows 2 k 8 and 2 k 3.
The problem I have is in vSphere Client 5, when I try to upgrade the tools, it throws an error that the tools are already up to date. I don't know what is the current version, but I show version 8.3.2 build 257589 installed. If I try to vMotion one of these virtual machines to the ESXi 5 host, he erred in declaring the virtual material is incorrect.

The specific error is "the version of VMware Tools is already up to date" installed in the virtual machine
Any ideas?

The error has nothing to do with VMware tools. It is more a problem with the types of CPU of the ESXi host and cluster settings. What type/model of CPU you have in your hosts and have you enabled EVC on the cluster?

Upgrade from ESX3.5 to vSphere 5.0

Hi all
I have a project to upgrade on update my old host ESX 3.5 and VirtualCenter 2.5 to the most recent and vSphere vCenter Server 5.0 and 5.0.
After having read in the doc upgrade and because of the environment is small, I decided to build a new vCenter Server from scratch rather than go through the upgrade process (mainly due to wanting to put vCenter on a virtual computer, upgrade the operating system to 64-bit, separate the VCDB on an external SQL Server etc.).
I'm hoping to do an orderly migration where I vMotion VMs off-a former host, upgrade to vSphere 5, and vMotion the VMs, then turn it back on for her.
My question is quite simple (I hope):
Can I add vSphere 5.0 ESXi hosts and ESX 3.5 hosts in the same Cluster HA (assuming they are configured the same way in regards to the vSwitch and vMotion) after I added all hosts in vCenter 5?
This is so that I can vMotion VMs ESX 3.5 hosts former on the new 5.0 vSphere hosts after an upgrade of the host.
Virtual machines are all alive and I can't afford to have downtime...

Is - this rebalancing SC8000 result out?

We had a few works of power on the site, and when I log in the admin SC8000 pages it now States that controllers need to be rebalanced, but also States that access to the system will be limited.

Unfortunately, it does not specify what is be... just admin console restricted? all my servers will lose access to their LUNs? I have to plan something that would cause the loss of access to the SAN data... but if I can not enter the page admin for an hour, this isn't a big deal.

Couldn't find anything in a doc describes exactly what will be lost for connectivity... tried the admin docs, upgrade guides. Yes, I know that they must be balanced. But I do not know the impact begins making in my environment...

Any help from someone who already did or who knows what will happen?

I don't know what the restriction of access would be... but being asymmetric means that only a single controller is active and that all LUNS are subject to an interview of a controller. Rebalancing moves to the maintenance of the LUN of the inactive controller on him and makes it active again.

Rebalancing usually last 5 to 15 seconds depending on the activity, but if you have followed best practices with the server HBA settings, etc. then you offer up to 60 seconds of "IO paused" to happen, which is what happens to the LUNS that are moving back to their original controller.

I am looking for metalink and google have all but unable to find perfect doc upgrade jdk 1.5.0 on 11i.
my patch level current ORS is 4.

Can I put Anygantt in v 4.1.0 on Apex 3.2.1
I suppose that what I really need to understand, is what the license agreement is between Oracle and AnyGantt. I suppose that if we use the Apex so we are covered with certificates AnyGantt and I also noticed that Apex 4.0 uses the latest version of AnyGantt, which is 4.1.0. In the meantime it's ok for me to upgrade my Apex 3.2.1. instance of Anygantt 4.0.3 to 4.1.0? Or I have to wait 4 Apex came out?

I think that this agreement covers only the specific versions that are distributed with the latest version of the apex.

You can install AnyChart only to some fine 5.x on an Apex 3.2 without license for the purpose of TESTING fees.
You will get this warning 'Trial Version' in the background of the new cards.

If you want to use AnyChart 5.x for commercial purposes, you must purchase a license. I can't tell the exact price, but the last time I checked it was reasonable.

"Get around" would be to add a parameter to your procedure and pass it in. The value of the parameter, in the process of PL/SQL for APEX, would be replaced correctly before you call your procedure.

I realize that the cards in the APEX are dated. APEX will be upgraded to the latest version of AnyChart for the next version of Application Express 4.0. When I try to attach documents (Word or PDF) to an email... it takes a long time when I see "joining documents" on my screen.
