Time to upgrade to 5.1?

I am a student and turns ESXi 4.1 348481 for some time and I thought upgrading to the new 5.1 for quite awhile, but I've heard mixed reviews and some possible limitations on the material. I run an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 and 16 GB of RAM. Y at - it the new restrictions that would prevent me to use these resources and are there possibly more features available after upgrading?

I am running OS 10.8.5 that I find to be a problem quite stable and free. However, more and more applications and sites Web is more it support and urged me to go to an OS that is supported. The same situation applies to my main browser, Safari 6.2.8, which is no longer can be improved, unless I have install a new operating system. In other words, they tell me that if I want to use my iMac to its full potential, I have to install El Capitan.

I am very reluctant to upgrade to a new operating system, especially when it came out. It is often full of problems, and it may take some time before these problems are solved. El Capitan has been out for six months and I was wondering how it works for you. Are most, if not all of the original bugs now missing? No serious problems remain?

Safari freezes several times after upgrade of El Capitan

Hello world

I've upgraded to El Capitan this afternoon on my MacBook Pro (late 2011 version) and since then have been essentially unable to use Safari as it freezes several times, forcing me to force to leave every time. I noticed that others on the Board had listed their etrecheck results, so mine are below.

It has been quite frustrating - Safari was my go - to browser and seems today almost no functional for me. (Firefox works fine, no problem, then what is it with Safari?)

We are currently implementing EBS R12.1 on our new client. We are 90% complete in our CRP (UAT).

At this point, the customer asked to upgrade the database 11 g R2. For the reason that they always wanted the
more later certified release of the database before moving above them.

Our boss ask me how many days will it take to do the upgrade and what is the impact on the current trial of CRP?
Are they repeat the testing process?

My answer was, the upgrade will be maximally 2 days and there will be 'none' impact to the current trial of CRP.

Hello

Not sure about your hardware specs, but you manage to do the upgrade in one day (if you have already tested on a TEST instance first). You can ask for two days and take the time to do this upgrade. The upgrade of the database should not affect functionality of the system or test that you do.

Did you read my post above? If I tell you that one upgrade I did, that you will say anything about the time of the upgrade in your own environment.
As a general rule, no one can tell you. You even don't tell us your OS/CPU/RAM/upgrade method, but if you're upgrading from the db in place (I mean direct upgrade), the size of the database has no effect, the number of objects might have a since you will all rebuild during the upgrade process.
You don't want to upgrade a database from test to test your application on the 11g database? If so, this will also give you an estimate period for your upgrade of production.

My venerable (4 years and older) P100 finally needed a larger HARD drive and a reload. Not bad because he had 2 new covers and needs another.

The server is a domain controller and a file server for 2 programs.

No mail electronic or other uses.

One of my client machines is a precision with two Xeon processors T7400. I thought to use it just as a server. I also have a Poweredge 840 which I could resurrect.
