  (1) in your instructions, there is no need to select the 'AMerica/New_York' both the UTC offset.  Either one will do.  I prefer the zone "America/New_York" myself.  You must choose your area either by using the lag or the place itself.

  (2) somehow, your configuration is recovering Etc/gmt-5, instead of utc-5, which is a little strange.  Don't know why this happens, use the specific location for your zone data.

  (3) select "America/New_York" only

  (4) Yes, the cp command correct time zone.  The following should solve your timezone: "cp/usr/share/zoneinfo/America/New_York/etc/localtime.

  You can communicate with the main timeline by dispatching events from the child swf file.

  When the child Swf is loaded, dispatches an event, i.e. - dispatchEvent (new Event ("DoTimeLineCode"));

  Then on your main timeline, listen for the event and perform the desired functions:

  Through the conversation up to now, I understand that your computer's time is off and restart the computer in mode 'sleep', after that you attempted to add your RAM of the laptop to an empty part of the RAM.

  Desktop contains a battery at the time when they are off, similar to a watch. Like a watch, the battery should be replaced when it runs the power. If the computer date and time stopped, possibly the CMOS battery is bad and must be replaced.

  The two issues could be inter related and can be fixed with the issue of computer time to fixation. I suggest you to contact your system manufacturer or a local technician to reset or replace the CMOS battery.

  If the problem persists even after having changed the CMOS battery, you can take your help system manufacturer to update your computer's BIOS (Basic Input Output System).

  Warning in the BIOS: Change BIOS / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly.   One solution suggested by another user is to set the timezone manually in San Juan, Puerto Rico:
