  • Highlights the Client record in the color of the red label
  • Highlights the new folder of work also in the color of the red label
  • Sets a reminder that this new job is in my ToDo list

  This script is great and works like a charm in Mountain Lion.

  However, I upgraded a system test to Yosemite and my script fails.

  I get the following error message:

  "The path variable is not defined.

  I am stuck and don't know what has changed from Cougar in Yosemite that would cause this error.

  I would really appreciate it if someone could review this script and maybe let me know how to fix this error.

  The script is intended to be run from Automator, where the previous action provides an entry point for the variable in Run the AppleScript action in a workflow.  If this is still the case, you could try to load your workflow in Automator and re-save.

  I've upgraded to El Capitan this afternoon on my MacBook Pro (late 2011 version) and since then have been essentially unable to use Safari as it freezes several times, forcing me to force to leave every time. I noticed that others on the Board had listed their etrecheck results, so mine are below.

  It has been quite frustrating - Safari was my go - to browser and seems today almost no functional for me. (Firefox works fine, no problem, then what is it with Safari?)

  Hello

  Not sure about your hardware specs, but you manage to do the upgrade in one day (if you have already tested on a TEST instance first). You can ask for two days and take the time to do this upgrade. The upgrade of the database should not affect functionality of the system or test that you do.

  Did you read my post above? If I tell you that one upgrade I did, that you will say anything about the time of the upgrade in your own environment.
  As a general rule, no one can tell you. You even don't tell us your OS/CPU/RAM/upgrade method, but if you're upgrading from the db in place (I mean direct upgrade), the size of the database has no effect, the number of objects might have a since you will all rebuild during the upgrade process.
  You don't want to upgrade a database from test to test your application on the 11g database? If so, this will also give you an estimate period for your upgrade of production.
