TimerTask applications stack

If I create a TimerTask which has an (eventual) long-term action that will not end before the timer again fires, it seems that requests piling up.  Is there a limit to the number of requests that can be queued?  For example, I have a task that takes (I know that this makes no sense) long duration 60 minutes and my timer interval is one minute.  When the first task ends there will be 60 applications behind it Yes?

Need to add a control structure, as a vector of the queue with runnables, between the two. for example, you can remove all the runnables when you have completed your task.

on the other hand I don't see why you want a timertask to do this, wouldn't it be easier to plan a re - run once the task is completed?

    Now what to do if, after reaching Screen4 we get Screen2 instance (to remove only Screen2 backstack)

    According to documents UiApplication has getScreenBelow() method... But it returns only a screen below the active screen (in this case Screen3)

    So is it possible to set some tags at the time to push and to any proceeding in any screen after having detected this tag we can screen instance decided?

    You can call getScreenBelow multiple times.
    to identify a certain screen, you can use setCookie/getCookie.
    As an alternative, you can store a reference to your screen in a variable.

    I donno what are your exact needs...

    If you want to load screens on selcting a menuitem from the GUI go to create menuItem.

    In the case depends on certain conditions of your application then just use

    try
      {
           UiApplication.getUiApplication().pushScreen(TestScreen);
      }

    catch(Exception e)
    {

  • How to get the PL/SQL-call of a running application stack? (11.2.0.3)

    Hello

    I have an app running, but does not end.

    I can see the SQL, but I need to find out what PL/SQL-package the SQL.

    Does anyone have a tip for me where to look?

    There are many examples in order to recover the call in the exception management stack, but none to recover by session_id.

    Thanks in advance,

  • Eception exception: Application myapplication (253) does not. the process is completed.

    I recently experience "Eception exception: Application myapplication(253) does not; the process is completed. "on"BOLD".  myapplication here indicates the name of the application that I've done.

    could someone tell me what can cause this problem? I appreciate it. My request is almost launched!

    This occurs when filling out your application event queue. The usual reason for this is that you hold the thread of events for too long. For example, you perform a CPU work as oprganizing some data structures of a method in a graphical interface.

    When this problem occurs, the operating system will force a dump stack for all applications currently running trace. You must retrieve the log of the events on the device and to find the trace of your application stack. Once you do this, you will probably identify the offending code that monopolizes the processor.

    Once you identify the offending code, you must either change as the event thread is not be monopolized, or possibly isolate the procedure in its own thread so that the event thread can return to sender system.

    This means that, following the structure of the URL of the APEX, in the example

    f?p=4000:4150:&APP_SESSION.

    the application ID is 4000, and the page ID is 4150. 4000 is actually the ID of the application that provides the APEX Builder Application development environment, and page 4150 is the definition of the pages it contains. Application between 3000 and 8999 ID are reserved for internal use of the APEX, so any application ID share you will be outside this range.

    How do I Unlike id and the real id of the developer?

    Please guide me because I think I'm also give the URL of developer which I just copy the URL of the web browser.

    There is no such thing as 'developer id' and 'real id '. Developers and end users run applications using the same ID.

    Note that published URL of permanent demand within applications should use alphanumeric calls and page aliases, ID not digital. This allows a fixed URL to provide to end users while allowing developers and administrators flexibility in how applications are deployed and maintained over time.

    If you have any remaining doubts, provide all the details of what you are doing, including the URL that you create.

  • App stack troubleshooting or absence - Office 365

    I'm looking to reassure, help, advice before go me crazy. Please excuse my evacuation, because I've lost months of precious time trying to get this working so my frustration level is at its zenith. I understand the add-on app volume was an acquisition, but the lack of documentation, tools, etc. that come with it is to the bottom right embarrising to what VMware charges for this. I get the concept and have been excitied about its implementation to get rid of ThinApps, the App - V and RDS applications, but the inconsistecy of this solution which makes me have doubts. I currently work in a test environment with view 6.2, EMU 3.7 and App volume 2.9. Our linked clone pool is configured with a base image installed Windows 7 without anything except Office 365 (because it won't work like a pile of app). I used the guide to optimize Windows 7, downloaded the Horizon tool for Windows 7 and everything seems to work well. Office 365 has been installed using this guide: How to configure Office 365 Pro in an environment non-persistent VDI | SvenHuisman.com and the pool is configured without persistent discs or persona, but use the EMU. Now, on to the problem.

    Default application stack:

    -Adobe Reader

    -Java / Flash / Silverlight / Quicktime

    -The client software ERP basic

    -Chrome

    -Firefox

    -Webex productivity tools

    -Cisco Jabber

    Admin App Stack:

    -VMware vSphere Client

    -FileZilla

    -mRemoteNG / PuTTY

    -SolarWinds IP address Tracker

    -EMU management console

    -Other utilities

    All batteries in the app have been installed on a clean image of nothing but VMware tools and agent of volume App. The two app chimneys have been created several times to see if the installation has been damaged, but the result is the same.

    Questions:

    • Whenever an app stack is attached (computer or user), Office 365 will stop working. It may take a week, a day, an hour, etc. He just not launch and give weird messages. Sometimes a reboot will work, a refreshment or recompose is sometimes necessary. Remove the battery of the app has not proven to make a difference if a restart does not help. The range of messages to "run the repair facility" at the same time where the .exe is missing.
    • If no app stacks are attached, Office 365 and the virtual machine works perfectly and not hang or stop working.
    • If only the default application stack is set to the user, strange behaviour performance will happen. For example, Chrome sometimes will not load a Web page, will be very slow, or when a new tab is loaded, you will get the "Oops... He's dead Jim" message and nothing will work as if you close and then restart Chrome. Other applications will be weird problems that cannot be reproduced. However, if I connect the battery to the application on the computer, these questions appear. I guess because of some of the services that are installed with Adobe and Chrome?
    • If the default application stack and stack app admin are attached, the virtual machine will randomly crash and restart. I looked through the ESX newspapers, VDM, App stack newspapers and even event viewer and there is nothing specific that appears. The machine makes a complete stop and is launched upward by the server.

    I'm sure there are other issues that I don't forget everything, but is important to Office 365. I can't identify what stack app is causing the problem. For example, I thought it was the battery of the Admin, so I removed that and ran a few weeks without any problem on the default stack. My colleague had the same configuration and now its started crashing. I guess my biggest complaint is that I can't find any type of log to see what happens when this virtual machine is stopped or when the Office 365 stops working. I feel like I'm just throwing darts blind folded and because the questions are consistent, it takes 2-3 weeks just to find out that it does not work. If anyone has experienced something like this, please let me know. I would like to open a VMware support ticket, but because I can't identify the question I know that it will be a huge waste of time (given my past experience with VMware support). I'm also tired of playing the game "awaiting the next version", that we purchased in December 2014 because he had to change everything and I feel that VMware pushed this product down our throats without integrating fully into the stack of the Horizon (off soap box now). I fortunately provide logs, screenshots, examples if anyone wants to take a shot at this. Thanks for letting me escape and thanks for any help or advice on this issue. I feel better... for now

    First things first. Office 365 is NOT supported with App Volumes today. It will be with 2.10 Q4 coming calendar.

    There is a different license scheme used with Office 365 and there are technical considerations with how it fits into the operating system. The problems you describe we know and are working on wth 2.10. It is not a specific, but rather to Office 365 AppStack himself. Stay tuned for more information as I have, I'll share.

  • 360 13 inches x spectrum: spectrum x 360 8.1 Windows stops to get into sleep after a few hours

    My x 360 spectrum stops to get into sleep after a few hours of normal behavior.  In other words, when the computer is started first, he put on standby and Hibernate mode then normally after the specified idle period.  It can then be woken up and work normally and then to go back to sleep after inactivity - during a few hours.  It stops working after the computer has been for a few hours.  I don't know exactly how much time must be in place before this problem starts, but once it ceases to be able to sleep, the only way to solve the problem is to reboot the system.  Once the problem occurs, the computer turns off the screen but that's it.  He will sleep if I do it manually by pressing the button of power or a click on the Windows button and forcing them to sleep or hibernation.

    I watched powercfg /requests and there is nothing listed that could prevent sleep.  I ran also report with fluo compact powercfg and it also does not list something that prevents apparent sleep.

    I found a thread on Microsoft answers community web site.  Unfortunately, it seems that Microsoft has not fixed even though this thread is over a year.  This has been driving me crazy.  In any case, the problem is with Windows 8.1 and is caused by the use of a Microsoft account to connect to the computer.  If the account is not connected, after a few hours the computer stops to fall asleep.  If you close the MS account, then the computer will sleep normally.  My dose is to convert my connection from the local computer to a local account and disconnect from Microsoft.  This process is easy to do, go into the settings of PC and disconnect the account.  It will keep your original profile.

    Here is the link to the thread that got clued in the solution:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows8_1-performance/Windows-81-refuses-to-sleep-automatically-idle/6ab4aaaf-31bd-4baf-ABC6-62ba8c8260aa?DB=5&page=2&rtAction=1452178632575

    I consider this resolved issue that HP is concerned.  Microsoft needs to address the issue.  I'm not interested in switching to Windows 10 for compatibility reasons and, in this regard, the same problem can exist in the W10.

  • How display the precedent when the browser shut down.

    Hi all

    I'm working on an application where user opens a screen and click a button when the user pressed this button, that it redirects to the browser of the phone with a specified binding. but I am facing a problem in that, when finally narrow the user's browser without complete specific action, my screen also poped off the coast of the user interface. My concern is that if the user close or close the browser without end action it must show previous screen. Please suggest me how to do this...

    Here is the code

    ButtonField checkUpdate = new ButtonField ("Update", ButtonField.CONSUME_CLICK);

    FieldChangeListener updateListener = new FieldChangeListener() {}

    ' Public Sub fieldChanged (field field, int context) {}

    Private private = Browser.getDefaultSession ();
    browserSession.displayPage ("http://www.xyz.com");

    }

    };

    checkUpdate.setChangeListener (updateListener);

    Some clarifications are needed before answering the question.

    requestBackground() is launched against the running application, not a screen.  If the application that will be 'requestBackground()' is your application (unless you did something very complicated!).  If you call requestBackground() in your application, then the BlackBerry OS will put your application at the bottom of the application stack and use the application stack that I described earlier to decide who to display screen of the application.

    In your application (in fact in any application), there is only a single screen at a time.  The BlackBerry OS keeps a stack of screen for your application, so the top of the screen hides those below.  When the screen from the top is popped, the one below is displayed.

    Now, back to your question:

    "can we set several background screen using the requestBackground() method?"

    I hope you understand now my answer, that is, you can set screens of your application in the background - but in reality, from the point of view of the user, you send a screen in the background, since that's all they see (users) don't see not the other displays on screen of the application stack until the top is popped.

  • Screen that disappears on the event PhoneListener

    Hello.

    I create an object with the PhoneListener interface, and on the method of callDisconnected , I want to display a screen.  I am able to get the screen appears immediately after the end of the call, but what happens is that the screen for a short period of time, then disappears.  Attempt to failover to the active application has no effect.  Is anyone able to identify what I am doing wrong?  I tried several solutions.  Here is a copy of the callDisconnected code.

    {} public void callDisconnected (int callId)
    TODO self-generating method stub

    Try
    {

    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeLater (new Runnable() {}
    public void run()
    {
    Make changes to screen here.
    ServiceLogScreen _serviceLogScreen = new ServiceLogScreen();
    Invalidate() call on your display requires painting
    method to call.
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (_serviceLogScreen);
    }
    });

    }
    catch (System.Exception e)
    {
    Dialog.Alert (e.getMessage ());
    }

    }

    I guess that this is because the phone application moves to the background when a call is disconnected. You push the screen in the display of the phone application stack, because UiApplication.getUiApplication () returns the reference to the phone application. If you want to push a screen in the stack to display your application of your receiver, you can either send a global event to your application (and your application will need to respond), or keep a WeakReference to your application and call pushScreen or invokeLater on this reference, provided that the underlying purpose of the UiApplication is not null.

  • After upgrade to apex 5 images static and services rest fail with 404

    It's probably something stupid, I did, but I can't understand what it and after 2 days of going around circles (mainly on these forums!) I think I need help

    I've updated to 5 apex, I ran the script @apex_rest_config.sql, ADR configured to run under tomcat, but images of the workspace and the rest services do not work I'm just 404.

    "GET/exbtuat2/f? ' p = 9999:LOGIN: HTTP/1.1 "200 12328

    "GET /exbtuat2/manrep/r/files/static/v2Y/login.png HTTP/1.1" 404 14942

    "GET/exbtuat2/f? ' p = 9999:LOGIN: HTTP/1.1 "200 12329

    Try the rest gives script sample:

    "GET/exbtuat2/manrep/employees HTTP/1.1" 404 14942

    Setting up debugging on ADR shows that pools are supposed to be properly configured:

    Someone at - it ideas why this isn't working (my guess would be rights issue), my apologies if I missed something stupid and don't see it?

    Thank you

    Dave

    I solved the problem. It seems to be a problem with the use of ADR ords.3.0.0.121.10.23. The images don't work either as a stand-alone with tomcat. Back to ords.2.0.10.289.08.09 has solved the problems.

  • Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" impossible

    Hello

    I get a StackOverflowError after about 13 recurrences in my application.

    I have a form for adding and after users add something I want autodisplay form to add it again. It is a recurrence which can go up to a few hundred.

    How can I fix?

    I don't want to treat recursively, can I break the recursion or is there another solution?

    Can I empty the program application stack?

    Thank you.

  • Verification of the users belonging to the Group spasfic weblogic server

    I built a simple service application web with jdeveloper 11.1.1.7 strategy (Wssp1.2 - 2007-Https-UsernameToken - Plain.xml) and deploy the weblogic 10.3. Everything works very well in both the client side and server.

    The client side is unable to call any method without specifying the username and password properties. The server automatically checks the user in users values define in weblogic server in the following path (summary of the areas of security > myrealm > users and groups). Hereby, the customer can access the system if he takes one of the users in this group even with the default user weblogic/weblogic.

    Question: How to limit the name to username/password check with specific usergroup?. That is, if the client mentions the name of user and password outside of the Group (even if the values are correct) the server rejects the request

    Problem, solved by (user name: Roque)

    in this link: java - verification of users within the spasfic group of weblogic server for the web service application - Stack Overflow

    Here is his answer for your reference:

    If you use the 'default' weblogic for users authentication method, you can follow these steps to set up an access group policy:

    • Connect to the weblogic administration console
    • Click on the links of deployments
    • Select your webservice
    • Click the Security tab
    • Click the sub-tab political
    • Choose your authorization provider in the menu drop-down (looks like by default)
    • Choose Add Conditions-> Group-> Type in the name of the Group
    • Finishing

    Now that the group you added should be able to invoke the web service. All other users should see something like:

    javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Access denied to operation myWebService

  • Users capture EMU settings questions

    Hello

    I'm currently testing on the EMU/appvolumes but I'm confused on one aspect of EMU.

    1. I captured Mozilla + Chrome and parameters that are performed by the user is captured. The two applications are stored in the application stack the user goes up when you connect. I can't solve a problem where two applications think they are running for the first time. Two of them are constantly asking "you want to make <>the default browser?  However, I can change the home page, and he remembers everything that is put in. Any idea what can I do to solve this?

    2. I expect that users will install other apps in the accessible volumes in writing. He has a very good chance that whatever they install won't an application that I've profiled. EMU will capture parameters for programs I have not targeted?

    Hello

    The default browser issue you describe is a Windows set, not a browser. Windows keeps track of your default programs.

    If you want to capture the default browser setting, create a new Config file and give a name like "default browser" and put there the following content:

    [IncludeRegistryTrees]

    HKCU\Software\Classes\FirefoxHTML

    HKCU\Software\Classes\FirefoxURL

    HKCU\Software\Classes\.htm

    HKCU\Software\Classes\.html

    HKCU\Software\Classes\.shtml

    HKCU\Software\Classes\. XHT

    HKCU\Software\Classes\. XHTML

    HKCU\Software\Classes\ftp

    HKCU\Software\Classes\http

    HKCU\Software\Classes\https

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.htm

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.html

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.shtml

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\. XHT

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\. XHTML

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Associations\UrlAssociations

    The second question is a little more difficult. EMU will only seize the settings for applications that you have created an EMU config file for (with the Profiler).

    We are working on something to do that's easier to manage.

    Best regards, Pim.
