TMS - add a mistake to endpoint systems

Hello

I am trying to add endpoints Polycom HDX 7000 HD in my TMS, but I find some problems.

(1) the hardware is recognized and connected, but in the end, the process of adding the following message is displayed:

System already exists under a different system of TMS; Updated but not added to the file system.

(2) locate the device with 'systems - Purge', I remove the material and try to add one more time, then the message:

The start tag of 'meta' on the position of the 20 24 line does not match the end of "script" tag Line 22, position 7.

I wonder if this equipment is stored in another place, in a different database, or I have to perform another procedure of

exclude them completely the system.

TMS version: 13.2.1

Polycom Version: 3.0.3 (other material from the same version are added)

Hello

I found a bug on this. Here is the workaround

Workaround solution:

* Install endpoint HDX HDX 3.0.3.1 version at least

Disable the setting "Select lists of Session" on the Polycom system (since the local interface, go to system > Admin settings > General settings > Security > security settings.) From the web interface, go to settings Admin > settings > Security > security settings)

Please let me know if it worked.

  • TMS and registered CUCM phones (endpoint No. TC points)

    Hello

A customer has a lot of 9971 series and other video capable ip saved in CUCM phones which are obviously not the criteria of TC.

How can I go to add to TMS? Are they added only as unmanaged endpoints?

Is it possible that I can force the TMS or the conductor also to call them so that they can join a conference?

We have some use VIP users who want to call rather than compose themselves at the Conference and they have no endpoint of TC.

Thanks in advance for the help!

You probably don't have to add CUCM in TMS, unless you want to add any endpoints mentioned some of my first answer in TMS, although it wouldn't hurt to add it anyway.

You can add IP phones as unmanaged endpoint points, although this will consume a TMS system for each license added.  If you have plenty of endpoints that you want to add and you do not have enough licenses, you can use a directory phone, as mentioned earlier, see the "Manage Sources of phonebook" on pg 187 for more details.  You can schedule video conferences using two methods, but Smart Scheduler is unable to add participating telephone directories, so the TMS advanced scheduler should be used if you add participants from telephone directories.

What you do above in the TMS for the planning of endpoints has no impact on its PMF, you can add endpoints you want logged in as a favorite yourself in your TMS user portal.

  • TMS - add some unmanaged endpoints

    Hello

If I add a phone 9951 as unmanaged in TMS endpoint (there is no other way I can tell) if it also nourishes a system license? I have 25 total

    Kind regards

    Yes, they do.

They will be listed under "Rooms," or "Material", according to your choice, but they will appear in the total number of licenses of system being used.

  • Help me understand how the scheduling TMS add participating really means.

    Hello

I have a MSD working with the conductor and telepresence server.

Can I create a reservation and incoming and outgoing calls to telepresence rooms without any problems.

I n ' have local endpoint registered to my TMS so I add participant external tab, let's say I add 5 participants for H323 and SIP 5, so I have a meeting room with 10 reserved ports.

During the call to the meeting instead that it will fall into these 10 port reservation, instead, he join as an adhoc appeal and now the meeting room extended to 11 participants with 1 connected and not connected 10.

    Why?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Add 9188 Chassis to the system definition file (sdf)

I want to measure the basic in Veristand 2011 without a custom device channels.  In the system definition file, how can I add a 9188 chassis? And how do I add a thermocouple on channel 0 on a series c 9213 module?  Thank you!

    Hello

You work with a Windows or device in real time?

If you use VeriStand able to work with a Windows-based system, the addition of a cDAQ-9188 should not be a problem; the equipment Discovery Wizard he will come if it's in the same network as the Windows computer. Having problems with this?

If you have a real-time like a Pharlap ETS PXI controller running target, you will not be able to use the cDAQ-9188 at all because it is not supported in real-time operating systems. If you work with a target in real time and you need the CompactDAQ you either move to Windows or we a USB CompactDAQ instead, like a cDAQ-9178.

Please refer to this topic. The second post made by a Product Support Engineer and I was able to confirm that the information is still valid even for the latest versions of NOR-DAQmx and VeriStand. You can also check the compatibility in real-time in the Readme of NOR-DAQmx 15.5.

  • Can I add a Logitech 5.1 system of external speakers to my computer touchscreen Smart 23 - d060qd of JEALOUSY

It seems to be just a sub woofer port to add that. In the hope he is far from adding my 5.1 System. The built-in speakers are good, but there is no sound surround.

    Hello joebono,

I do not know what logitech system, you have, so I don't know what your Setup program. I know, on my computer, my Logitech 5.1 sound system is USB.

That being said, there are not enough ports on the computer to connect all cables to the computer to run a 5.1 system surround standard. What you need is a speaker system where everything connects to the subwoofer, and then you connect to the subwoofer to the computer.

Otherwise as I mentioned on my own personal system is that you have a USB powered speaker system.

This thread also addresses the problem you are experiencing.

  • TMS directory failed in the endpoints of series C after the migration of the device to the virtual computer

    Hi all

We have migrated the 12.8 TMS from the device to the TMS 13.0 on the VM platform. There is no matching TMSPE and mainly used for management and directory service.

Once the migration is complete on the platform of the VM, we found that endpoint C-series could not receive phonebook of TMS (while 95 MXP endpoints works very well with the TMS directory).

The end point of series C, we check the Configuration-> directory server 1: URL. The link is converted from http:// /tms/public/external/phonebook/phonebookservice.asmx http:// tms/public/external/phonebook/phonebookservice.asmx.

(In addition, we check the authorization of the two phone book page, and there is no IIS issue).

In the 95 MXP endpoint, it can receive the telephone directory unit VM MSD and MSD.

    Best regards

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

As confirmed by the curl command - you don't have access to the web page as an anonymous user.  You have to fix your permissions.  One of the fastest ways to do would be to try to reinstall the MSDS on the server again - this should reconfigure the IIS settings required for TMS.

  • Automatic installation of GTA 4 on windows 7, my mistake is 'incompatible system '.

GTA 4 car is supposed to be compatible with Windows 7.  I get the error "your system is not compatible.

My system: Windows 7 Home premium, model # HPE - 150ff, Intel (r) Core i7 CPU 860 to 2.80 GHz 2.80 GHz (RAM) 8.00 GB, NVIDIA GeForce GT 230, 64-bit operating system.

So is there something I can do to make it work?

    Hi want want to be.

By searching on the site of Grand Theft Auto 4 I found that no information regarding its compatibility with Windows 7.

I suggest that you try to install the game using the compatibility mode on the file setup.exe on the game and try to install the game and check.

To run the troubleshooting program compatibility Troubleshooter

    1. open the program compatibility problems by clicking on the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type Troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under programs, click run programs made for previous versions of Windows.

    2. follow the instructions in the troubleshooting.

If you are unable to install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the Troubleshoot utility, navigate to the program setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. This utility is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.

  • Windows 7 RC add a mistake of the printer 0x0000052e

Windows 7 doesn't seem like our environment at all.  The last problem is when I try to add a network printer; After that I entered the name of the UNC \\SERVER\SHARE printer and click Next, I get this:
Windows cannot connect to the printer.
    Operation failed with error 0x0000052e.

The printer is hosted on a Windows Server 2003 R2 server, which has not shown this error to any Windows XP or Vista clients, only customers of Windows 7 RC and for all printers.  The printer driver is already installed locally, so what matters.

I did not attempt to raise (run as administrator) when I open Control Panel-> devices and printers, because I didn't see an option to do so.

How can I pass this variable hostname as input in the powershell script?

Fixed. Presentation does not have what I needed...

Just added a new scriptable entity task before the Invoke and external script. This was connected to the vCACVm parameter and the scriptArgs string attribute. New release of scriptArgs was passed to the string value of Arguments in Invoke script and external.

The only required code was in this new task scripatable.

I need to add an existing virtual machine to my VMWare Server 2.02, but I can't find a way to do it in the interface.

My VM is located in my "C:" drive, but the default virtual machine folder is located in the 'G' drive, you can see in this screenshot:

Can someone tell me how to add the virtual machine to the list?

    Thank you very much.

    Best regards.

Even if you have the host selected in the left column, look all the way in the right column for the option 'add the DATA store '.  There, you can add the new location to the list of data stores.
