• Transfer/validation RSS URL problem

  HI, thanks a lot. There seems to be no place on the web for RSS concerns, and since I use Thunderbird and Firefox, I thought I'd try here. Maybe someone can shed some light on what is happening?

  I have subscribed to an RSS feed

  No, this isn't a problem with the browser, but with this server.
  If you paste this link in another browser address bar, then you will see the same.

  Looks that they replace http://thecitizen.co.tz/ with http://www.thecitizen.co.tz and not http://www.thecitizen.co.tz/

• DMP-Invalid RSS url to 5.2 (Bug discovered?)

  Hi all

  We met following behaviors.

  We sent a presentation with an invalid url to the DPM, and since we were not able to control it through DMM.

  The dmp did not meet orders sent through DMM (presentations/system tasks)

  The only option to bring it back is again through his site web gui.

  Is this a known bug?

   Check out: ---------- CSCte67952 - DMD:  RSS will not work after upgrade to 5.2 Symptom: -------- The RSS ticker is not showing some content after upgrading to 5.2. This is because DMD in version 5.2 uses Flash to display the RSS ticker.  And the Flash 9 and 10 player has built in security to not allow content from another domain. This security feature is blocking the content. Workaround: ----------- There are several options available: 1: Only use RSS feeds from sites that allow cross site scripting. 2: Use a service line "Yahoo Pipes" service that acts as a proxy. This    will result in a a new URL that can be used in the DMD, bypassing    any cross-site scripting.   Additional Note: ---------------- If you use the standard RSS feed in the Signage Design tool, it will work with any RSS feed you have and you don't need a crossdomain policy file. Cross Domain refers only to Adobe Flash Player and the ability to read content from other domains. • Get an XML from a URL in the widget

  We are a Blackberry widget to display any RSS FEED. If we want to get the XML for the RSS feed, from the link,

  Now we're directyl open link and showing the flow on the browser using href in html. But we want to classify the stream based on the location and date, so we want to get the XML tags and then analyze using a parser using Javascript.

  Please let us know as soon as possible.

  You should be able to recover the http://www.puuba.com/team/blog.rss URL in an AJAX request.  The property responseXML of the XMLHttpRequest object is an already parsed XML object.  You can then look at the contents of the XML file and it classify as a result.

• The idea of App - select your own RSS feed for regular printing

  Just an idea...

  I saw a few new applications that offer the ability to print the latest news stories from sites such as FT.com with the additional advantage of schedule printing. However, I did find sites that are of particular interest for me. This got me thinking, what happens if I could choose which prints each day without the need for separate applications. Would it not be possible to design an application that is not related to a new diet and actually offers the user the features to upgrade their own RSS URL stream and a timed setting or the number of feed stories to print. This would allow users an almost infinite number of applications limited only by the number of RSS feeds in the world of the ability of the printer and would not require a separate application to be developed for each news feed, blog, etc..

  Unfortunately, I don't have any programming knowledge to note so I don't know where to start, or even if it is possible.

  I'm trying to create a URL connection in JDev 11.1.2 and using the RSS URL of JDev at the following address:

  However, the same link when I go from the browser, its accessible.

  This is almost certainly a problem with the configuration of your proxy, because it works fine for me (with no proxy between the two).

• Latest Podcast episode not updated in iTunes

  Hello

  For the first time our last podcast episode (we are on episode #18) it does not appear in iTunes - not even for subscribers, like me. My flow is updated very well, he retired to a third party validator and I am able to find the episode in Stitcher-and - Google Play, but iTunes does not seem to recognize it.

  I clicked manually "Refresh" in iTunes Podcast Connect, but it doesn't seem to help.

  The only clue is that last week is the first time, the episode did not show immediately in the iTunes store. Downloaded immediately for subscribers, he did not himself available in the iTunes store for about 24 hours. What I read is not terribly unusual, so we were not concerned. But this week is different without showing for subscribers.

  The only other thing I notice is my URL of mirror (that I found in the dashboard Podcast Connect) doesn't seem to be loading. My understanding is that it is the permanent URL of feed iTunes creates I can change my RSS URL feed without disrupting the subscribers. I have not changed my feed URL, but if if subscribers are feeding off the coast of this mirror URL and it does not work, it is the root of the problem? Not that I know how to fix the URL of mirror...

  Recently, I restarted my show. ' oh indeed ' and I'm unable to know certain things. I downloaded a brief show on talkshoe.com as if I had years back and when you go to the application of Podcast or Itunes. You can download the program as long as your capital. But it will not be displayed in the search.

  When I go on my podcasts connect page, it says "cannot play your stream. Result code bad http: 504 "

  As you say, the episode seems when you subscribe in iTunes, the iTunes Store is not show it again. I can access the food OK in FireFox and Terminal; It validates in FeedValidator but CastFeedValidator cannot read the stream even after 3 minutes. It is possible that the store can catch up later (it is may be slow because food has not been updated for four years) but there is no way to know about it.

  All this points to your server not responding to certain types of application. When I tried in Podcasts connect he simply says that he was unable to read from the stream. You have a 504 error - this is a 'GateWay timeout '. This page says:

  "A (not necessarily a Web server) server acts as a gateway or proxy to meet the demand of the client (e.g. your Web browser) to access the requested URL." This server has not received a response in due course to an upstream server, what it accessible to treat your HTTP request.

  This means that the upstream server is down (not), rather than based on the upstream server and the gateway/proxy do not agree on the data exchange protocol.

  Correction of errors of 504 - General

  This problem is entirely due to the slow IP communication between the back-end computers, possibly with the Web server. Only people who have set up the network on the site that hosts the Web server can solve this problem. »

  Your next step is to take it up with the people who run your server.

• new server, broken the podcast in iTunes

  Hi friends,

  I've recently changed servers (same hosting co.), but all the RSS URL and directories has remained the same. Rss continues to update correctly (episode #121 was after the upgrade). But my podcast in iTunes is broken (but not on the web, or using Android).  https://iTunes.Apple.com/us/podcast/Trinities-podcast-feed/id690304581 I see even he must the support URL suitable for each episode, but what I (or others) get is an exclamation point when we try to listen to or download.

  Can someone help me diagnose this? If iTunes is somehow looking at the old IP address for my media? http://Trinities.org/blog/feed/podcast

  The iTunes Store use the feed at http://trinities.org/blog/feed/podcast - your message is ambiguous: is it the old or the new workflow? If it is the old food he didn't y no redirection in place process or the "itunes: new-feed-url' tag or a 301 redirect.".   You have spaces - spaces are not allowed in a URL and a browser will correctly substitute the % 20 for each space code and the application itunes seems to cope OK (it used do not) store does not, of course, this correction and therefore sees the URL that ends at the first space. You must replace each space with an underscore character and do the same for all other URLS that contain spaces.

• Presentation Podcast on the iTunes store.

  I am having some problems with the presentation of my podcast episodes.

  Lets say hypothetically I want to release a new podcast episode on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. When should I submit the RSS feed URL for EACH episode to iTunes, to ensure that each episode will be published in due course. Im trying to figure out how many days in advance, I need to submit the RSS URL to apple for the episodes to release from time to time.

  There is no hard and fast rule about this. Usually, it takes 1 to 2 days for one episode to appear in the store, although the subscribers they will see as soon as their iTunes application checks the flow. You can not really do something the delay taken in the store, which caches the stream and check the new items in a kind of spin. Either incidentally, should actually send the stream to the store when you add a new episode, just add and re - publish workflow.

• Desperately need help with AS3 and Twitter Feed!

  I took another developer and try to add a Twitter feed to my flash application. The twitter feed has, but only the first title and loops. It does not show the other tweets, just the first title and repeat over and over again. Please help me with this because I'm desperate to fix.

  First of all, your cheating XMLList length is only 1. I like to use E4X rating rather than the old children() as you're here, so I might suggest to change this:

• Access to a link from within a servlet

  Hey all,.
  If I try to access a link from a servlet instead of use the ApplicationModule approach which is recognized as a bad idea (http://blogs.oracle.com/jdevotnharvest/2010/11/when_to_use_createrootapplicationmodule_in_oracle_adf.html). However, when the code runs in servlet line BindingContent.getCurrentBindingsEntry () returns null. I think that there is something missing in my setup which is originally ADFm to not recognize the servlet as having a binding file. Something stand out?

  When the code runs in servlet line BindingContent.getCurrentBindingsEntry () returns null.

  The BindingContext.getCurrentBindingsEntry () method returns the requestScope variable with key "bindings". When using ADF Faces, this variable is set during model prepare ADF Faces (by the method of PageLifecycleImpl.prepareModel ()). But when you use a simple servlet that variable is not set (because the lifecycle page ADF Faces is not running) and this is the reason why you get a null result. To work around the problem, you can use the following code in your servlet:
