  Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with everything I threw at them.
  Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven very reliable and compatible.

  Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except away from Standard, Web and network is working.

  Prevx - Home - free

  Windows Firewall

  Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

  Protected IE - mode

  IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

  I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
  (Sometimes you have to temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom right of IE)

  Avast - stop home - free - all shields you do no need except leave Standard, Web and network running.

• A REAL DOOZY! -Turning off hyphenation feature makes text disappear!

  I came across a problem that I've never seen before in all my years as a graphic designer and all based much large text documents I drew.

  Basically I have a long text document base with a few simple paragraph styles. I had left the hyphenation, so went to decommission and BOOM the text began to break at a certain point, that somehow get sucked into oblivion after all the boxes of text block now 50 after him, the last of them showing a red cross. I would like to try out the text by linking the last text box on in the new, even using automatic flow, but he just made several empty boxes with a red x in the last.

  Go in the Story Editor mode (Edit > edit in story editor)

  And turn on hidden characters (Type > show hidden characters)
