  It's my second iPad Pro since Dec. 23. I had my first replaced because he was a topic on the screen which seems not to respond with my jot adonit stylus pro. So when I first came to this replacement, after the service provider deemed first one defective, I tested it before going to the store. Everything was fine. The pen worked all over the screen. Then, I have upgraded to iOS 9.2. The bug is back and on the same sector than before! The area is near the smart connector. (see attached photo) It was very similar, if not exactly the same area where the iPad Pro I had replaced had stylus response problem. I really think that it was a bug in iOS, since before the upgrade to 9.2, this problem did not exist. Please fix this in the next update.

  

  I use a point w/pixel Adonit Jot touch with my iPad Pro and have not noticed this problem at all.

  I have a 128 GB Pro iPad.

  You use the Adonit Jot Pro with the disc on the end?

  Make sure that is not the drive or the pen end i.e. issues like screen technology is different in the iPad Pro, in particular for certain types of stylii?

• Meeting place for DELL Pro 8 - option missing sleep after updated

  I own a DELL Pro 8 meeting place. After updating drivers, the tablet will not sleep and pressing the power button is no longer in the Tablet 'SLEEP' mode.  SLEEP option is completely missing the Tablet remains on constantly even when not used.

  The updates that I applied are

  Pilot series Intel Atom Z3000

  Running reliable engine Driver Intel

  5570 WWAN and GNSS (GPS) Driver Wireless Dell Mobile Broadband

  I've found a workaround.

  I found that disable driver Wirless 5570 Mobile broadband device Windows re-activates the SLEEP feature Manager.  This would indicate that the problem is with the driver 5570 Wireless.  I tried to downgrade to a previous version of this driver, but Mobile broadband will completely stop working.

  I suppose that others have the same problem, if you have not applied the latest updates and a meeting place for Dell Pro 8 with a card 3G it would be a good idea to not update drivers at this time.

  In the end, I updated the Windows operating system files and installed A03.  Could not get A04 or A05 works not at all.

  It is clear that these updates have not been tested on the site of Dell Pro 8.  I highly recommend to avoid updating the driver for the card 3G until an adjustment for the driver of the object is released.

  The reality is that Dell has released a product with a digital pen that does not work properly and use a 3G card that does not work properly.  In general I would avoid Dell Windows tablets in the future, if you do not have to use Windows 8.1 I would recommend that you buy an Apple iPad.

  The iPad is a fantastic table.

  My place of dell pro screen start flashing once the call is established. Sometimes, the screen remains black as if swithced off. This happens all in making a call or once I answer a phone call. The touch screen is disabled for the duration of the call. Once the Group at the other end disconnects screen becomes active again. I called dell support and they advised to reset to the factory settings. Tried, but the problem still persists.

  Had the same issue, but took off the protective film that came with the phone and resolved immediately.

  The default phone has a battery mode that disables the display when it in next to you ear and an appeal is in economics.

  Seems the protective skin band prevents the phone to detect when its next to your ear

  You must get the 64-bit for this device driver.  Ask Epson if a Vista or Windows 7 Inbox driver is compatible.    If it is a machine large format you will need to get the Epson driver form. • Expected .dbf files copied from old house Oracle Oracle home again after an upgrade out of place?

  I recently performed an upgrade out of place of Oracle 11.2.0.2 at 11.2.0.4 by following the checklist to upgrade Oracle (Doc ID 1276368.1).  While doing an RMAN backup, I noticed he was doing market back files .dbf since the old Oracle 11.2.0.2 rather than the new Oracle 11.2.0.4 Directory directory.  The .dbf files that are being backed up are not in the new Oracle 11.2.0.4 directory.  Must the .dbf files be copied to the Oracle of old House to the new House Oracle after an upgrade?

  I have a few questions for those of you who have installed 11g on Windows OS before entering the actual installation

  I currently have installed 11.2.0.3 and I want to install 11.2.0.4

  There are two options:

  1. in-Place Upgrade (which I have always done with my servers and Oracle10g databases)
  2. out of Place Upgrade (which I never did)

  My questions refer to option 2

  My current oracle is
  E:\App\Oracle\
  E:\App\Oracle\product\11.2.0.3\dbhome1

  I want to install in 11.2.0.4

  E:\App\Oracle\
  E:\App\Oracle\product\11.2.0.4\dbhome1

  1. what happens to all folders and files under E:\App\Oracle?

  i.e.
  \Admin
  \cfgtools
  \checlpoints
  \DIAG
  etc.

  They get more written?
  It will not install because it already exists?
  Do I have to create a new location, then?

  2. I've already configured for 11.2.0.3 services

  How to get created if they already exist for 11.2.0.3 services for 11.2.0.4

  I have no experience with Windows - that your approach is correct. The contents of these directories will not be overwritten - will add new files in these directories. As always, take a full backup of the existing House before you install a new home - and test on all those processes and steps on a test server (and validate) before touching production servers.

  Regarding services, you must unregister and register again using the ORADIM - see step 7 in MOS Doc 1276368.1

• DG, patch out of place

  Instance DG worked fine last week, after a lot of work - yesterday, I apply the patches ('out of place patch', opportunity new oracle home) and log files are not available from primary to standby.

  Copy the copied file orapw listener.ora and tnsnames.ora, update oratab - TNSPing works, "sqlplus sys/pw@stby as sysdba" works both primary and standby

  Read the two pieces of documentation, 278641.1, and 1389364.1, and it seems that I followed all the steps correctly for the upgrade.

  Not what I expected. In view of the ORA-12154 I thought that your/network/admin could have evolved and server didn't have the tnsnames in the right place.

  If you copied the password to the waiting file and renamed him applies properly to try to stop and restart the database on the new password file, and then apply again.

  tnsnames, your alias for listener configuration database name are usually the cause of this error.

  It must be remembered that basic data/binaries are separate from the database itself.  As a general rule, you first install the software (as you did for 11.2.0.3) and then create a database. Best practices of States that the location of the database files must be outside/different then the location of the binary files.

  When you install your new 11.2.0.4 in a new place, it's all what you do - installation does not affect the existing database. Once the 11.2.0.4 software is installed, you can upgrade the database by following the steps described in upgrade guide (the stay of files of database where they are, but the database is updated from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4) and when the upgrade is completed successfully (11.2.0.3) old binaries can be uninstalled at leisure.
